This is the second time I am trying to leave a review for Front Royal Ford Dealership.My experience yesterday at this location was unacceptable. My husband and I were "helped" by a man named Jared Pence who we believe treated us with prejudice and hostility.Let me share part of my experience so that I am able to paint the picture of how my husband and I were treated by Jared.My husband and I drove 2 hours to visit this dealership in hopes of seeing a car we had seen listed online. We were interested in seeing the vehicle and seeing an estimate for the finances. This is when were approached by Jared Pence, a "highly rated" sales and leasing consultant.Jared approached us sternly and carried himself in an unfriendly demeanor that I deem was very unprofessional. His exact words when he first spoke to us was "what do you want?"My husband tried to converse with him about the listed vehicle and had questions about how finances could go if he were to trade in his truck in order to help pay for the listed vehicle.Jared proceeded to create numbers to present to my husband that did not add up. When we confronted Jared about the numbers and asked him to break it down for us he became aggressive. Jared rudely demanded we sign a financing contract he had made up without explaining himself or the numbers he calculated for us.My husband was persistent in asking Jared to please show him how he got to the numbers he was presenting and this is when Jared stormed off on us leaving in the dark.Jared denied us when asked to speak to his manager or anyone else at the dealership.If I could rate my experience at Front Royal Ford Dealership a zero then I would.0/10 would not want anyone else to experience the unprofessionalism we saw when attended to by Jared Pence of Front Royal Ford Dealership.

Great staff and amazing customer service the gentleman that I was dealing with his name is Zach one of the services advisors I cannot say enough good things about Zach his a true gentleman. He was great in each and every step of the way they replaced my transmission on my raptor. I ve been to so many dealerships they couldn t help out. They couldn t find the problem. The second day after I dropped off my truck they found the all of the issues and right away dealt with the warranty company. Thank you all for the great work.

BY FAR the best experience I ve ever had at a car dealership. Brittany was so kind, thoughtful, & helpful. It s hard to go to a dealership and not feel pressured or stressed especially when you have little experience with buying a car. With Brittany I felt zero pressure & I could tell she genuinely listened to my needs & cared about getting me the car I wanted. Cannot be more thankful for her!

Best experience at a dealership, ever! We all know how stressful taking your car in for service can be, especially after being treated horribly by the other Ford dealer in this area, but Laurel, my service advisor, was amazing. Very upfront with me, made the whole process a breeze! Matt, in service, is also an asset to the company, very knowledgeable and really put my mind at ease about my car. Thank you, FRF!!!

I bought a 2023 70th Anniversary Corvette from Front Royal Ford in VA. I live in TX. To say the least this was interesting buy. My salesman, Rodrigo Marino, was excellent! He went above and beyond for me. He was extremely respectful to me every time I talked with him! Tony, Sales manage, also went above and beyond to make this deal go through! There were times I thought the deal was off, and every time Tony/Rodrigo ensured me things were going to alright, and they were! I highly recommend these guys. I wish I was a ford guy. If I was, I'd be back every time to buy from them. Also shout out for Derrick Evans, finance guy, for also making things easy for me. Finally, Patricia Terrazas helped me many times as well.. She was extremely helpful and professional. Can't go wrong with these guys!

I really do wish there was zero stars I've been doing business with them for almost a year and this time has done it I had a oil chance and tires replaced on a truck and my wife was driving down the road and almost lost control with it due to the tires where never touqed down with Manufacture spec they only use torque Sticks, not torque wrenches. After it has been signed off by another person. They never wanted to investigate the problem. And wanted to be put it on my dime Which it can take up to 2 months for a tire to come loose off of a vehicle if it wasn't tighten all the way to spec. The 2 front tires were 40 pounds less than spect in and the 2 rear tires You can take the nuts off by hand. I would never trust Dishonest people on their Neglections and or this place ever again "Pretty much the owner said it's taillight warranty out of here "

This purchase was great. 8 text messages about 6 phone conversations and the car was delivered to NY for $400. The transporter AJ was first class too. I doubt I will ever buy a car in person again. The deal I got for my wife s Christmas present was great. They worked to get it up here before Christmas too. Thanks to the salesman Jeff and his coworkers. Lowest dealer prep fees I have ever seen too. It s a rural dealership making deals all over America doing it right!

