Had a great experience with this shop. Owner is very helpful and reliable. Got my sunroof replaced and was $2,000 less than what the dealership quoted me for. Also, the turnaround time was much quicker than I anticipated. They contacted me vice the other way around to provide status updates on the job. Have a couple more things to get replaced and will be coming back to them for any car needs.

My family and I were an hour into our roadtrip to Pennsylvania when the front brakes of our van locked up. We called Hot Wheels and asked if they had an opening for us to have our brakes looked at. They said they would have a look and I managed to limp the van there. When we told them that we were on a 6-hour trip with our toddler, they prioritized us, did a full front brake system replacement at a competitive price, and got us back on the road in a few hours. We got where we were going a little bit later as opposed to not at all, thanks to them. They took care of us, did not take advantage of our situation, and were friendly and welcoming.If you ever need automotive work done in Fredericksburg, this is the place to go! The only reason I gave them five stars is because I can't give them more!Surf Wisely.

Had our 1995 Mercedes Benz E320 serviced here due to it being the previous location of Shackleford's Garage that specialized in German automobiles. We specifically requested them go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and make a detailed list of items that needed to be repaired since it had been two years since it had been in a shop for real repairs. Now that we have the car back, we learned that the ball joint boots were completely torn and the joint itself rusted. This is one of the first items to be checked during an inspection when any car rolls into a shop, so we are unsure how that was missed.They did complete some services for us but another issue was that we wanted the exhaust system repaired because it was leaking. We requested replacement of the catalytic convertor because it looked significantly worn.Only when we went to pick up the vehicle did the owner clarify that the leak was actually coming from a different place in the exhaust but didn't tell us until then but still proceeded with the initial request to replace a part that apparently wasn't an issue.As a side note and not as important as their work done. Their invoice system is not the prettiest thing in the world and remains hard to read and outdated. It is a standard program for that some auto shops use still today but I don't understand why it is still commonly used since there are so many better looking invoice systems that exist in today's technology filled market.Looking forward to their shop to continue to improve their services to customers. I'm sure this wasn't a common occurrence, but clearly some adjustments can be made to improve the experience.EDIT: Lowered to two stars. Just took our E320 in for subsequent work and this shop brought me in to review the previous work that was done to the exhaust system has to be entirely cut off due to how bad the job was done and is going from a $150 job to over $1,000 job to re-do the entire system.Services: Exhaust, Auto power window repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change
