All businesses should be operated like R&D Collision in Stafford, VA. Honesty, integrity, patience, and outstanding customer service all come to mind when I think of R&D. I first used their services nearly 20 years ago for a previous vehicle I owned, and I also used their services recently when my 18-yr-old vehicle sustained body damage from being involved in an accident. R&D Collision saved the day for me when another repair shop could not.I first took my vehicle to a different repair shop for an estimate since it was within walking distance from my house. However, the next day I learned they would not provide an estimate nor repair my vehicle. I was upset that I had wasted a full day, so I immediately contacted R&D and was told that I could bring my vehicle in for an estimate the same day.After I arrived at R&D, I was greeted by Eric who immediately went to work with documenting the damages to my vehicle. He was very thorough and asked many questions to ensure I would be 100% satisfied with the repairs and costs. I was surprised when he told me he d have the estimate ready in 15-20 minutes, so I waited until he returned with the detailed paperwork. After reviewing the estimate with him, I was happy to learn it was for a very fair price, so I made the decision to leave the car with R&D that day so they could begin working on it. And since I needed a ride back to my house, Richard the owner kindly accommodated my request. So, even before the repair job was started, R&D made my day so much better.Less than a week later, the repairs were complete, so I went to R&D to get my car and was amazed with how good it looked. Not only did they complete the repairs from the accident, they also polished the headlights so they were clear again, washed the car, and realigned the front bumper which previously had a large gap in it from a repair done by the other shop a few years ago. In addition, Richard was able to fix a water leak with the front door which had been plaguing me every time it rained.R&D truly exemplifies superior customer service. They exceeded my expectations from start to finish, and I absolutely recommend them to anyone in the Stafford area needing auto body repairs. Thank you, R&D Collision for a job well done!

I have used R&D Collision four times (only once our fault) between two cars & I cannot say enough them.First, their prices are competitive important if you re self-paying. If your insurance is footing the bill, you may not care.Second, communication was excellent. My estimates were easy to understand & Eric was great about setting up expectations & informing me quicklyof any changes.Third, they do really good work. Despite knowing exactly what was worked on, I can t differentiate it from the original.Fourth, they treat you with good old-fashioned, small town customer service. They re really nice people who will go above and beyond. I am very grateful I found them.

Absolutely phenomenal service. Took my car here on an insurance claim. They made sure the job was done right and worked directly with my insurance company. Would recommend this business to anyone! My car has never looked better.

Went here after getting rear ended and reading all the positive reviews. Eric Rudolph came out and looked at the damages to my car. Wrote up an estimate and gave it to me. The estimate was more than what the insurance had already given me. Eric said that that is pretty normal. We made arrangements to drop the car off. They had it for a week repairing the rear of the car and replacing the front bumper. Eric handles everything with the insurance too, that's what I liked the most. The car looks perfect. Can't tell it was ever in an accident. I was really impressed with the professionalism and quality of work R & D did. Would highly recommend them for body work. Would also highly recommend Eric to help get everything done.

Everyone here is super nice and helpful! I came in just to get a quote on my side mirror (I had the new part in hand) BUT they said they were able to do it now and it was done within the hour. Highly recommend and they have an adorable shop pup!

There's a very good reason R&D has 4.9 stars...but even that is too low of a rating for their incredible work. My son had a difficult job for them with a broken front header panel on an '88 Tbird. The finished job came out perfect! Friendly, professional, R&D is the best in the business. My highest recommendation.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

R&D went above and beyond with how they cared for my vehicle. 1) They were the best price out of the estimates I received for my repairs. 2) They were able to make a repair on my bumper that multiple dealerships and Bodyshop's told me could not be repaired and that the bumper needed to be replaced. R&D made the repair, and it looks as good as new. Finally, and the reason I say they went above and beyond when repairs were complete, they washed the outside of the van and vacuumed and cleaned the inside. When I picked it up, the van was cleaner than my Tahoe was after I paid a certain carwash on 610 to wash it. Overall, I had a great experience with R&D. The work quality and customer service were excellent. I will definitely use them in the future.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Absolutely amazing. My car was going to be there for 7-8 days they estimated but it fell over the long July 4 weekend. So instead of holding onto it for those three days while it just sat and I didn't have a car, they were able to work to get it done in 5 to help me out. Erik was so understanding and helped me out of that tough situation and the body shop people are some of the most hardworking people I've ever met. Eric and Richard are highly professional. Amazing business! Go to them if you need body work done on your vehicle. They kept me updated and did amazing work on my vehicle after I got in a car accident. Highly recommend this place 100%! They even came and got my car from my house & brought it back for me. Everything was fantastic from both of them! Thank you guys so much!!

