My clutch went out on my vehicle, and was unsure who in the area specialized in European transmissions. I called a friend, who recommended Carpenter s. I got towed there, and was immediately received with friendly customer service. Robert called me often to provide me with status updates, was fair and honest with the cost and repairs. Turned out I also needed tires and he provided me with an excellent price. Thank you for everything Carpenter s, I will be a returning customer and will refer all my friends to you!

My car wouldn't start and that is what lead me to call Carpenters Motors. No one is having a good day when their car breaks down, and I was supposed to on a road trip to Texas. They quickly got the part I needed and replaced it same day. I felt they took care of me in an efficient and honest way. The best part is when I was expecting a very high bill, it was a reasonable price that I was happy to pay. My car is running great ever since, and my road trip was a success. Especially as a women, it is hard to find a car shop that you feel isn't taking advantage of you. This is the place. I will never take my car anywhere else. Thanks Guys!

I had an unexpected break of the outside, driver side door handle. I went into the shop unscheduled and they were able to order and fix my problem all in the same day. The mechanic even went one step beyond and painted the new one to match my car. I'm a first time customer. I showed up a few days ago as a concerned walk-in. My check engine light was on, and my transmission sensor was flashing. My little Honda CRV was not happy. They got me in quickly and the mechanic, Ali diagnosed the problem and explained everything to me. The parts were ordered and I came back the next morning to get the work done. Ali's diagnosis was accurate, and my car is running great!The manager, Robert was excellent. He went above and beyond. He took extra time to explain how to know when to do general maintenance on my Honda(as he was a previous Honda service manager). He explained how part pricing works, and even checked if my vehicle had any recalls not serviced(which it did).I felt like this place was upfront, honest, and respected me. This is your go-to place, I have been going to this location since they took over from the previous folks. I have nothing but positive experiences with the service and cost/price reasonableness. Anis, and M. Wali including the rest of the team go above and beyond to provide the best customer service/experience. I would highly recommend Carpenters Motorcar Services to anyone.

I had an excellent experience with the carpenters motorcar service. The staff was friendly and professional, and they took great care of my vehicle. Excellent Service. I changed brake pads and routers for my 2012 Toyota Camry, the did outstanding job. Outstanding Customer Service and Friendly Staff. We have 2 older cars and have had to bring them in several times for different repairs and maintenance. Jeff is fast and honest. He makes every effort to find low cost high quality parts and is up front about the cost. I never feel like I've been overcharged and he doesn't do any high pressure sales or try to get you add on unneeded services. I will never bring my car to anyone else. This is one mechanic you can trust with your vehicle and your wallet.

We were delighted with our experience at Carpenters; with very little notice, they agreed to look at a car we wanted to purchase from a nearby dealer, and within a couple hours, they had checked it out thoroughly, walking us through the minor problem areas while the car was still raised, so we could see for ourselves, and giving us the reassurance we needed that we were getting a well-cared for vehicle. They were friendly and kind and personable, and we'd recommend them to absolutely anyone.

I'm not from the area but found Jeff's shop on Google. I was looking to buy a used car. For a very reasonable price, Jeff walked me through everything on the truck. He pointed out good things, bad things, and items to watch. He was such a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend this shop enough. All of this was based on 1 experience, but if I was in the area, I'd surely bring my vehicles to Jeff.

Finding a good auto mechanic you can trust is a hard thing. Too many of us have had stories of being charged for work not done and being ripped off. Jeff Carpenter 's business is a gem. He'll never try to do work not needed and will listen to your every concern. My mother is one of those women who becomes concerned with every creek and snap and if he can be patient and with her you can bet he can fix whatever problem you have (or recommend who to go to, even the dealer if he can't).Note: It's not a big operation, so be prepared to wait a couple of weeks to get on his schedule.

Simple state inspection, but that's not what stood out. They we're courteous, quick, and thorough. Told me there would be about a 30 minute wait, but moved me up since I was waiting for it. Busy shop, but worth the wait.

Jeff's been our family mechanic for I'd have to guess a decade! Always took care of us AND taught us more about the problems and gave great advice. Worth driving at least an hour for, no questions asked.