Didn't leave my house! My car was picked up about 10:30, taken to Front Royal Ford for new tires, balancing, etc. and returned to me around 2:00. Driver was polite and cheerful. Later, Laura called and said she had had an extra couple of minutes so she put in my information for the $70 rebate - vs me having to figure it out later. Everyone is so friendly there and they go out of their way to make your experience easy.

Matt The Beard was amazing.He made us feel like family. He was able to get us so close to what I thought was an unachievable deal that I simply couldn t pass it up. He is simply the best. Highly recommend him for your future ford needs.Front Royal Ford gets it when trying for their customers in what is a rough market. Honest, upfront and thorough is just a few words I can use to describe them. Highly recommend this place for your future purchases.

The customer service is always spot on when we work with Front Royal Ford. Only complaint I have is that my name wasnt entered correctly into their system but its not that much of a problem. My boyfriend made the deal happen and when our first option wasnt doable, the finance manager made sure to find something that worked well for us, that the car had all the features we were looking for, and was within our budget! I will always go back to this location everytime I need a car upgrade and often refer them to my friends and family members! We have worked with them for more than 5+ years! Awesome people and awesome atmosphere!

In 2016 as Shenandoah Ford, this was a great place to buy a car and get service, and I rated them 5 stars. Now, they re barely worthy of 1 star, and I won t be coming back.I took my 2021 vehicle in for mice inside my dashboard. After being told they would take pictures if I wanted to file an insurance claim, they called me a few days later to say the car was finally done but they forgot pictures, and the final cost was $1,600. When I asked how to prevent this especially since my car is already driven daily and not sitting, they weren t helpful at all.Still, I continued taking my vehicle for service. In October 2023, they said my front brakes were at 6mm and needed to be replaced before my June inspection. I took my vehicle to another local shop and was told my brakes were at 9mm, and they truly couldn t believe a dealer lied about such a verifiable thing like a measurement.It s sad to see what was the best Ford dealership around has gone downhill.

I had an extremely negative experience at the Front Royal Ford service shop.After experiencing some shutter when shifting gears I decided to take my 2014 Ford Fiesta in for a service on January 5, 2024. I was contacted on January 8, 2024 and informed the repairs to the transmission system would amount to $3000. My husband and I then spoke with the service department and were informed that the shocks had significant rust and also needed to be replaced soon. This repair would cost an additional $1500. Concerned by the high price, and by the prospect that it might be better to replace the vehicle, we spent the next few weeks shopping for a new car and seeking a second opinion through a different Ford dealership.We took the car to a second dealership on January 18, 2024, and to our surprise, they came to some very different conclusions. First, it was pointed out to us that the mileage in and mileage out numbers from Front Royal Ford were exactly the same, meaning the car was never test driven to confirm the issue. Second, once it was properly examined, the transmission barely exhibited any of the symptoms we brought it in for and showed no error codes when running the computer diagnostics. It was test driven over the course of three days and the only repair deemed necessary to perform was a reset of the computer controlled clutch system. This completely fixed the problem at less than a 10th of the price. Third, after a thorough inspection the shocks were all deemed perfectly safe without any problematic rust at all.Front Royal Ford charged me a diagnostic fee of $240. A diagnostic that we cannot confirm was ever done. It seems they inflated the initial reports of clutch shudder, claimed the problem was severe without ever having test driven the car, then tacked on an additional charge for rusted shocks which was an outright lie and clear attempt to upcharge us as customers.To say we are unhappy would be an understatement. We are furious at how we were treated. Since the potential bill was so large, and because transmission failure is so common in this vehicle, we asked the service department to apply for goodwill assistance. Supposedly it was denied, but we now have our doubts that they even submitted the paperwork in the first place.Bottom line, Front Royal Ford tried to swindle us and we don t appreciate it. We want a refund in the amount of $240 for a diagnostic that was clearly never performed. You can be sure we will never take our vehicle back to Front Royal Ford for any level of service. We will also be sure to share our experience with all our friends and family.

The Toyota Tacoma I bought came with body damage that I did not see on the day of the delivery. It was low enough on the rear rocker that I only saw it the next day when I looked closely at the tires.Salesman, Jeff, told me that the delivery drivers said that I drove the truck while they were here. That is a lie. Even if I did, there is no way I could have caused the damage in the photos I sent. It looks like parking lot damage. We are in the country here, no parking lots.

