Excellent service! i recommend this place very highly. Shoutout to Trevor for working very hard and timely on a vehicle issue i had regarding repairs. very professional and explained everything in detail. Again i don't think i have ever met a mechanic that was this great and straight forward as well as willing to work with me to find the best way to go about the repair. 10/10.

I had a very unsatisfactory experience with AAA Fredericksburg Tuesday April 9th 2024. I called for service for a battery light on my dashboard.I had driven from NY. I specifically asked for someone to come with a battery in case that was the issue. I was called on a robo call that told me my driver would be at my location by about 5:45 pm. That call came in at 5:40pm. I immediately went to my car to wait.and wait, and wait. Finally at about 7pm I called the service again and was told the driver was hung up on his previous call and was on his way to my location. Again I waited. He arrived at 8:25 pm at our location. He performed a few tests and had a few answers but he told my son he was a body guy not a battery guy. I have been a member for over 20 years and have never had such a terrible experience. I never received a call to say he was delayed and never updated on his progress. As a visitor to Virginia I am extremely disappointed in the service. It left a very bad impression on me of AAA Fredericksburg.

Aaron was just wonderful to work with. The car ended up needing much more work than we realized, but he kept us informed every step of the way. He was even very patient while we made decisions and sometimes changed our minds. I would bring any vehicle back here in a heartbeat.

If you own a caravan that needs service, see Trevor at AAA.I own a 2014 caravan.It developed an oil leak.While in Pennsylvania, I took it to a dealership that rhymes with "bodge".3k later, it still leaked.Was told by dealership that the leak was something different than what they fixed.Gave up on them.Now that I am in Fredericksburg, I took it to another "bodge" dealer.They said $1800 to fix a laundry list of items to cure Leak.Took van to AAA and they fixed it for half that amount.Turns out, Leak had nothing to do with what Pennsylvania or Fredericksburg dealers worked on / proposed !Excellent work, AAA Fredericksburg!Larry

Over 8 hour wait for 2 car inspections and we arrived before 8am when they opened. Price quotes are ridiculously high for parts that should have been about 1/4 th the cost quoted.This is the last time we use AAA for any automotive work. Staff are friendly, but corporate policies suck a$$.

Service takes too long as you are here all day!!!They informed me my transmission was about to go out and it's been 3 years since they told me that and I drive daily from Stafford to Manassas. Still working on issues.Need to work on the speed of service. I can walk in Honda with no appointment and be done and go.

I am a member of AAA and I use this place when I need to get an International Driving Permit to travel to Europe. It is a quick process to get the license, two passport size photos, valid state drivers license, fill out the form and about 5 minutes later it's ready. About $20 and it is good for a year but not valid in the country you get it in.Updated 230922An international driver's license is still the same price and valid for one year.

Now the gentleman that show up are great, once they show up. I have a bad habit of locking my keys in my car and it took 4-5 hours before they even showed up to unlock my car door for roadside assistance. Otherwise, decent.

Can get busy, recommend an appointment. Staff friendly and professional. They are able to help make sure you are prepared for travel and do more than just travel. Insurance, car repair, and more.

I just wanted to acknowledge the absolute customer centered service my family just received from this auto center, and specifically Aaron Campbell. My son broke down, coming from upstate New York, and the assistance and professionalism that were provided were reminiscent of customer service of years gone past.Class organization.

This location has always been a go to for vehicle inspections for me. They have a quick turn around and are very courteous. They have had a recent change to their inspection availability, no longer performing said work on Saturday's. However, the quality and the care is still good and their mechanics have sharp eyes.

Great service at a good price. Very clean and professional service bays, facilities, and personnel. Restaurants nearby while you wait. Update, women beware! While I had no problems my girlfriend just went for an oil change, free battery check and Free maintenance inspection. Her appointment was at 11:00 am and it took over 3 hours to finish. The service manager did not give her the Maintenace inspection report or battery check report so I suspect they did not perform the services and did not give her the discount for being a AAA member.Service: Tire rotations

Trevor at the AAA Car Care Center in Fredericksburg, VA is awesome!We stopped there when our truck started making a horrific noise. When we told Trevor we were on a road trip from NJ to NC, he took the truck right in. It was up and on the lift immediately and our truck was fixed our within an hour.We can not say enough good things about the team at AAA Car Care Center in Fredericksburg, VA!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I ve been a premier member for 20 years in Nevada and California. Now we live in Virginia. Virginia offers mostly the same benefits PLUS a free battery each year . They don t tell you upfront that your batter has to fail to get that free battery. The battery replacement service is NOT offered 24 hours a day! I missed a day of work, too. It took 5 service calls over the span of 2 days for me to get the free battery . Once the battery test results was charge and retest apparently AAA will not allow a retest in the same call. So after I charged my own battery then called AGAIN, guess what?! Same problem, it clicked and wouldn t start. Gee big surprise!Then today, I go to get ONE signature notarized only to be told that they only notarize for auto or travel. I ve gotten MANY papers notarized in California AAA, Nevada AAA, even Manassas AAA that we re not solely auto or travel related.So, why am I paying $200+ a year? *Shrug*I highly recommend California AAA, and Nevada AAA. I do not recommend Virginia AAA they are great salesmen and will say anything to get your money for their bonuses.I called AAA to complain only to be told I can only snail write a complaint. No calls or emails. Then without confirming that I want to cancel or ask what I want to do next, the guy in the phone canceled my membership! What a great person. Well, it s a bittersweet good riddance I guess.If you re ever in this area and need a notary, Donald at the UPS store close by will happily help you for only $5 per signature!

