I live in MD but this place was worth the travel. I was looking for a certain type of tire and Discount Tire was the only place that had them for a reasonable price. With 495 traffic always crazy on any given day I left out at what I thought was an early time but nope, was still delayed. I did the courteous thing and called to let them know that I was in traffic but on the way! Travis answered told me it wouldn't be a problem and to arrive safely. Close to 35 minutes later I did. Travis met me at my car gathered his information asked if I needed help with anything, I gave him my key and headed to get something to eat( assuming because I was late I would be waiting a little while-nope) mid way through my meal I received a text saying my car was ready it had only been roughly 45 to an hour and new wipers installed(very reasonable price). WOW! Great experience! Will definitely be back for future purchases.Just one thing- I would have been nice if the techs could have gone a little further and actually put the spare back instead of just throwing it in the truck on top of the few things that were removable, being as though those things were removed to get my tire out Atmosphere/experience Staff Service Tires

Fantastic experience from start to finish. John was extremely polite and informative, helpful without being pushy on sales. Clearly explained what my options were, even offered to match price on where I'd normally get tires (Costco). Service tech came out to keep me informed of his progress, totally unexpected but a nice surprise. Was in-and-out in about an hour for 4 tires even on a busy day. I'll definitely shop here again!

Costumer service was expectational. Job was done quickly & efficiently & I watched the whole process of my car getting done. would recommend ordering your rims & scheduling your appointment online for faster service. Definitely recommend to anyone & would go back for another service myself in the future.

Amazing how friendly, professional, & knowledgeable the staff are at this place. We had a run flat tire that needed to be replaced on our trip down to Myrtle Beach. They had the tire, replaced it, & had us on our way in no time. Price was nearly half what I would have paid in our hometown of NJ.

Amazing branch of an amazing business! All staff are super courteous and helpful; John was very helpful and knowledgeable; The whole process was complete within one hour! The staff is always smiling and happy; Overall, one of the best businesses nationwide! Thank you Discount Tire for the amazing care and commitment. You got a customer for life. Highly recommended to all friends and family.

So, I will make this short. This crew at the Fredericksburg location is nothing more than amazing. They did make a mistake and they were nothing but professional and more than willing to make it right plus more. I will not go in details, but it takes a lot for me to write a review about something negative or positive of a store. However, I will call out the main personnel that made my experience great. Eric, Tristan, Travis and Anthony. Due to their customer service will never go to another tire store while I live in the NOVA area.

Exceptional customer service and fast, efficient work! I normally drop off my car for any type of service, but due to their speedy service, I actually waited and was able to observe the work being done. Assistant Manager, Tristan, was very helpful and patient with me as I frantically searched for my wheel lock key. I never found it, but they were able to remove all lug nuts without any damage. I will definitely use their services again!

Got tires put on my Chevy Equinox today and this was my first time using Discount Tire Center and it was a pleasure working with them. Very professional, very pleasant employees from the front and the back of the shop! Very clean and nice waiting area. Made an appt online and from start to finish I waited an hour tops! Got constant updates on the timeline of my cars tire installation! Would highly recommend & would be a returning customer!

I have patronage this company on three separate occasions most recently today to get a screw removed from my tire. I arrived 10 minutes before closing with no appointment and not only did they service me but it was in record time and they didn't even charge me. Everytime I have needed their service it has been a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Discount Tire.

I have been using discount tire for my last couple of purchases and they are great to deal with. My most recent experience involved tires that i was not satisfied with the manager john swapped out my tires to a better brand i cant say enough good things about them . Very trustworthy and efficient

Travis from the Fredericksburg, VA assisted me and he was extremely helpful. He seemed to care about providing me the best outcome and service possible. Few people are as thoughtful and caring. I m thankful for Travis attitude and service. I m also appreciative of the service I ve commonly received from Discount Tire stores across the country.

Thank you to Jacob and Travis from the first phone call till the job was done. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and transparent. The whole staff was very nice and hospitable. Fastest place ever getting my box truck wheels and tires mounted with the Quality!! Highly recommend!

Had great assistance by Tristan. Told all of the things I needed to know about my tire as well as wind shields. It didn t take long either with me getting my service done. My car is feeling with them too!

On the road and got a flat. These guys were incredibly helpful and had us back on the road within an hour. Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere and helpful personnel.Thanks a bunch for getting us rolling again, so we could make it home without any additional mishaps.Both my friend and I have been customers for years and will continue to give them our business!

Quick and thorough work. Went in due to a punctured tire was in and out in under 35 minutes. Let us know we should replace our other tires soon, but not pushy on the subject. Definitely recommend!