We bought two trucks from them in December, and I was very pleased with the whole process. Marco was great to work with, very responsive and helpful. With so many local dealerships being bought out by bigger dealerships, it was nice to work with a local company.

Review comments for Front Royal FordThe Staff at Front Royal Ford are kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They promptly and professionally answered all of the questions I had about the service needed for my Ford. It was clear there were several other vehicles being serviced when I arrived in the Service area but they still quickly took care of my vehicle. The Quick Service that is available is so helpful for relatively small but important service needed to keep my vehicle running perfectly. From a customer's point of view, one characteristic that was immediately noticeable and impressive at Front Royal Ford is how CLEAN all of the areas are where customers either interact with staff or areas for customer care, such as the waiting room, beverage station and bathroom. I am truly grateful I can count on great care for my Ford from Front Royal Ford.The Ford motor company needs to continue to provide a good work environment and compensation for all employees as well as honest care and service for customers and their vehicles.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. My husband purchased a truck on 2/22/24 they delivered the truck up to him in New York. It showed up with a check engine light on, so before signing the papers he called the sales manger. He said hang on let me walk over to the shop manager. He heard in the background oh it came back on and then tells him they would take care of the cost bring it to your local dealer. Truck has been at the dealer in New York since 2/23/24, and my husband has still have not received a call back from management, he calls everyday and they claim the manager is on a conference call or he s with a customer or he s at auction just completely avoiding my husbands calls. This is just completely upsetting that a dealer would do this! So now we are stuck paying out of pocket for a truck that he has yet to put any miles on!!! Honestly just upsetting, I do not recommend this dealership they do not stand by their word and are not honest. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!

We experienced an engine problem while on the road to a horse show, and had the good fortune to do so a stone's throw from Front Royal Ford. Not only were the guys in the Shop able to fix it - including using a piece from one gentleman's own personal vehicle - they did so with great urgency, as it was a hot day and we had horses on the trailer. They couldn't have been nicer, and got us back on the road quickly. By the way, we had an incredible horse show and won a ton of big things! Thank you, Front Royal Ford!

If you're coming here make sure you triple check everything they promise you. Do not spend a penny more than what was promised.My dad purchased a 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid here. Over the phone he was told that they would honor a price of MSRP + tax,tag, and processing fee. When he showed up they wasted hours of his time trying to convince him to pay a "market adjustment" of ~$1600. Eventually, they relented and sold him the vehicle for the original price, but that left a really bad taste.

Rodrigo made this process very simple. I live around 2 hours away so most of the process was agreed prior to my arrival. This was the easiest transaction I ever had at a car dealership. Oh and they lowered the asking price AND mailed my plates to me cause I live a bit away, great work!

Went in to look at a new truck. Salesman Rodrigo Bernabeu was awesome very friendly and not pushy. Was a very pleasant experience to buy my new truck from them. Most dealerships just keep pushing. A young salesman learning and done a great job. Go in and ask for him he s there for you.

I would look elsewhere for a car. My wife and I bought a 2022 Subaru Outback from this dealership.We live in Richmond but this is on the way to my in-laws. We went down to look at the car right after Christmas and didn't buy it that day (still saving up the downpayment and browsing for a good fit for us).We came back around when the price had been lowered around $3k two weeks later. When I called the dealership they put me in touch with the salesperson that I had worked with originally. Instead of quoting me the new price he tried to quote me the price that it was when we had first looked at it. When I called him out on it he said he would call me back.Over an hour later, I called the dealership as I had not heard from the salesperson. I eventually got a manager that offered me the listed price but took off $800 from the original trade-in value. I should have ran away there but it was still a good value.Went up to buy the car the next day. Went through my credit union for financing but they still charged a $899 financing fee. They tacked on a Pre-delivery Inspection (a bogus fee for a used car) and messed up processing my loan forgetting to put in the $5,000 I was using as a down payment. After making the mistake the finanace person tried to make a joke of it joking that it was "their car now" after I had signed the paperwork.Just an overall exhausting and negative experience. Only putting it at two because of the competitive pricing. I don't want to name names for the people I worked with as they are just part of the system but I will never use this dealership again. Going to remove all trace of them from my car (plate border and sticker) as soon as possible.