Horrible experience with AAA. I got a flat in the middle of the night on my way out of town. The Plank rd facility was approx 2 miles away so the tow operator took my car there. These people scammed me out of my new tires that were on my car. I had recently replaced 2 tires. This plank rd AAA said I had to replace all the tires on my car because of this one flat tire, total $1500. Held my car hostage for 3 days. I was in a hotel waiting, I had to call several times a day to ask about my car. The last day before closing they said my car was ready. My 2018 Mercedes tire medallions were loose or missing. I get in my car to check the tire pressure and the tire pressure wasn t balanced! They were trying to close the store! I called one of the men outside to ask about the tire pressure. He had my Mercedes medallion in his hand and asked if I wanted it glued back on!! Huh!! The response about the tire pressure being off was, YOU HAVE A SLOW LEAK WTF You just replaced all my tires with inferior tires and the one tire that was supposed to be fixed has a slow leak. I was boiling mad! I just gave you 1500 and you did nothing but steal my good tires! I had to leave because I had an event that I was late to because they kept my car for 3 days for one flat. The worst experience ever. I canceled my membershipService: Tires

We were treated with care and kindness from the minute we arrived. They helped our family find a place to stay for the night and suggested a place to eat. They looked at our vehicle in reasonable time, we re thorough and didn t suggest unnecessary repairs. It ended up costing us nothing for the tow and inspection because of our AAA (CAA) membership. We were on our way in good time during the beginning of a family vacation. Our breakdown made it very stressful, but they looked after us. A big shoutout to Carlos and Sammye, who were our main points of contact. They kept us informed and were very knowledgeable. They reduced our stress by looking after us. The AAA auto repair today redeemed themselves. Trevor the store manager made the right call to correct my problem that I felt very unfair to be charged something that I thought the mechanic broke while fixing my car for an oil change. Trevor was actually patient with me an angry customer. He made things right by fixing the problem and not charging me for the work. I really felt they were at fault and I was glad he was willing to see that I was furious and fixed the problem with no charge. I will check every day that my car is running well. I will keep you updated.I thank you Trevor.

I cannot say enough about the experience I had when my car broke down halfway from Baltimore to Virginia Beach. I had my son and our puppy with us and they made us feel so welcome it made our bad experience into a heartwarming and welcoming one. Kristen was literally on the floor playing with the puppy, everyone had great recommendations for Towing companies, hotels, and answers to all my silly little questions. I cannot thank these people enough for turning our whole day of what could have been full of impatience and anxiety into an easy, welcoming, and wonderful experience. Hopefully my car does not break down again, but I do plan on stopping in to say hello when we decide to travel that way again. I honestly felt like I made friends that day in a town that I never had intentions on stopping at.

I needed an international driving permit which is only provided by the local AAA service center. The experience was great. No wait, no fuss and superb customer service. I also appreciated that it didn t matter whether you were a member or not. I highly recommend stopping by the AAA Fredericksburg center for any travel needs.

OMG, this place is amazing! My husband takes his car there and if there is a problem, they fix it!! Moderate in price and good people. They will owe up to anything that fails and make it right. They have proved that with us. Very honest place. My husband had been very happy with them. Try, what do you have to lose!??

EDIT! After servicing my car here for many years, this shop blatantly tried to rip me off for $4000. After experiencing an issue on the road, I had my vehicle towed here. They told me that they would have to replace both my transfer case (about $2000 and my transmission (about $4000). I can't afford that,, so I asked about the possibility of rebuilding the transmission, but they do not rebuild, only replace. I then had my car towed to AAMCO, a shop specializing in transmission repair. They told me that not only was my transmission working, but there were NO symptoms to make them think that there could be an issue. They did agree on the transfer case. About a month or so after I was able to get the repair done, I went back to AAA and asked to see the notes, so I could understand why they wanted to replace my transmission. I was told that the notes were paper only, and were destroyed. So this place wanted to charge me $4000 for an unneeded repair, and they couldn't even explain why. They have lost my business, and I urge anyone reading this to avoid this shop at all cost. If you must go here, get a second opinion before moving forward, because the staff here are either incompetent, under trained, or just plain crooked.Previous Review:Always a great experience here. Professional techs and great customer service. I needed a new battery, and I was driving away with it less than 30 minutes later. I will always recommend these folks.

This location provided stellar customer service that exceeded my expectations. My vehicle had been sitting for many months and needed a variety of repairs in order to pass inspection. The employees displayed both professionalism and compassion. They worked with me and allowed me to make a deposit towards repairs and pay the remaining balance over an extended period of time while they ordered the parts, waited for them to arrive, and performed the work. Dawn, in particular, was my point of contact throughout this process. She kept me up-to-date on repair status, offered a payment arrangement, and made sure to provide me with receipts of all of my payments towards the balance until it was completed, for my own records. She navigated the entire process with honesty and integrity. When Dawn was not present, her coworkers and supervisors demonstrated the same level of service and care. I highly recommend them to any one who is in need of friendly, compassionate service by experienced, industry professionals.Service: General repairs & maintenance
