Barry and Dan are very honest, professional, reputable mechanics. I've lived in the local area for 30yrs. I'm glad I finally found them. They were referred by a local deputy. As I was trying to find someone to rebuild my transmission in my 97 Suburban. Dan gave me a quote over a hand shake. He didn't deter from it. He did great job. At that point I began to let them continue with a more work and improvements. They come highly recommended by me. Honest business right here. With very Fair prices.

I had to have my car towed because the pedals locked up on hwy 1. The AAA tow driver personally referred Action to me, and said he has had great work done by them. They did great work for me too. They were so honest. Told me what could wait to be repaired and what was an immediate necessity. It was still pretty pricey for the parts alone, time around Christmas, and I'm a single mom, so they offered to hold my car a few days while I figured things out, and wait to do the work until I was sure I could afford it and wanted it done, which ultimately I had them do. Come May it needed a new radiator, and I knew exactly where I would go. They're so genuine, and trustworthy, plus I CAN afford their prices. It's centralized location is a perk for me as well. I would recommend then to anyone.

I heard about this place through family who were really happy with the service. The guys were able to fix my vehicle at a really fair price without trying to add additional unneeded services. We have already bright two other vehicles back and have been very happy each time.

Been going to Action Auto Works for several years after being referred by a friend. Always a fair price with no attempts to up-sell you into a more costly repair. I have several vehicles and have been happy with all repairs they have done for me. They are very busy so it can be tricky to get work done at my convenience - I generally simply leave a vehicle for however long it takes and they call me when it's ready. This is what works best for me, and since I have several vehicles I am able to do this. If you only have one car and need to wait at their office while they repair, that is a bit more difficult to schedule. For me, the fair prices, honest work and knowing that they will not try to gouge me on the bill, it's worth the minor inconvenience of dropping the vehicle off and coming back for it later.

Barry is awesome! I paid several shops to work on my car with no positive results. I was even told that it could not be fixed. I took my car to Barry, he looks it over and told me exactly what was wrong with it and fix it for a affordable price. I will never take my car anywhere else. He now works on my two sons cars as well. We trust him and he is fair.Thanks,Althea, Andre & Ryan

My Ford truck's check engine light came on. Took the car for repairs in Manassas, bill was over $350.00. A week later, light on again. Another repair, different issue they said, this time $300.00.Two weeks later, the same. Then I was referred to Action Auto by my son in law. The truck was repaired there. No charge was applied until the repair results proven successful Several thousand miles proved the successful repair that took place. The charges were reasonable and the mechanic extremely courteous.

I work at a dealership and we have had some really finicky and problematic vehicles come through that 95% of shops aren't going to be able to figure out. We have not had a single vehicle that they couldn't fix. Easily the most impressive shop I have ever dealt with.

Danny is awesome. I had 4-5 different mechanics look at my sentra and try to find out why it was over heating. It took him about 2 minutes and he knew that the radiator was clogged and needed replaced.

These guys are amazing. Expertly diagnosed and made repairs and even corrected someone else s bad work.
