My boyfriend had a blow out on his way down here from NJ, I checked for a location near me and came upon Harris Tire, Frederick had also knocked his bumper loose and needed screws to secure it, he also wanted the same brand of tire that he already had .The owner went out of his way to try and locate the tire, when he could not he did find a compatible tire replaced it at a very reasonable price, screws were done at no cost at all. I gathered Frederick was pleased because he talked about the owner and how well he was treated for over a half hour when he got back.

Every once in a while you will encounter a company that provides service so exceptional that it should serve as a benchmark against which other companies should be measured. That company is Harris Tire, which has provided me with the best customer service of any tire retailer I have encountered in my fifty years of driving. I won't go anywhere else to purchase tires in Lynchburg!

If you re interested in wasting your time, this is the place for you. Called to make an appointment they don t take appointments. Told me over the phone that I would need to come in, and they were not busy and available. Drove there and was informed that they could not get to a 20 minute job anytime in the next week Waste of time.Poor customer service. If I could rate this business, as zero stars, I would.

Now these are the guys to go to! The manager was awesome! Helped me out even put me next in line after I got screwed over at another shop! The employees were all nice, the store was clean, and they definitely know what they are doing.

Poor customer service. My car was being serviced for several weeks not sure if they really knew what they were doing. Absolutely no communication. I made all the phone calls, none returned and giving dates when my car would be ready for pickup and never once accurate; days prolonged with no explanation unless I attempted to call for information. I walked in and one gentlemen told me that my car was all balanced and about ready to roll. I responded "balance?" and this was after I clearly pointed out my car so the employee would know exactly what car I was talking about. My car was there for a power steering issue. No communication between associates either. Horrible. I was taken as a joke even after I had pay several hundreds of dollars prior to me bringing it back in to be service. They cannot work on my lawn mower. Period.

As I drove from South FL to Lynchburg (visiting family), I developed a tire issue. It turns out both of my front tires were in bad shape. Frank (mgr) really stepped up and helped me get a nice set of tires at a great price....quickly! I really needed to get back to FL, so the "quickly" part meant a lot!

Today I was visiting Lynchburg, where I grew up, and was headed to the Blue Ridge Parkway. When I got gas, my Jeep did not start. I had thought my battery may be showing signs of age, and had Jeep check it last week, they said it was fine. So I ended up going to Harris Tire Company on 221 on Forest Road.They were very freindly and assured me that they would help me, if they could. This Jeep has the stop/start feature, and required a special piece of equipment. They did have that and were able to change it out with no ill affect to the CPU in the Jeep. This took less than 30 minutes and we were off.Was so nice to have the battery fully operational, and knwo that I would not get stranded in the mountains.Thank you to Kyle and the whole crew. You all came highly recommended and, and I would add to that recommendation.

I took my car to get diagnosed and I clearly stated a few times that something underneath my car was going on because I can feel it when I drive. The guy was dismissive and said it was a sensor that her turned off. I pulled out of the parking lot only for it to come back on before I got on 221. Definitely won t be returning. I felt like he dismissed me simply because I m a female

Twice over the years I had to stop here for a quick tire check because I was in the area and a tire was going flat or concerning. Today Sheetz had an out of service sign on the air pump when my tire warning light came on. When I stopped in the tech immediately assisted me with checking pressures and filling tires as needed so I could get home. There was no charge and no wait. I was so grateful! Thank you Harris Tire! Highly recommended!

These guys offer a great service very friendly well accommodating great deal on tires and automotive service as well I've been doing business with for years Very highly recommended Several locations in Lynchburg and surrounding area so there's always one close by staff is very friendly and easy to get along with 5

Good tires and best alignment ever I have drove over 10,000 miles and still have the same alignment these guys are the best in town would never go anywhere else they have a waiting area and a TV for you to watch while you wait on your vehicle to be serviced.Came back agin this year to get inspection the in technition identified the issue's properly to allow me to make the needed repairs and got another outstanding alignment they also rotated my tires thanks agin for great service!

I have only ever had good experiences with Harris Tire, you will find yourself asking how could you go to any other place after going here and looking at dealerships with disgust.Seems decently priced and very knowledgeable. They call you and tell you what's wrong, what it'll take and more.Example:My dad and I tried installed a new alternator, and it wouldn't work! We spent so much on the new one too. Told Harris Tire to just buy a new one but give us the old one, they were confused why they were changing a brand new alternator for no reason, they found out we blew the fuse, they only changed to diagnose and fix fuse.

The customer service was excellent! My fiance and I got out of our car, and before we even walked into the building, there was someone who greeted us and helped us. He immediately identified what our problem was and what we needed to do. The people there are very knowledgeable and ready to serve. It was a great experience!

Harris really does a great job with their work and customer service. I feel good about supporting them and taking my used car to them to work on. Thankful they're in the Central VA area. Honest and reliable folks.

Never again. My regular shop couldn't get me in so I was referred to Harris for new tire install and balance. 1) aftermarket wheels lip and face damage, proof with before and after photos but Harris wouldn't take responsibility 2) new dent in the tailgate of my truck that I pointed out before leaving the parking lot, was told "we took the best care of your truck. We didn't do that." 3) icing on the cake, I go to rotate the wheels/tires months later and have to break the lugs loose with a 3-ft breaker bar. The receipt said they were torqued to 82 lb ft. Lies. If they can't torque lugs to spec (the most basic task) you can't trust them with more complicated work on your car.If you value your stuff car and investment in accessories, avoid Harris.

Called ahead and spoke to Kyle who was very friendly and helpful with looking into my issue with a valve stem. Arrived with a warm welcome from Phil was was very very courteous. They were busy but he knew I needed to get out of town and was able to get my car worked in quickly. Highly recommend going here!

I got to work and one of my coworkers discovered I had a flat tire. I didn't know what to do. My husband was out of town and always takes care of that stuff for me. A coworker suggested I call Harris Tire. They were so awesome. The took care of my car and explained the condition of my tires. I knew they were bad but not as bad as they were. They replaced all my tires and the ride has been so smooth. They also worked around my crazy work schedule. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend Harris tire. They are customer service oriented. It's like having your neighbor offering to help you. I will definitely be giving them my business in the future. Thanks again.

Went for my annual inspection and a tire rotation . This is the only place we bring our vehicles for service because my husband is a great mechanic. The guys are always friendly and get you in and out quickly. I have always had a painless experience when buying tires or doing repairs which is something since no one wants to drop hundreds on car repairs. We bought a set of tires w a warranty & needed a new set way within 18 months and Harris Tire gave us credit on a new set. I appreciate their free tire rotation and repair service. They get busy so the best time to get your car in is when they open at 7:30am.

I've been using Harris Tire on 221 for years now primarily for state inspections and tire work because my husband is a mechanic. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and will take good care of your car. It's true that they don't make appointments for inspections but if you don't wait until the last minute you won't have any problem. I am always nice to them and they are nice to me in return. They go above and beyond to help!
