Pro-Tech did an excellent job repairing my wife's car after a front end collision. Veronica and Patrick were always polite and kept me informed through the repair process. It took a bit longer to repair than I had hoped but they informed me up front that it might. Overall I had a great experience and they worked with my insurance on any issues related to the repair process. I would definitely use them again if needed.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This place is phenomenal! Customer service is top notch. I went in for an estimate with same day appointment and took my car the following day for repair. I had my car back within a week and it look like it came off the showroom floor. I was very pleased with how fast and professional Pro- Tech was with handling the repair of my vehicle. I went to another place on Garrisonville first and it was a 3-4 week wait to get your car repaired and their quote was significantly more. They acted like I was a bother to even come out and give me an estimate. I had to call them several times to even get the quote for the estimate. I highly recommend Pro-Tech as your choice for repair. I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you and especially to Veronica whom I initially spoke to, she was very sweet and attentive to the needs that I asked about my vehicle. Keep up the good work!

My car was rear ended and the damage was minor to moderate. I took my car to Pro Tech on September 15, 2021 and it took them 3 months to finish the work. When I received my car in December, I noticed a fresh scratch and the guy told me to take it to the man shop to look at it. I had given my car to this address not the man shop to take it there. Their man shop is far and I did not have time to take it there. In addition, when I came home, I noticed they have forgotten to put some screws at the back. The overhead glasses holder compartment is also loose as you see in the picture. They have done a very poor assembly work. Please look at the picture and you can see the overhead glasses compartment looks right now. Their staff have damaged the screws and have just put the compartment their without screwing it properly . These are the issues that I have noticed. I now do not trust any work they have done to my car. When I took my car from them after 3 months, it smelled so bad and there were leaves inside. They even did not bother to clean the leaves. I guess the car was open in the open space and tree fell inside. Maybe rain and all those things caused the smell. The customer service never provided any helpful information regarding the repair and expected completion date.I cannot write more and in details but I think this will be enough.

I took my vehicle in to get a quote for a minor repair job. They provided the quote and when I asked how long the job would take, they said they could not tell me. I asked if it could take a day or a year or two and was told again that they could not give me an estimate of how long it would take.

I got hit on my bumper and the service was incredible. They set up an estimate very quickly, the receptionist was very kind the entire time and so was the estimator. They took my car immediately and got my car fixed in a week! I was so blown away at how quick I got my car back. And they HAND CLEANED my car! When I got my car back it looked literally brand new! They are slightly more expensive than other shops but it's worth it as I went to another shop that was a little cheaper but they said they couldn't pencil me in until end of the NEXT month. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to get their car back quick and looking better than ever!EDIT: I forgot to mention but they also cleaned my tires as well! They also cleaned the inside of my car too with cleaning the mats. They really went above and beyond!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Small scratch repair, they did an awesome job blending. They also cleaned my car! I planned on deep cleaning it and detailing after the repair, but the car looks brand new inside and out! Excellent service.

Terrible customer service had to call at least 20 times to check on my car and received 2 calls back after being told they would call be back every time. Ordered the wrong parts and took longer than they said. Overall bad experience. Do not recommend.

The only reason I'm not giving lower than 4-Stars is because of how amazing of a job they did. Be warned, your repairs will probably take 2 months to complete, no matter what their estimate is. Other than that, phenomenal work.

