I had a flat tire emergency while passing through Front Royal, VA, and Overall Auto Repair came to my rescue. Unlike other shops that gave me long waiting times, Overall Auto Repair provided outstanding service by promptly fixing my tire.When my tire sensor lit up, I stopped to find a nail lodged in my tire. I visited three different tire repair shops, but they seemed uninterested in a simple patch and offered unreasonable wait times. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Overall Auto Repair.The staff at Overall Auto Repair greeted me warmly and assured me they would fix my tire immediately. They worked efficiently and professionally, demonstrating their expertise. Within no time, my tire was repaired and ready for the road.I was impressed by the promptness and dedication of the Overall Auto Repair team. Their exceptional service and commitment to resolving my issue quickly were truly commendable. Took our truck in after accidentally falling into some of those infamous ditches on the mountain last winter and we've been taking our cars to Seymour ever since. He's always super fast, super nice, and the prices are super affordable.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I was visiting Virginia from NY for a getaway. There were lots of gravels where i stayed. Every time i drive i could hear the gravels hitting under my car. Turned out my skit panel was loose because there was two bolts missing. I was worried to drive back home thinking of the worst case. I searched on google and showed up without calling in need of desperate help. They were able to take me right away and they explained in detail. Very helpful and thankful for the quick and friendly service.

I was very fortunate to find this garage when I broke down an hour into a seven hour drive home. We were super lucky to find a garage open on a Saturday that could do the job. Not only did they fit us in without notice for a three hour job in the middle of the day, but they didn t even gouge us. In fact, the cost was about $500 for a job that I had previously paid $850 for, last year (an alternator on a Toyota Sienna that was apparently defective). Seymour is the man. Kind, honest and efficient

Seymour is amazing ! Took my car for a noise - very cheap diagnostic check and since i left my car there same day to get fixed he didnt charge me the diagnostics fee. Found out there was an extra issue once he started but he called me before even proceeding with the job - highly recommend- cant find honest mechanics like this anymore

Worst experience I ve ever had. He sold us a lemon car that had numerous modifications(we did not know of). The car did not even make it back home because it almost blew a head gasket on the middle of the high way. It was running well then all of a sudden it started over heating and not accelerating at all. There was a truck behind us that was seconds from running us over but we pulled over to the highway in time. After the incident he was responding to our calls but then went radio silent. It took about 300 calls to finally get a hold of him. Till this day the car is broken. He did nothing to help the situation. I truly am disappointed.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Overall Auto Repair, and I must say it was by far the worst service I have ever encountered. From start to finish, their service was not only subpar but also outrageously overpriced. What made matters worse was the disheartening realization that the owner, Seymour, would seize every opportunity to exploit unsuspecting customers while maintaining a fa�ade of humility.First and foremost, the quality of the repairs conducted by Overall Auto Repair was nothing short of abysmal. I initially took my vehicle to them for what seemed like a minor issue, but it quickly escalated into a never-ending nightmare. The repair work was sloppy, and the problems I brought it in for were left unresolved. It was as if their technicians lacked the necessary expertise or simply didn't care about doing the job right.However, the appalling service I received was not the worst part of my experience it was the exorbitant prices I was charged for their incompetence. Seymour, the owner, would exploit any chance he could to overcharge his customers, taking advantage of their lack of automotive knowledge. The initial estimate provided was significantly lower than the final bill, with countless "unexpected" fees added along the way. It felt like a deliberate attempt to deceive and drain my pockets, leaving me feeling utterly cheated.To make matters worse, Seymour's demeanor was that of a deceitful opportunist hiding behind a humble facade. He would greet customers with a disarming smile and speak softly, pretending to understand their concerns and empathize with their predicament. However, behind this disingenuous mask, he had a knack for manipulating situations to his advantage, slyly recommending unnecessary repairs or upgrades just to inflate the bill.The lack of transparency was alarming. Whenever I questioned the exorbitant charges or requested clarification, Seymour would deflect, providing vague and evasive responses. It became apparent that he cared more about maximizing profits than ensuring customer satisfaction.I strongly caution anyone considering using Overall Auto Repair to proceed with extreme caution. Their service is shoddy, their pricing is unjustifiable, and their owner, Seymour, cannot be trusted. Don't be fooled by his pretense of humility; he will exploit every opportunity to take advantage of you financially.My experience with Overall Auto Repair was a complete disaster. Their substandard service, exorbitant prices, and the exploitative nature of Seymour left me feeling betrayed and infuriated. I implore you to find an alternative auto repair shop that values honesty, expertise, and customer satisfaction. Mr Seymour is hard working man. I am used to old school mechanics that test drive cars. And tell customer straight up. Your better off getting another car or let me refer you to a specialist for your transfer case. Cost $2500 including rental car . Bought another car only got $1000 for trade

