I was visiting Radford planning to leave in two days. My tire got a serious flat and needed to be replaced. They ordered the tire and had me up and running in short order. A big thanks to Toby. Good people.

Misquoted us on the phone and surprised us when we arrived to pick up the car. It was only about an $80 difference but I should have been told that before picking it up and okaying the work. Disappointed.

After taking my car to McCoy and then finding $3000 of damage. I went to the car doctor in a past inspection. Without any issue have a definitely recommend the car doctor

Had them replace a part on my Mercedes and they had to remove the transmission. Apparently they dropped it and used a lot of JB Weld on the side of the transmission and leaks transmission fluid. I just found out and I am beyond mad. I wouldn't let this place work on my bicycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I want to give a big shout out to Toby and the guys at Car Doctors !! I m from Roananoke and was working in Dublin when my breaks seized on my van and was basically stranded!! I made it to Car Doctors and even though they were extremely busy ( because ( because their AWESOME) Toby was able to squeeze me in and got me back on the road !! I can t thank them enough!! I highly recommend Car Doctors !! They were a lifesaver!!!

Good Samaritans. Had a noise I was worried would strand me on a road trip. They diagnosed it and fixed it super quick for a reasonable price and explained everything in detail. Great guys

AMAZING!!!I came flying off of I-81 when my brake pedal went to the floor. We had just had the rear brake pads and a caliper replaced the day before, but the other company installed it wrong and the tire wore a hole through the twisted brake hose and I lost brake fluid and pressure. These guys were the first place I was able to roll into @4:45 pm on a Friday. These guys went above and beyond and immediately started calling for suppliers for the part to deliver that night, but no suppliers had the part. They then arranged for a Saturday delivery and drove me around so I could get the family to a rental car and hotel. The owner then came in on Saturday to get us back on our way despite normally being closed!!! I d give them 10 stars if I could. I m grateful that they were so gracious and kind and fixed the unsafe incompetence of the other brake shop.

Took my truck in for a issue I couldn t find with it starting had it their for 6 days and they only worked on it for 2 hours and replaced a couple of vacuum lines and they caught fuel injector wires on fire and melted a lot of the stuff but caught it in time so it would work fine I guess but they still charged me for the 2 hours (190) and didn t even fix the issue I brought it in for.Service: Electrical

I never write online reviews but Toby and the guys here have been great. My life long mechanic retired a couple of years ago and I rolled the dice on The Car Doctors and I'm glad I did. Everything I own has over 250,000 miles on it. They have been 100% honest and trustworthy. My first experience getting work done here was an excellent one. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well as accommodating. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time and received a 5% discount for paying cash. I am very pleased with the work that was done and my car sounds fantastic with the muffler work that was performed. The Car Doctors did provide me with information that could actually save me money for the service I desired. Thank you Car Doctors for the new muffler installation. I am very pleased with the job well done and will recommend your company to others for service.

The guys that work there are very nice and friendly. I only had an inspection done to my car I called the day before and the man was able to get me an appointment for the next day in the evening. They were very busy and I didn't have to wait too long. Yes I will be returning.

I usually don't leave reviews but I am not happy about my service. As far as repairs go they did a good job but I was quoted a price for the repair and when I went to pick it up it was $150 more than they told me! I feel like that should have been made clear! Toby and Cory take the stress out taking a car in for repairs, service, and diagnostics. I am just so impressed with the level of professional, friendly, and wonderful service I receive each and every time I take my car in. They are a fantastic group of guys that really know about cars and they are also extremely honest. I highly recommend them.

Toby at The Car Doctors diagnosed and repaired my daughter s RAV4 in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. She was visiting friends in Radford and her car died. Toby and his mechanics had it repaired perfectly. They due great work at what I would say low cost. I ve never been asked to do a $500 super tune-up like at university BP in Radford of course that was back in 2001. And they never tried to put a used exhaust on my car and say it s new like that god fairing man across the bridge in Fairlawn. I ve also have different types of cars over the year but same great result when I turn the car on. Had a great experience with Toby and staff. I'm a car guy, so I am a bit hesitant to take my cars to just anyone. Toby was able to fit me in that afternoon. Knowledgable mechanics and reasonable pricing. Did observe that Toby was going the extra mile to help another client of his that had some trouble with mice nests blocking the A/C evaporator. Not sure how it all worked out, but he definitely had to make a huge improvement with all that he removed.