Feb 2024:Hey I wanted to give an another update. My transmission is now done. Front Royal Ford never even called me back. I'm not the type of person to go after someone but the little guys after you Rront Royal Ford.*****final update****12.30.2023My truck is finally fixed. Over $4,000 dollars later, rental cars, lost time for work. Y all ready to hear what it was? Was it the TCM? It was not. Turns out it was a damaged transmission harness range sensor. Just think if someone would have just done an in-depth visual inspection that could have been found back on 11.28.-11.29.2023. I reached out to the number provided and they said they would get back to me, it s been weeks, no return call, no apology, nothing. I realize there isn t much I can probably do but I m only going to get louder about this. I want some form of financial reimbursement. I m taking this to the next level if you all don t return my call.****update**** 12.28.2023****My truck is still not fixed. I responded to there request to call them. They said, will call you back never called me back. I had another mechanic replace the TCM. That was not the issue. Front royal ford misdiagnosed the issue. Mind you I paid for that misdiagnosis. The mechanic is still trying to figure out what Front royal Ford did. Y all have made my life extremely difficult. I ve lost thousands of dollars because of this. I just want my money back.I ve waited some time to leave this review but I felt now was the time. I ve calmed down and thought about it. . On 11/14/2023 the following was done on my truck1. Oil change2. Transmission flush3. Replacement of o2 sensor4. Replacement of LF inner and outer toe rods5. Front brake pads and resurfaced rotors6. Replacement of rear brake pads.7. GDI induction service8. Brake flush9. Replacement of engine air filterAll this was completed without speaking with me about what the total cost would be. It was a wapping $3,037.13I asked for an oil change and trans flush. Looking back on my 7hr day sitting and walking around as I waited for ford to complete the service, I guess I should have taken the time to ask what all they were doing. I guess I had too much trust. When they finally called me up and gave me the total due it was a gut check. What was I suppose to do? They did the work so I had to pay. Here s where the issues begin: I drove the truck for 2 weeks and it ran great, no problems. Yeah I was 3k in the hole but hey I have a job and a working truck. 2 weeks to the day the truck completely shut down, all the warning lights were on and it would not turn over. I had it towed back to ford. 24 hrs later they diagnosed the issue as a bad TCM (transmission control module) They said it would be $800+ to fix and the part is out of stock so no eta to fix. I was pretty calm about this and asked, I mean I paid 3k for work and then 2 weeks later this happens . I ll never forget the guys response, well it has 190k miles on it, what did you expect. . Of course nothing they did had anything to do with the TCM going bad literally 2 weeks after the extensive service done. It gets better, then they charged me $160.00 for a diagnostic to determine the TCM. Then held my truck hostage until I paid that. I WILL NEVER take my vehicle here ever again. Thank goodness for local reasonable and honest mechanics. Yes the TCM is on back order and alot of fords are down right now. I don t fault any mechanic for that but come on Front Royal Ford, when someone spends the kind of money at-least provide a little better customer service or stand behind your work. If it were possible to sue these folks I would. Did I mention I ve lost all trust in Ford dealerships? This experience has caused me to never want take my truck into any ford dealership. End of the day, you got me front Royal Ford but I learned a valuable lesson.

Went in today looking for a used f150. Didn t close a deal but I have to say rodrigo and his manager were not pushy and more than accommodating and understanding. One of the cleanest and friendliest dealerships around. Hoping to do business with them in the near future.

I went in there on Saturday and purchased a brand new car for my wife. It was so easy I ve I ve dealt with Tony if anybody is in the interest of buying a new car, I highly recommend going in and speaking with Tony I was in an out within an hour and a half from looking at my car, that s driving my car in the finance very easy not like anybody else they did not give me a runaround and they gave me top dollar for my trade I highly recommend front royal ford good job Royal Ford. Travelled 200 miles to buy specific used $72,000 auto on lot. Attempted to charge bogus destination fees annd attempted several other financing tactics to increase profit on auto. Title transfer non existent taking more than 45 days now.Bblamed on other parties. Just a sloppy predatory auto dealership. Look elsewhere for good customer service! Derek Evans financing manager not supportive of his team, tools or customer relationships.