These folks were LIFESAVERS for us!!Last Saturday we were visiting the Shenandoah area from Northern VA. Our minivan started to run rough, missing, and struggling up the hills.We limped into Front Royal and Goggled all the mechanics in town.This was about 2:30. Eight or so shops were already closed. I called the first three that seemed open, but all went to voice mail.I finally called Overall Auto Repair. Tracy answered right away and her calm, helpful tone put me a little more at ease. We had recently had the ignition coil replaced and thought that might be the cause (similar symptoms).After she told me the initial costs for visual and the diagnostic machine ... she said they would look at it even though they close at 4:00.Within a few minutes of testing, Seymour (owner/technician) told us that was the case, but that the spark plugs ALSO had to be changed. That wasn't done the last time and we now see .. that that brought us back to the same problem.It took about 90 minutes for him to do all the replacements, but the car ran well the rest of the trip and we feel much more confident with it now.Seymour stayed open at least an extra 45 minutes to accommodate us.While waiting, we were able to sit down inside, warmth/heater, good conversation with Tracey, and magazines.The final bill was very reasonable.We left by purchasing a couple Jamaican meat patties. Seymour is from Jamaica.We were delighted with the experience. Thank you.Gratefully, Jeff Parks

I was recommended to visit Overall Auto Shop because I had a knock under my car every time I hit a bump in the road. It was driving me crazy. Went in to have a visual check, the owner took the time to drive my car, come back and took the jack and jacked the car up, got up under it to find out what he thought was the tie-rods, gave us a price and we scheduled for Wednesday to have the work done. After getting the car in the shop and up on the lift he realized that it was not the tire rod it was the sway bar links on both left and right. He fix the problem we went to pick up the the car, paid and I have never been so happy in my life I have drove and the car just so that I could make sure the noise is gone I try to hit bumps in the road and I still don t hear it. Thank you overall Auto for such a wonderful job and not only that .. check the inside out they sell clothing I brought 8 African dresses, which are very comfortable and cheap. I will be a returning customer service to my vehicle also for the clothing inside. I am very pleased with the service that we got from start highly overall where you re vehicle needs, You will not be disappointed and very reasonable..Service: Brake service & repair

Always overbooks and will do a hasty job on your car. Not reliable and will NEVER pick up your call afterwards.0% CredibilityHad the most horrendous experience of my life. A good learning experience that I now know what to stay away from.

The shop is close to HW 66 and the owner is really nice, fair and honest. Great auto repair shop in the Front Royal that also serves customers in Washington DC and Maryland. I got quite a bit of work performed on my car there and I am very happy with the outcome and the price I had to pay. I initially went to the Hyundai car dealership that sold me my car and the price they tried to charge me to fix the below issues that my car was having was outrageous. I also ended up getting my tires changed at Sam's Club and I later found out that Overall Auto Repaid would have charged significantly less for the same tires (including installation). If you need tires, call Overall Auto Repair for a quote because the tire price and installation there is cheaper than that of Costco and Sam's club. I needed a serious repair done on a Saturday because we were leaving town on Sunday. To my amazement, the repair was made within a couple of hours and we felt our car was completely safe to go on a long drive. I brought in a 2016 Ford Focus for a blower motor replacement. Everything seemed normal until they told me that another part had failed, this time it was the climate controller. The parts were paid for and had to wait 4 days to get an update. Then I stopped by the shop in person after work and he said he got it working best he could, he also mentioned that he almost gave up due to the location of the problem. When the labor was paid for, the car was returned with the motor running, but there was a loud rattle coming from the fan. Then about 2 weeks later. I heard a loud thud, and the motor quit working. I took it to another guy, he is telling me that the housing that holds the blower is completely destroyed due to not being put back together properly. It s all going to need to be replaced. Will not be going here ever again and strongly advise against anyone coming here for work.Services: Electrical, Air conditioning

This is the BEST auto mechanic ever!!! When I first used this garage, I was in tight spot financially and had serious issues with my car! He fixed the car quickly and even had his wife drive to multiple parts stores to find the needed part!!
