Had tire changed today and state inspection done on truck today. Had a promotional on the tires with buy 3 and get the fourth one free which is absolutely great. The customer service was great and very friendly. I would recommend this mechanic shop for all your automotive needs.

Best service center in fredericksburg. Excellent customer service. Was treated politely and respectfully. A full diagnostics is ran on my vehicle and they let me know if there are any areas of concern. The staff is fantastic. Will definitely be back for all my vehicle needs!

Michelle was AWESOME!! Very patient in explaining everything to me throughout my stay. She offered drinks and made sure I was comfortable in the waiting area. I appreciate her and will definitely be returning!

I had a great experience with this Midas Car Shop. Brian and his team did an awesome job replacing a performance muffler that was way too loud. I called them in the morning and brought my truck in and in about 2 1/2 hours I was on my way. There mechanic, Hunter, did a great job! They are professional, honest and best of all, my final price came in $100.00 less than their estimate. They are locally owned and operated, and my new one stop shop for auto service. THANKS!!!

I was concerned about the noise my car was making and what the expense might be but my worries were immediately relieved by the friendly attentive front desk person Michele Maxey. Her team looked my car over and explained everything and gave me my choices. I would highly recommend them for experienced service and great care for people with a budget.

Failed my sons car for rear brake shoes, never took any of the wheels off and oil on the power steering belt which was belt conditioner on a brand new belt and pump. They seem to try to take advantage of younger clients. Inspector was Hunter. Avoid this shop. All of the work took a total of 15 minutes. Still counting the time I'm wasting because there incompetent.

I love this Midas location. Honest, friendly, skilled, a perfect trifecta.I put my car in for needed repairs and asked for a full run down of the whole car, estimate for what is not working plus estimates for many other things I will want done.They worked with me too determine what was priority and get as much done within my budget as possible.Then they exceeded expectations by cleaning the part that looked like it needed replacement, which resolved 3 issues and eliminated buying 2 expensive parts, bringing the work I authorized to HALF!!! the expected cost. I then added some of the things that weren't priority and the bill still came in lower than the original plan.This is not the first time Midas Spotsylvania has turned out work for less than I expected. Excellent service is a habit here. Even when the work must be done, the pricing is better than other places I have looked into, and the staff is more friendly and courteous.Did I mention that I love this location?

Michelle Maxey of Midas on Patriot Hey in Fredericksburg, VA: Words can t express how amazing this woman treated me when I came into the Midas she and her husband manage. Got a nail in my tire but also discovered my tires had no tread. She explained everything and was truly on my team dealing with the company I recently bought the car from and the insurance company I bought tire coverage with. Nobody wants to pay or admit the tires shouldnt be bologna skins 5 months after buying the car. Thank you Michelle!!! I ll never go anywhere else. Called to see if they could fit me in for a state inspection. Told me they could in an hour and I got there and they were ready. Nice waiting room with TV and myriad of phone charges and WiFi. Polite and honest. I have been there for lights, brakes, muffler etc and they have never tried to sell me something I didn t need.

I was looking for a new shop for a hot sec and I found it. Most places I went to were very rude and too busy to help me for days. But this place was fast and understanding and nice. Especially the lady that works at the desk

Would not recommendTook my car for inspection-they kinda find that my suspension is a bit lose and quoted me with 1300 and they would have get it done in 1hMoney trap-nothing was wrong with my car.Make sure you dont go there for inspection

Went to go get an inspection done. They had my car pulled in for almost an hour. I got told that fog lights have to work in order to pass inspection, but when you look it up it says that fog lights are optional and can be turned off manually, so not necessary. I had a dime-size crack from a rock on the left corner of my windshield, and when I got back in it, it is twice the size of what it was originally. They also said that my tag light and "marker" lights were blown and needed to be replaced, when I came in with all my lights working. Trust me, I made sure. There were only 3 things actually wrong with the vehicle. This place has lost its value, and only care about trying to squeeze as much money from people as they can. They did the same thing to my friend, and I stupidly ignored the warning. Will never be coming back to this location.

I have had nothing but the best service from this Midas. I have been taking my SUV here for almost a year now, & now a truck we recently purchased. The staff is always friendly, they aren t pushy at all with trying to upsell you other than what you ve come in for. They keep you updated, & will quickly let you know if they run into other problems. I appreciate their honesty & even recommendations for a body shop that can assist us on some rusting. I highly recommend them, & will continue to do business here.Service: Oil change

Little place was clean, have a coffee station for guests. Some magazines to read. Nice AC. Pretty fast oil change. Went there coz I saw a oil change special on their website but then they said I had to use SYN oil instead and price was not the same as they told me when I paid. I asked they said sometimes you car may require more oil or something. But I don t think my little car required that much different attention. Of course they want to ask you to change more stuff while I was there, air filter dirty But I said next time. Over all it was not a bad experience but the price was different and they didn t tell me before I start the service so I probably don t want to go back just for this reason.

Exhaust kept failing inspection. Decided to bite the bullet and get it done. Jason did an amazing job! He was equally as perfectionist as I would be. Did exactly what I wanted done and car passed inspection no problem...plus now I have the exhaust setup that I want. Lyndsey at the front desk was exceptional, kind, friendly, professional. I use them every time I need anything done to my vehicle! I love coming in and talking with Lyndsey about my vehicle needs, and she is always super helpful explaining what needs to be done or what we can hold off on. We all know times are tough right now. I really enjoyed my visit to this Midas. Seeing all the pictures of my car, the recommendations from miss Lyndsey, the quick service, I am satisfied! The guys in the back do a solid job and miss Lyndsey is pleasant to talk to, no pressure and no upsales. Even if it took a while longer to finish my oil change, I would still come here every time. I went to Midas with a Service Engine light on that was isolated to Emissions. Midas told me they had to replace the Catalytic Converter with a "Direct Fit" Catalytic Converter. I had the job done and paid $1200 for it. I did not get a mile down the road before the service engine light came back on. They put a second catalytic converter on, but this time, they told me they had to replace the O2 sensors, so I had to have those replaced. Service Engine light came right back on. Then, they had me sign paperwork saying that they had done the catalytic converter twice and the codes were showing that the fuel system for my 2014 GMC truck needed to be replaced. I did not see how an entire fuel system would have to be replaced for a truck that works great except for emissions. So I contacted OnStar for a diagnostic and they said it was the emissions only. Then I went to a different mechanic who said the code was emissions as well and told me that Midas did not install the "Direct Fit" catalytic converter using the clamps, they cut and MODIFIED my system and welded it in place. Also, they did not use the catalytic converter that was made for my engine. My engine had a California number on it, so it needed an upgraded catalytic converter. Now, I still have a service engine light on, the truck is making the same noise it did before the work started the second time and has a leak, so now I have to have the work redone to replace the entire muffler line along with replacing the catalytic converter again to the correct one by a different mechanic. And then I will have to have my lawyer sue Midas to help pay for the cost. Worst experience - do not recommend going to Midas for muffler or emissions work.
