I am new to the area and very hesitant on trusting mechanics. I walked in trying Joe Sackett and Sons Mechanic Shop. It felt like home!!! They take their knowledge of vehicles very seriously. When I had an issue with my vehicle that I had zero clue what was wrong. They would diagnose it for free before moving forward. I have brought my vehicles back numerous times to them finally up-to-par if not better than it was when I first got them. I think these guys are the most honest mechanics in a 45-mile radius of Front Royal, VA. Also, I asked for recommendations for body work. They told me to take my car to D&A auto body. Wow, solid work that made my car look like a work-of-art. Thank you, Joe Sackett and Sons for the amazing hospitality but more importantly the most amazing confidence in driving my vehicles while I feel safe in them!!!

Great work, great people. My car s alternator went out on a road trip passing through. Got towed to their shop, and they were happy to help. My car was back on the road in a timely manner with a high quality of service provided. They give straight forward advice for whatever questions you may have. If you have any car service needs I highly recommend going to Joe Sackett & Sons. It s one of the best shops I ve been to.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto battery maintenance

*the* shop i trust and recommend when i need to take a vehicle in for work. not sure if it's the exception or the rule here, but there has been an occasion when i was able to find a part for substantially cheaper and faster than their supplier, and they let me use that (still paid for labor). they've treated us with honesty and respect, and we all know good mechanics are hard to find, so we're exceptionally happy with them

We've been going here for years and couldn't be more happy. Every guy is friendly, honest, and professional. Other places you leave and feel that sinking feeling in your stomach "uggh, did I just get played?" Not here! Every time I feel "Man, these guys are the bomb - this is the best town!"

Best pricings I've seen on parts and labor, these guys are super transparent on letting you know what is going on and if it's actually worth fixing. What stood out on them versus other mechanics, I had a chrysler that had issues with power and no mechanic knew what the issue was. These guys knew after a day of looking into that it was an oil pump issue.All in all stellar service, pricings, and the friendliness is unbeatable compared to other places. Also, they are quick on fixing! That is unheard of!!

Was given a 550 dollar estimate for thermostat replacement which takes 1.5 hours Part about 30 dollars Very high hourly rate. Getting done at Charlie's for 150.00 Tuesday . Dealer wanted $700 though

I have to say that the reviews (except for one chucklehead) are spot on! From the time I walked in to the time I picked up my vehicle they were nothing but courteous and professional. The price for my repairs and labor rate were substantially less than other quotes I had received from other locations. Motto here is that good work can be affordable and done by good people!Keep it up!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Nice & honest shop. Fair pricing I scheduled to get my brakes done there. I found that my headlight was out and asked could they put my new bulb in. The whole thing was cheaper than what was estimated and they put my new bulb and no charge. they were really nice and friendly and explained everything. I definitely will be going back here for any of my automotive needs.

Everyone there is nice, friendly, and honest.I took my car to get a recalled part replaced at a mini cooper dealership, they gave me a long list of things I needed to repair or replace. I took my car to Joe's to verify if they were all necessary, and he lead me to my car and showed me the parts of the car that were in fact fine, or not a big deal, such as a tiny oil leak that would probably spring up later anyway and would not actually hurt my car.Sackett and Son's also did not charge me unfairly for the inspection, and also gave a cheap oil change when another repair shop in town tried to charge triple their price because my car is of foreign extraction. Overall an extremely good, dependable business

I like the fact that they maintain a repair history of my car. I appreciate that the shop is small enough to remember me and my vehicles. I appreciate being able to speak to the technician who worked on my car. They do excellent work and have kept my 20- year-old Subaru Outback running well.

One of the best mechanics I've ever had. The work is first rate and it is only work that is necessary. No worries if the the part really needed replacement, if there was a simpler fix or a more economical alternative. They go the extra mile in ensuring the work is done right and the cost is fair. You can trust Joe Sackett & Sons to take good care of you.

My husband and I have used Sackett & sons for about 10 years or longer now our son is a new customer for Sackett and sons. They do a good job and very reasonable prices. Thank you for your service to our automobile. Very nice and friendly staff.

Virginia International Academy has been taking our vehicles to Sackett's for many years and personally I have been taking my vehicles there for even longer. Sackett's always provides great and timely service. They have proven themselves to be trustworthy and honest. I recommend them highly.
