I ran over something while heading south on interstate 95. And my tire size is so unusual that no one had my size. Bill and his team did everything possible to get me on the road that could be done. Unbelievably they even went above and beyond. Without getting into details, I was back on the road and made it to my destination thanks to his team.Please, if you need tires and are in the area you will be well taken care of by this tire shop and team.

I made an appointment for a Tuesday afternoon for a State Safety inspection. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Phenomenal service. Been going to these guys for years. Will continue to use them as they are close and super friendly staff. Thanks!

Love this place. Have been going to Progressive since 1993. This visit was no different. A place you can trust to fix what needs to be fixed not unnecessary charges and done at a reasonable cost. Check them out.

Marcy did a wonderfully quick job of getting me scheduled for an emissions test despite it being near the end of the month. Arrived early for my appointment, and my vehicle was taken back early as well. So, in and out in less than 30 minutes and ahead of schedule. Very much appreciated!

Went here to get some suspension issues looked at as my grandfather trusted Billy and his team so I figured they d be able to diagnose the issue, unfortunately even with how prevalent and noticeable the issue was it could not be found.Further inspection by myself, a non mechanically trained individual found that the passenger side suspension was an inch lower than the driver side, and the passenger side strut was very rusted on top.Upon replacing the strut/spring assembly and the sway bar links for good measure, the issues I was having with my vehicle were no longer occurring.Complete waste of a diag fee for something I ended up diagnosing myself with painters tape, a tape measure, and looking at the struts in detail.Very disappointed.

We have been going to Progressive in Stafford for over 20 years. They have done us right every time. Billy, Marci and their crew are very hands on service. I m always greeted with a warm smile. I have been using Progressive for over 10 years. They are always the best for all the vehicles. Great staff, I can't begin to praise all of them as much as I would like to because that would take to long, They are busy but that shows me that they are pretty good. They are always great while you wait if you have to. Chairs to rock outside and take a chill pill. Progressive is always taking care of me and my car. They are truthful and are serious about offering the best advice and top of the line service. Great customer service as well, always very forthcoming and attentive! I never have to worry about them trying to lie to me about car issues in order to make more money. Highly highly recommend!

I cannot praise Billy, Marcy and the entire team enough. They are kind, courteous and give you timely updates. Finding this ethical, trustworthy auto repair shop was one of the great blessings of our first year after moving to this area in 1999 from Okinawa and then retiring from the Marine Corps. From the very first, Billy and the Progressive Team became true Partners in my goal of keeping all our cars in top notch shape for as long as possible. They proved over and over through over two decades that they would only do what my cars truly needed or what I specifically requested (and even then I could trust Billy to advise me to tailor my request to what he knew was best - usually sparing me unnecessary costs for premature preventative maintenance). Sometimes cars were returned without doing expensive repairs, despite my concerns over a noise or vibration, if it wasn t required - just cleaned up your brake pads and they d send me on my way with a warm smile, but more importantly with total confidence that I was in trusted hands. When I would take my cars in for recalls to local dealers, who would then tell me that all kinds of other maintenance was way passed due or had to be done immediately, Billy would set me straight and, when any of those things actually needed to be done, he planned it out with me, so I could budget for it and the work always cost less than two-thirds of what the dealer was going to charge me! Work has always been top quality and customer service folks, Marci and Luis, friendly, courteous and professional. Many times the cars are ready way ahead of the promised time when I drop it overnight for next day service without a set appointment. My entire family's three generations have all our vehicles serviced @Progressive and I refer everyone I know who is searching for an ethical, trustworthy, dependable, quality car care location. I don't like going to get work done on my car because I have trust issues with auto shops. They always seem to find something more I 'need' to have done. Progressive was recommended to me by a friend..he told me they are honest.Marcy was my first contact when I walked in...super friendly! Told her that I needed an oil change, blinker light replaced, and a check up.Dropped my car off this AM. They did the oil change, light, and filled my tires. Said I need work on my transmission, but I should take it to a specialist..gave me a name/number of a shop they recommend. He could have easily told me that he would do a flush and take me for $500..instead, he told me the flush could make it worse and actually explained it all to me. Told me I need new breaks and gave me a price, but didn't push that on me either.I am so happy that I took my car to Progressive Automotive and Tire!It's so hard to find an honest shop...this shop truly is!!!Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

I don t typically leave reviews, but for the last few years every time I take my car into Progressive I think, I really need to leave them a review! . The staff at Progressive in Stafford are so incredibly friendly and kind. They always go above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. They do great work and have fair prices. I have never had any issues with them and think they do a great job. The only problem is that they won't take outside parts (even if OEM part was obtained via VIN lookup). Otherwise, a great place to go to, and I'll go again.

Billy, Marci & the whole crew are amazing! We have gone to them for ~20 years and trust them to take care of us! This is type of place that remembers who your spouse is, your kids names, and bits of info you share in conversation. They will figure out whats wrong with your vehicle, and whats necessary vs. nice to have. You leave feeling truly taken care of!

This is why I take all of my vehicles to Progressive on Doc Stone road in Stafford. I had my daughter's F-150 in for inspections and brake work and while moving the vehicle it had a minor fender bender with another car. Billy contacted me immediately with a picture of the damage. I told him not to worry we could work it out the next morning when I picked up the car. Next morning he gave me the insurance contact info and they contacted me the next day. This was all over a scratch so small I would never have noticed it if he hadn't told me where it was. This is very typical of the honesty and commitment to customer service that you receive here. They have had my complete trust since the very first repair on my 2007 Mini Cooper when he could have charged $500 or more for replacing a sensor. They simply cleaned it, rechecked it on the computer, charged me $124 and it ran fine. I have had thousands of dollars in repairs done here and have never questioned whether or not they were necessary because when a repair isn't necessary he will tell you. Billy told me on my first visit that he only recommends what is necessary for the safe efficient operation of the vehicle. I don't kind having to make an appointment because that assures that my work will be done on schedule and they usually finish ahead of time. A trustworthy automotive repair shop is a rare treasure and I can't recommend them highly enough.

As usual, Progressive did a great job with my car. I wasn't sure eactly what was wrong, but they looked my car over and made suggestions on what I needed done, and what I might want to keep an eye on for the future. I didn't feel pressured to have repairs that I might not really need now, and the repairs that were made were done perfectly. They communicated what I needed well and professionally. Also....this isn't relevant to their repair expertise, but speaks more to customer service: they have the best, most comfortable waiting area I've ever been in :-)Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

I love them! They are fair, honest, well priced, great work. As a woman, Billy speaks to me so that I understand. Marcy is always friendly and ready to interpret. I have never had an issue with their service. They are my families' go to mechanic!!