The shop was great in working with me and gave me a level of service at a collision shop I haven t had in awhile. I had an important appointment I had to get to and they got my sunroof taken care of and on the road in a great timeframe. When I showed up they were familiar with me, the situation, and were amazing in working with me. I would gladly work with them again.

Damage on Vehicle: I Sanded down clear coating on my car attempting to buff down a scuff from awhile ago.Repair: Buffed an polishedCost: NoneR & D Collision Center is BY FAR the BEST auto body I have ever been to. Excellence might not even be enough to describe how I felt about my experience. I had no appointment as this was self induced damage from my stupidity. I called and a gentleman, 'Richard', said to come on by to take a look. I had little hope of anything getting done as I was in town for only two days and wasn't going to be able to schedule an appointment. However Richard took my car to the back and 10 minutes later, shows me what he did. He removed all of the highly visible marks at no cost.I plan on coming back to finish off the rest of the scratches and dents on my car later in the year with full expectation to pay what this company deserves. Businesses like R & D give me hope that there are still good people in this world. 10/10 I HIGHLY recommend this place to ANYONE who appreciates top-notch customer service.

I cannot praise this establishment enough! I was able to bring my car in, get assessed and it was fixed earlier than originally quoted. Richard was great in getting quality parts and it was super easy to work with enterprise to get rides to and from R and D with minimal effort on my part. If you need work done I highly recommend R and D. You will not regret it!!!

Would strongly recommend R&D Collision! Richard and his crew are loyal and hardworking to their craft. What the outside of the building doesn t show is the heart and sweat the guys put in in the back.I just had them do a $2,500 paint job for me and it looked show room ready brand new. And it wasn t complicated or a long process, they got right to it. They simply want to fix your car and make sure you re happy with the finished product.There is only one bad review and that person obviously doesn t know the facts or the actual information. I personally talked to Richard and he said he wishes she understood what he was saying as she clearly got the wrong message.They are open minded and are open to all kinds of people. They don t desrcirminate and they definitely don t hold judgment based on your outside appearance, after all, they are a body shop. They take in wrecked cars all day long, and in the end, they please and impress the customer.I will always 12/10 take my car, vehicle, whatever needs fixing, to Richards place, he s the man!!

The owner is awesome and provides honest pricing and fantastic quality service. I had multiple vehicles repaired at R&D. Rich fixed my vehicles quickly and lower than competitors price point.This is the kind of place that you can send family and friends to!

I have been a customer of R& D for almost 20 years. OK, the place is small but boy does it do superior work in that small space. Living close to the Washington DC area I do not think Rick and crew has not done some work on every car I and my wife have owned. Excellent work, delivers on time and on price. Easy to work with. That is why we keep going back.

Called about getting a quote and was told no appointment necessary; first thing to impress me considering most of the other places around work only by appointment, even with quotes. Received a typed quote with an easily understood breakdown of cost and was given very thorough information regarding what kind of timeline would be needed. The gentlemen I worked with even went the extra mile of attaching my front plate, since our vehicle came in from out of state. I highly recommend R & D.

R&D is simply put, the absolute best body and repair shop anywhere ever. On four occasions have I used their bodywork services and each time I came away completely satisfied. If ever I need bodywork done on my car again in the future I'll be returning here. To the negative reviewers I have this to say, 'You can please some of the people all of the time you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.'

Editing because I actually used them to fix my car after being rear ended.As expected, the service from Allen was top notch. My suv looks brand new, and I got it back a day earlier than expected. The whole process was easy.I pulled in because I had a problem with my tire. While this is a collison only shop, Allen did not hesitate to offer help with changing my tire. The service was fast, and the guys in the shop were friendly.

Just took my brand new Maxima to R&D Collision Center, in Aquia, after side swiping the right side of the car while parking in my tight garage space. Met Richard, the owner.. he evaluated the damage, took the car back, buffed and polished it, and it came out as good as new with no damage to the paint or the body. He did not charge me a penny, despite my insisting on paying him something for his work and time. Shows you he is a decent, honest man and great at what he does...10 stars out of 5!!!!!

After a small fender bender I took my car here to get it fixed and very satisfied with their work. The man explained what was broken and what he was going to do to fix it and gave a reasonable quote. They were able to fix my car fast.