***Amended There was an error in an order I recently made with the company. It wasn't a fatal error. The store manager Erik went well ABOVE and BEYOND to correct the error. It is a pleasure working with the team on Plank Road. They had already earned my loyalty BEFORE the ordering problem. But recently they earned my respect. Thank you for your managing style. It is unique in today's market of forgotten customer service.Clean and courteous. The have fast and friendly service. Staff is respectful and they practice social distancing with respect to customers.

This is the second time I have been to this store. Customer service has been great. Prices are competitive and so far I have not had an issue with any work done. Also my wait times have been 40 minutes or less with an appointment. I'm very pleased.

Very professional excellent service. Had a balance issue with a set of wheels and tires I bought from them. Came in on a busy Saturday morning and they had me in and out in and out quick. Only tire shop to use in Fredericksburg.

Hey everyone, I enjoyed buying tires from these guys. After looking fir over two months, I was on RT3 when I saw Discount Tire. I pulled in, walked inside & in within a minute I was talking to an employee, I told him what I was looking to buy & within 10 mins I had picked out my tires. A set of Cooper tires 285/75/16 Evolution M/Ts. I even received a life of the trie warranty from DT, if one or all get punctures or damaged, Discount Tire will replace them, now that s a deal.. What was also awesome about buying tires at DT was that within a hour after pulling into the store I was driving out & if I didn t like the tires, I could take them back & exchange them for something else & anytime up to 30 days of purchase.. This set of tires look great on my 4Runner.! Now I had put spacers on the 4Runner & once I got them shipped to me, I stopped at Discount Tire & they put them on & at no more cost.! I was told to come back after 100 miles & they would re-torque them & they did.. In times as now, it s great to find a deal & great service & I ve never been to a place that was so enjoyable to buy tires. I Love the tires & I ll be surely back! All I can say is WOW. This was my second experience at this specific Discount Tire and it s very rare when the service gets better! Every single team member including the manager was super knowledgeable and helpful. They took their time with each customer and made sure to let the folks waiting that they would be right with them. They explained why they recommended the specific tires they did and even made sure to be cognizant of the budget.

I have a honda civic and live in an area that has had multiple wheel thefts. The cars would be left on bricks with all 4 tires missing. This is why I never keep my wheel lock key in the car. I had completely forgotten to put it back in the glove box and dropped off my car. That is my fault. However, instead of waiting for a response from me and not working on the car, they decided to manually remove the wheel locks from my car, which destroys them, and put normal wheel nuts on.After receiving their voicemail, I called and apologized and explained why I do not keep the key in my car, with full intentions to reschedule. When I was informed that they decided to just work on it anyways, I expressed my dissatisfaction about how they handled the situation and how I cannot be without wheel locks because of the area I live in.I requested that they replace the lock nuts back with the Honda OEM lock nuts. They said they would contact the Honda dealership close by to order them for me. So far, I was very thankful that they were working with me on this.Weeks later, they called saying they had them in. They put them on for me and gave me the key ... only for me to see that the lock nuts were Gorilla brand. They never told me they were going to order a different brand. I had specifically requested Honda OEM wheel locks because that is what was on my car. The new ones stick out and look clunky compared to the other wheel nuts. I gave up because I did not want to waste more time and take more time out of work. I will probably budget to order the OEM ones and ask another servicer to install them for me.Vehicles are a person's property. Please remember this before making assumptions. I considered my experience with Discount Tire unprofessional and would not recommend it.

Like the previous reviewer, I am also very picky. The customer service is really second-to-none, exceptional! I am happy with the whole process except for one thing... They don't do alignments...!!!??? I cannot figure out how you can sell tires but not do alignments.... anyways everything worked out great, pricing and service was super, just bummed they don't do allignments.

Absolute carelesness by some techs. I have come here at least 3 times in the last few years and every single time the texhs manage to scratch my wheels. This is even though i ask the service advisors to have them be careful. It is supposed to be touchless tire mounting, but not with the culture they have in the shop.

Very helpful, knowledgeable & friendly staff. Talked through options for my vehicle, provided suggestions & even provided feedback on potential issues for a suggested tire size to make aware of body rub etc. Typically a Costco tire person due to the warranty & locations to get service but Discount had the tires I wanted & an equal warranty option with an upgrade option for even better coverage. The only downside is they don't have nitrogen fill but you still get the lifetime balance, rotation & inflation at any of their stores in over 30 states. Definitely recommend & they will get my business.

I would not recommend Discount Tire in Fredericksburg VA, I was told over the phone they could install my tires and made an appointment. When I showed up they (said) they were unable to install my tires because of load index on the size tire I had. Funny thing is that they sold me the same size tire and installed it with no issues a few months ago. There are many options out here so I will not do business with them again for being shady.

Went by to look at new tire options for my Silverado. They had the tires I wanted in stock and were able to get me in immediately. I was in and out in 40 min maybe less.Awesome job and I will be back for all my tire needs. Highly recommended!
