We have been a customer of A&J Automotive for years. Not only is the workmanship great but the customer service is amazing! They always listen to our concerns and talk us through what our vehicles need. We feel all our vehicles are in good hands and they treat us very fairly. They maintain our fleet of 16 trucks like they are their own. Highly recommend A&J!! I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience with A&J yet. They're fair, courteous, and quick, and I've never had that "I feel like I just got ripped off" feeling when I leave.They're not the cheapest, and not open Saturdays, but I don't see myself going to any other repair shop or mechanic.

Joe, the Service Advisor was great! His Service Manager Joe, however not so good. I m a retired Service Manager of over 30 years in a Buick/GMC dealership. I would never have treated my customers the way he treated me. Very rude and condescending. And for that he just lost a very good customer after spending $1400.00 in his establishment.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went there with a car that needed a new alternator, there were other lights on and I new the car may not be worth what it would cost to fix. I was hoping they could give me an idea of how much everything would cost but they told me the alternator had to be installed before they could give me an idea on everything needed done. That was 1,380 just for the alternator. After it was installed I was told the total to get it back in good running order was 5,900. The car is only worth 2,000. I declined any more repairs and they charged me an additional 350 for diagnostics. In other words I paid $1,735 to find out what was wrong with a 2,000 car. They could have at least waived the diagnostic charge, I have since learned a car can sometimes be hooked up to a charging system to read codes. They could have at least tried. I didn t have 1,735 dollars to throw away

If I couls out 0 stars I would but can't so I put a 1 star biggest bunch of con artist around wouldn't recommend them to anyone charges me 70 dollars to tell me they can't fix the vehicleService: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

Needed motorcycle inspection. Called in the morning and they were able to fit bike in just after lunch. Quick and easy. Awesome service every time.

Great place. Been fixing my husband s car here for years. Also just took my car in. $450 for brake rotors cause it failed a state inspection at another shop. With military discount about $420 and the other shop was going to charge about $500. So seems to be fair prices and workers are friendly. Also rebuilt our Equinox that always has issues a few years ago.

My husband and I were at the very beginning of our return trip to Vero Beach, FL . As we arrived at a stoplight on busy Rt. 17 in Fredericksburg the car suddenly turned off and the dashboard went black. We were able to coast to the shoulder and called Triple A. Fortunately the Triple A driver suggested that he tow the car to a repair company he recommended rather than to the VW dealer. When he informed us that he could only take one passenger we were extremely upset, being senior citizens, far from family, friends and home. He somehow arranged for another tow truck to pick me up. Fortunately, we were taken to A&JAutomotive on Warrenton Road and treated with professionalism, courtesy and friendliness. They quickly determined the cause for the failure and explained what went wrong. We feel confident that we were treated with honesty and truthfulness. The repair was done more quickly than we anticipated for which we were extremely grateful. On a scale of 1 -10, we give them a 20!

Called several businesses no one had technicians available for an emissions inspection. We called A & J, and they took us as walk-ins had my son's car done in less the the quoted time.

I went in to get my car checked out. I think my clutch was going in my car. Chuck the manager was so friendly and always kept me in the loop with my car and what was going on. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their car worked on. They are very honest and tell you what you actually need and not try and sell you stuff you don t just so they can make money. Thank you A & J for the great service. My car thanks you also

As an automotive professional for more than 40 years, I was impressed with the professional service and friendliness of the staff. Having just moved to the area. I had A&J perform an emissions and safety inspection on my vehicle. They were timely, honest, and got me in and out very quickly.Kudos to a well run, clean, honest and professional shop! I am very particular on who I give my busy to. A & J Automotive is awesome. The people at the front desk are amazing and the technicians do a fantastic job each time I bring my vehicle to them. If you are looking for a place to service your vehicle, here is the place. Descent prices, quality service and they are about the customer.

Always the best. Austin and Joe Roberta Chuck, Cody and the entire team at A&J are like part of the family. They are always fair and trustworthy. We have been going to them for around 20 years now. My daughter went off to college in Florida and the goal is to find a place there that we can compare to A&J. That will be a tall order. When ever she drives home the car goes to them for a good once over.A+++

Take your car ANY other place. My dads cooling fans were out, engine was overheating...he took his car in to get an estimate and they quoted him $900!! The parts online were less than $200 and we had a mechanic friend replace the fans, took less than an hour, he charged $50. This place was going to charge $700 for labor?? Rip off!!On top of that, they charged $120 for a diagnostic fee...are you kidding me?? Just to look at the car? Insane. We will never be back.This place will get their money one way or another. Not worth your time or energy. Take your car somewhere else.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fantastic job here. Came in based on the good reviews I saw for what I expected would be a big, expensive repair, and not only were they all super friendly and understanding, but they fixed my car in record time and now it works great. Cheaper than I expected and I didn't get that feeling that they were trying to take advantage of my since I'm a woman by bumping up prices. Thanks, guys.

The staff were welcoming, fast a d friendly. When my car broke down unexpectedly they were the only shop who took my car that day. No appointment needed. They worked quickly and got my car back to me a day earlier than expected. Thanks so much Cody.

These guys are all about customer service! They are great people with knowledgeable staff. They go above and beyond to make you happy. Still continue to take all my vehicles here. Anyone complains about these guys haven't been to a car repair shop in the last 40+ years! Keep up the good work Austin and Joey.

Front Staff is ALWAYS welcoming and takes great care of us. We take our vehicles in for routine maintenance all the time and NEVER have been pushed to get additional work done that was not needed. (unlike other places we have been). I know our vehicles and wallets are in great hands when we go to A & J Automotive. Constantly recommending them!

I m a little disappointed in the service here. I brought our family van in for a second opinion and ended up spending more than I originally would have. I bought four tires and had the O2 sensor repaired and it cost almost $1400. Their military discount only applies to the the first $50. That s pretty weak. The service was good but they should have given me a better deal since I gave them by business instead of another shop. Also, I sent several customers there. Won t be going back.

My car died in VA driving north from vacation. We were stranded. Called A&J a few minutes before they opened on a Monday morning. Had the car towed there. They could have told me anything, but it was just a broken serpentine belt. They took me right in, ordered the belt, replaced the belt, recharged the battery and thoroughly checked the vehicle. Was back on the road in a few hours. Good prices, good service...Thanks, guys!

Front Staff is always welcoming and takes great care of me. I take all three of my vehicles in for routine maintenance and repairs all the time and never have been pushed to get additional work done that was not needed. I always get a ride back home or work while they work on vehicle. I know my vehicles are in great hands. I always recommend A & J Automotive to my family and friends.
