While in the process of purchasing a vehicle in Oct 21 no salesperson attempted to assist me, those not involved in customer care were out smoking by the entrance. I entered the showroom and no one showed any interest, someone finally asked if I needed help and I said "I want to buy a car" and only one sales person came to assist. When we decided on a vehicle the salesperson did the back and forth with the "manager" as expected. When I asked what financing options they had after running my credit they stated Toyota financing. I'm considered Tier 1 credit with a very high credit score. When I asked for other options the "manger" wouldn't provide anything besides Toyota financing. After about 45 minutes of asking for other financing options my bank notifies me of 2 credit alerts for credit request. I look and the "manager"did a credit run for two specific high rate (14-16%) loan providers. We ended up purchasing a vehicle, since it was my daughter's graduation gift, ONLY because of the salesperson. I will never do business with this dealership, but I would work with the salesperson again only if he worked at another dealership. Not sure what kind of bonus the "manager" gets for pushing Toyota Financing, but he was not willing to assist in any other financing options. 2 stars only because of the Salesperson. Side note: Big banner that says they wouldmeet or exceed any outside appraisal. When I didn't like their appraisal on my trade in I said I will go down the road a few miles and get one from CarMax since I wouldn't have to wait too long for the appraisal. They said if it's higher than what they are offering the "manager" will tell you to just sell it to them. I said that not what your advertisement says and there is no disclosure statement either. They just shrugged their shoulders and said that how it is.

If you are looking for honesty when having your vehicle serviced, this is NOT THE PLACE!!! I ve been there twice in the past 3 months for different issues and was lied to by the guys at the service desk. Do NOT trust what they say and ask plenty questions. I will never go back to this dealership for my car service. When they lie to you and get caught, they try to cover each other s back. Also I believe they treat women differently. This has been my experience! Terrible service. They don t respond to service complaints!

Not long wait times and they are always open for appointments. They also don't pressure extra stuff which is nice. If you want to skip a service...they may advise against it but they don't push it.

***THIS IS A REVIEW IN PROGRESS*** After a great sales experience this past Summer, and leaving a 5 star review regarding the Toyota product and the Dealership in general, I am beginning to re-think my rating and the experience. within 1 month of owning the Tacoma somebody hit the rear bumper in a shopping center parking lot and it's all plastic! It broke up so badly and was such an eye-sore, I can only imagine the amount of damage the truck would sustain if we were ever rear-ended on the highway. So I installed an after-market, all-steel bumper. Everything was good until this past weekend when we discovered, and not through any trouble lights on the dash either - that we have no running lights on the back of the truck! I know they worked after the bumper was installed because the tag light had to be changed with the bumper and I checked it after installation. So I made an appt with the dealer of 0800 this morning. After hearing nothing by 11:30 I called and had to leave a message. After not receiving a call-back I called again at 13:30 and spoke with "my service advisor" who said they "tech" had determined that the tag light splice (it is not spliced, by the way) was the issue, and that I should take the truck back to whomever installed the bumper and they should fix it for free. After some back and forth he said he would go back and talk to the tech and call me back in 15 minutes. it is now after 1500 and he has not called me back...

Called to advise me my car is due for service. Then I asked about a issue with the car and they said they would have someone from customer service about the concern and still no call back. That was 4 days ago... ugg

We're a Toyota family through and through. After trading a Chrysler Town and Country littered with problems for their Sienna that never once required service, we never looked back. Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg has assisted us with a new 2020 Camry, 2021 Corolla, and 2023 Hybrid Highlander. All of which have been amazing vehicles. The service center is super easy to deal with. Just make an appointment online, drive it in, and wait in their lobby, which has TV, wifi, and plenty of free coffee and water. I have always had pleasant experience here. The only negative is getting the itch to walk around and look their inventory:)