These guys are great. They won t have you paying for things you don t need to or anything like that. They explain to you so that you actually understand what s going on with your vehicle. Prices are always very reasonable. Typically fast service too.

I'm a big fan of Toby and The Car Doctors. They are one of a handful of shops I trust to work on my fleet of vehicles. I don't hesitate to take my Audi, Land Rover, and VW to them for service. The Car Doctors employs very intelligent and competent mechanics. Their labor rate is also competitive with the market, and I trust them to provide me with transparent feedback on what repairs are needed while getting the work done in appropriate timeframes. Top notch shop that will not be intimidated by performance or complicated over engineered imports.

Had a warning light and very annoying alarm going off on my car after I serviced the brakes. Called the dealer and it was going to be 3 weeks before they could look at it. I called Bruce and he told me to bring it right over. They had it fixed and me back on the road within an hour. Big thanks Toby and his team for getting me going again so quickly.

I used to think these guys were ok, but not anymore. Nowadays this place will charge $75 for diagnostics tests that advanced auto will run for free as a first step. That should tell you what kind of service you are going to get here - I'm not saying it isn't complete and quality work - but in my experience you are going to pay up for it. I took a known issue to them and was still charged an hour of labor for a couple of tests that came back fine... only to be told the problem might be exactly what I said it was. They also suggested fuel additives....I really can't say anymore than that. Again, I can't complain about the quality, but I've got an older car I'm just trying to keep running - I'll go to Donnie's down the road in the future.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Went to have 2 tires replaced and the first scheduled day arrived they never received the tires and never even noticed they were missing my tires till the day scheduled. Then had to reschedule to the next day I had to work at 4:30 and was assured that a 2:00 appointment would be no issue I was late to work after waiting 2 hours for 2 tires to be changed. All while being quoted a price that was a lie and quoted a time frame that was also a lie.Almost forgot to mention I was charged for a lugnut they broke. Terrible visit.

Honest mechanics, got my 03 4runner master cylinder replaced for a reasonable price. There were some problems with the install because of a faulty part which I supplied but they got it all sorted out and in working order. Quick repair time too, after I got the part they had it fixed within a day or two even with my problems. Only complaint I have is my fluid reservoir was overflowing with fluid and I didn't notice until I finished a 3 hour drive back home after getting the car. No big deal because I siphoned it out, but had I not checked that may have caused a problem/leak.

Finally an auto shop that does not try to steal from you. They are honest and great at their jobs. Fair prices and friendly service that will keep me coming back. Though I live in Blacksburg I will never use another shop except Car Doctors, I make the trip for any of my car needs, they are worth it.

Hands down best car repair service in NRV. I love supporting non-franchise local businesses and this local family operated business is run by good honest folks who are awesome to deal with. You can always count on Bruce up front to take good care of you!

Had our inspection done. Tgey were very accommodating and squeezed me in. I needed 2 light bulbs replaced, and they charged fairly unlike other stations I've experienced in the past.

Toby is probably the most honest mechanic I've ever done business with, and works fast too. He seems to actually care about his job. Had a freeze plug replaced and rear drums repaired without any issue. Couldn't recommend him more.

Had them take the old exhaust off my old Honda and had them put a custom one on looks very professional and matched all up to the factory hangers clean welds very good job and I have been very happy with it

I brought my vehicle to Car Doctors to repair rusted fuel lines, what was returned to me was a car with a broken windshield and mechanics scratching their head refusing it was their fault. My windshield did not have any cracks prior to them working on my car. Do not go here, people who refuse their mistakes should not be trusted.
