Andy and the folks at Holmes Auto nailed it!!! They took good care of my old truck. The process was seamless and easy. They keep you well informed through their app. as work gets done and pictures give you piece of mind as they find problems needing their attention. The work was quick and professional!!

I have been positive about the service and friendliness about Holmes but recently I was quoted $20 + price of oil and was charged $90. I was dumbstruck. Even after requesting the cheapest oil necessary for our vehicle, I can t imagine that much. I researched oil necessary for my vehicle and prices averaged about $50 or less. Thus $70 is less than $90. I wasn t very happy.

Took my 98 bmw to this shop and they exceeded my expectations with their timing, professionalism, price point, explanations of issues and so on. Olivia is pretty awesome and I'm sure the guys in the shop are just as great. Strongly recommend

I love this place. Both of our vehicles have been seen at Holmes multiples times and I know every time I drop one off that I'll get a quick diagnosis with service options and reasonable price quotes. Olivia runs the office like a pro! I hope they appreciate all she does.

Had a 2005 Toyota Camry tuned up/valve cover gasket replaced & 2010 Chevy Equinox fuel system serviced. Work was performed quickly and professionally. Vehicles definitely running better now. Every since I've been taking my capitiva here Holmes has been great.always fix the problem with the vehicle n explains everything n let's u know before the end of day or next day.i would recommend them to anybody.all are friendly too

On our way to visit family for the holidays, my car began to sputter and I knew something was wrong. We chose this shop due to the reviews and we are so happy we did! Holmes Automotive did it again! I was afraid the transmission was going bad in my wife's 2016 Jeep. They ran a diagnostic and found out it was just a wheel speed sensor. Fixed it and had it ready to go earlier than expected. I'll be taking them all of my problems. Check them out, you'll be very pleased with the whole experience. Holmes automotive has been the best garage we've dealt with. They go above and beyond to keep you informed and help you anyway possible to save. Not a problem with their work whatsoever with a newly installed engine radiator and fuel pump. Very happy definitely a returning customer! Andrew Holmes has a great professional approach to all of my needs to keep my F-150 in prime running since 2007. I now have just over 300,000 miles on my truck & it performs as if it just came off the car lot. He & his mechanics have serviced my wife's & daughter's other vehicles as well. We will never have another mechanics business service our vehicles like Holmes Automotive.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I drove all the way from Maryland to get my work done at Holmes Automotive & Performance in Franklin, VA. Why would somebody drive that far to get their truck worked on? Better price and better service!!! With what I had done, I saved a significant amount of money. I also knew that the service I would receive from the Holmes family would be much better than what I would receive at a typical dealership. I scheduled my work ahead of time and I was in and out in one day. My truck is now running well and I could not be happier with the service I received. If you are looking for high- quality work that is done at a reasonable price, go to Holmes Automotive & Performance.

I have used Holmes Automotive as my mechanic shop of choice for over six months and can honestly say that I am 100% pleased with not only their quality of work but their great customer service.Andy is a hard worker and is always very attentive to the needs of his customers and looks to always service whatever problem they have with their vehicle on one visit.I would highly recommend his services to anyone in the South Hampton County Area looking for an honest hard working mechanic that has your best interest in mind.

This is my second time visiting Andy and his crew with my 2005 Ford 6.0 liter.Andy analyzed my truck from top to bottom and gave me a list of neededrepairs with a price and three differentoptions for the repairs to the motor.He performed the services needed in a timely manner and my truck starts good, runs good and performs well pulling 10,000 lbs. everyday. I am very well satisfied with the work Andy and his crew have done to my truck a second time.If this truck wasn t a 6.0 liter I might not have been recommended to see Andy 8 years ago. I am not disappointed and very satisfied with his work.

I was nervous when I originally had my vehicle towed here as I was not familiar with any local car shops so I picked the closest garage with the better google rating. But I soon became very at ease knowing I had made the right choice. Everything with my experience was great, they were able to look at my car the same day I had it towed in (even though it was late on a Friday afternoon) I was kept very well informed on the status of my car the entire time it was in their possession and everyone was friendly. I would def recommend this shop.

Andy and his crew are in my opinion the best diesel mechanics around. He has done work on my Super Duty for the past 7 years. He has so much experience with these trucks that he is quick to diagnose and repair them quickly. I live in southern Chesapeake and with plenty of other options in the local area still take it to his shop in Franklin because of his quality of work. I highly recommend Andy Holmes for all your Diesel needs especially if you own a Ford Powerstroke. Because if his work I rarely have any issues. He also takes preventative measures to avoid future problems.