My appointment time was 4:00pm. I arrived at 3:50. It wasn t until 4:20 that I got checked in. At 5:30 I checked to see if my truck was even brought back yet. It was not. I asked the service attendant why my vehicle was not even taken back yet. He responded by saying it should get brought back here soon, hopefully. Even though I had an appointment at 4 PM it was still over an hour and my truck was not brought back yet. Therefore; I asked for the service manager. After speaking with him, he also informed me hopefully it will be done in a half an hour . I then sat back in the waiting room and started looking at reviews on Google. There, I found several one star reviews stating everything that happened to me. It seems that people will show up a little early for their appointment to get checked in but still wait in on excusable amount of time. The service attendant also said several times I have too much stuff going on at one time . I find myself to be an extremely patient person, but it is evident that the service department at this location needs some reconstruction on their management/ customer service.Service: Oil change

Very possible they could be prejudiced against certain members of the community. Spoke with a gentleman about purchasing a new car back in May. Was told that no new vehicles would be available until mid July. Salesman suggested that I make no deposit or attempt to purchase the vehicle until closer to the arrival of the cars on the lot. He also told me that he couldn't give me any info on financing since he didn't know what the rates would be or the type of programs the company might have available at that time. So I waited, corresponding with the guy for two months about the vehicle. Well, we're coming up on mid July so I go in to finalize the arrangements and get an actual delivery date on the vehicle. But during the conversation he happened to let it slip that the vehicle we'd been discussing, he'd sold to somebody else two days after he'd talked to me back in May. Well I was upset, not angry because he sold the vehicle (everybody has the right to make a living), but because of his unscrupulous behavior; letting me believe all this time that l was getting the car when he knew it was already gone. To make matters worse, he then tells me that if I put some money down and wait until the end of August, then maybe I could get one at that time. Well, I guess it's too bad for the company! My waiting days are over. If they don't want my money I'll just give it to somebody else.

Tyler was very helpful. I had my oil changed the day before coming here at a Valvoline and the next morning my check engine and service lights on my dash were on. I was due for a state inspection so I called the same day 5/1 and they were able to get me in at Sheehy. They checked the engine and found that the hoses had been disconnected and put back incorrectly. Tyler explained what this meant so that I could understand and they did it all for free (other than the state inspection). It s so important to be able to trust the people who are working on your vehicle when you don t know anything about the mechanics of cars so that you don t get taken advantage of, I highly suggest getting your vehicle serviced or purchasing a vehicle here.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

I hesitate to put 4 stars but I ll tell you why Service is wonderful. The associates are very nice and efficient. If you need a ride locally, they will gladly assist. The only reason they didn t get 5 stars is because I had a small issue with a latch that had fallen into its crevice. They quoted $360 to fish it out. I declined, came home, googled a solution and fixed it in under 5 minutes. Trust is a big concern of mine which is why I almost wanted to do 3 stars. Either way, we will continue to do business with them for sure!

Don t recommend using them for service. Had a few experiences now with pretty shady things happening. First time we took my wife s car there for an oil change after we had bought it used elsewhere, we were told there was a service plan purchased by the previous owners (that we weren t even aware of) and that oil changes and tire rotations would be covered for the next 2 or 3. Next time we took it there, they told us they wouldn t honor the service plan, even though they re the ones that even told us it existed. Third time we brought it there for just an oil change and they tried to charge us for some sort of oil additive claiming we selected a 30,000 mile service which we did not. the next time we went was just a couple weeks ago. We made sure when dropping it off the night before to select oil change only on the folder and even wrote it in. We were surprised when they sent the invoice to us that the oil change costs $107 vs the usual $60 or so. After calling and them speaking with the service manager, we were told that the service technician added an engine air filter (which we had replaced ourselves only a few weeks prior) in and they couldn t explain why. More concerning about this was that it didn t clearly list that charge, it was listed under the oil change as part of the parts and labor. Very shady trying to take advantage of my wife. Will never be back again as a customer for their sales or service.Service: Oil change

11 o'clock appointment almost 3 hours and still waiting. When appointment was scheduled they acted like it was wide open. Can't do this anymore. On the positive side. I met Lloyd in Parts department. I had a terrible buying experience here, but managenent turned that around in the end. H. "Wilton" Fernandes had me waiting for 2 hours to negotiate a sale. During which time, I watched him working with multiple customers. He even came out at one point with a plate of food...finally I got in a room with a finance rep, Kate, who unfortunately got the brunt of my frustration. However, she rectified the situation immediately and called a manager over. Chris, the manager, listened to my complaints and promptly issued me a discount. We closed the deal. Chris and Kate, with some assistance from Sage, were great. Be weary of the individual mentioned above.

Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg has fast and knowledgeable service. No matter how big or small the reason for your visit, they make you feel important and make sure your experience is a great one. Lloyd in parts, has the expertise and patience you are looking for in customer care. He was personable and engaging, even at an early hour. The last time I brought my car in for service I waited. For a simple oil and filter change it took over 5 hours. I waited in a crowded area, not prepared for infection prevention, with most furnishings cloth and unable to be properly disinfected. No safe place to sit away from other people. One man was walking around coughing and sneezing. I vowed to never wait there again for my health and safety. This time, simple oil and filter change. My wife and I brought our cars together at 8am for our appointments. I told them I was dropping the car off, but I needed it as soon as they could finish because I had an early appointment. We came back at 9am when my wife's car was ready. My car hadn't even been taken for service. I had to wait once again in that unhealthy, crowded waiting area with no safe place to sit. I would have waited outside but it was 32 degrees. Was I being discriminated against because I wasn't going to wait onsite? Or because I wasn't cute like my wife? Or because I have free for life oil and filter changes that don't make them money? Either way, I would not buy another vehicle from Sheehy and I definitely don't recommend their service department unless you like living on the edge, trying to see if you can get sick in their waiting area.Service: Oil change

So my battery died in my car thinking it would take it day. Now am going on day 3 now 4 almost 5 still haven t gotten my car back. Now am stuck paying $42 for the car rental when I want my car back on Saturday. Never got call back from Josh the manager of service department. I was told it be done on Saturday so I guess that was a lie. Yet they where able to do a walk in for different car which I say on review that day but yet can t get a battery in my car because that take 4 and come Monday going on 5 days. I think I will be taking my car else for now on for repair work.Service: Battery

I came in prepared for a bit of a wait because I know it can takes some time, but honestly any place that takes 3 hours to do an oil change when I had an appointment is a little ridiculous. I sat in an almost empty lobby for one of those hours so in reality it s probably shouldn t have taken 3 hours. Be prepared for a wait or make sure you have a ride if you bring anything here for anything.Service: Oil change

I Purchased my car two years ago from here. Everything was easy from the start and our sales person was nice, but my mom was with me that day and also looking for a car. The SECOND my paperwork was finalized , he took no time in trying to get my mom to buy another car. It really rubbed me the wrong way. I know it s business , but I felt really brushed off. Also, the service advisor I spoke to a few months ago about replacing my back seat was super rude. I don t know much about cars , so I didn t have an exact anwser for all his questions and he really didn t like that. Sadly I wouldn t recommend this place. Spend the extra money in gas and go to Sheehy in Stafford or the one in Richmond

I had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation, I also have the VIP plan. I waited 2 and half hours for this to be done! While driving back home, my check oil light came on. They paid to get my car towed back in and my car was a quart low on oil! Will not be returning to this location for service again!Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

Terrible experience with the service department. Whatever you do never purchase a service package from here. They will go out of their way to make sure you end up with the bill for any service or repair they define as not covered under warrenty. Edwin was extremely rude to me and my father and had no issue mispronouncing our last name across the waiting area. He even had the gall to insult me for wearing a mask even though I was undergoing chemotherapy and had a comprised immune system. Then Edwin asked to hold my phone while it was unlocked. When I refused he acted as if I was behaving strange. I honestly think they are trying to run people off because they've failed to turn a profit out of their service center. The battery pack in the prius we brought in needed replacing but instead of fixing the car they just reset the hybrid system and told us it was fixed. We have error codes from a reading at auto zone that shows replace ev battery pack. They said they got no codes on the last day of the warrenty just so they could avoid paying the cost. We will never buy from toyota again after this. If they can't afford to provide the service and coverage for repairs covered under the service package they have no business offering it in the first place. It's just a scam.