I had an awful experience with Pro-Tech Collision Center located at 171 Garrisonville Road, Stafford and would not recommend the business to anyone. My vehicle was rear-ended, I had to get an inspection and written estimate for repair. My auto insurer referred me to Pro-Tech Collision Center, LLC at 171 Garrisonville Road and stated afternoon appointments were available on May 29 (Memorial Day), and I asked since that Monday is a holiday the business will be opened? I was told yes and given an appointment. I arrived at the business on May 29 to find a sign posted, closed for Memorial Day holiday.I advised my auto insurer of the same, and received an apology that if the business was closed the system would not allow an appointment. I wanted someone to come to my home to perform the inspection and estimate of repair but was told that was not possible. I requested to go to the next closest collision center and unfortunately there wasn t one. I had to return to Pro-Tech Collision Center. I received an appointment for a different day. I arrived at the business, the receptionist stated she did not have my name for an appointment and she kept typing on the computer. She finally found my name and my statement that I wanted someone to come to my home for the inspection and estimate; than stated the auto insurer does not make appointments because that is the job of the business. After that mini-drama was over, the receptionist handed me a tablet to complete registration. I completed the registration with the exception of the last question, which asked how do you want to be updated on your repair text, telephone or email ? Those were the only choices so I did not select any because the business is not setting up the repair, I was and would have the ability to contact the repair place myself. If anything additional is needed, the repair place would contact either me or the adjuster to address any matters. Also, I did not want my information to be shared with anyone else that would bombard me with unwanted text messages, telephone calls or emails. I said the same to the receptionist and then to the person performing the inspection. There was no reassurance about my assumptions for declining to answer the last question and no other options were made available. It was select one of three methods for updates or forego the inspection.Since I did not and would not answer the last question, I was denied service. The entire situation was petty and a horrible way to run a business. Stay away from Pro-Tech Collision Center and their antics.

I am a local in Stafford, and Caliber Collision was my go to until they stopped accepting Geico so I decided to take my car to this place as my girlfriend had a good experience with them.Making an appointment: Too easy. Gentleman on the phone gave me options when to bring the car is. Set a date and that was it.Dropping car off: Again, gentleman attended to me at our agreed date. We went over the vehicle and identified existing scratches, marks, etc. prior to taking the vehicle in.Repair process: During the beginning of the tear down of the vehicle, the shop notified me of additional damages not identified by the insurance adjuster. They worked with my insurance and got the approval they will cover it. Communication was pretty simple. I would receive updates 2x/week via text (my preference).Duration: It took about a 1.5 months to repair my vehicle. I know to some, this may be a long time especially when renting another vehicle however I'd rather have a shop take their time and do it right.Pick up: Received a call letting me know my vehicle is ready and if I can pick up today or when I am available (car would just be at the shop). I decided to pick up that day. I paid my deductible, looked over the car and pretty satisfied with the work they did. They even washed and cleaned the interior of my car. Outstanding.Overall: I am very pleased. And I would not hesitate to take any of my vehicles there again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Please read the negative reviews and STAY AWAY!!!! First off... they take way too long to repair your vehicle. I took my sons BWM in to have repairs done the the front end of his vehicle. With the exception of the front head lamps, the vehicle was completely drivable. the vehicle was driven from the stafford virginia office to the shop in Falmouth virginia, and there were no mechanical issues reported. They had the vehicle for over a month. When my son picked the vehicle up on a friday he noticed a loud grinding sound coming from the front of the vehicle. He recorded the sound and sent me the video. As a precaution, I had him return home and park the vehicle. We tried to contact them the next day but they were closed. When I personally inspected the vehicle I noticed that the left front brake pad was literally sticking to the rotor. We took it to another mechanic for and inspection and the mechanic said he could not remove the tire because one of the lug nuts was not removable. After a visual inspection the mechanic stated that it appears that the caliper on the left had been tightened so tight that it was destroying the pad and rotor due to the tremendous of heat being generated.I took the vehicle back to PRO Tech on Monday and the the manager on site immediately began to shift the blame. He claimed that this was the result of months of wear and tear, even though they drove it at least 12 - 24 miles, and did not report a single issue. None of the other brakes have any problems. They all have over 50% remaining on the other brake pads.Additionally the "NEW Bumper" they installed is defective. The door that is used to access the toe hook in the front, is already falling apart. Again, the manager claimed that this is normal (I tried to post a video, but the file is too big.)Even if this was normal wear and tear, the mechanic should have identified this in his inspection or when he was driving it. The sound is way too obvious to ignore.Very unprofessional, poor craftsmanship, no quality control.... USAA should remove them from their list of approved vendors ASAP!!!!!Services: Body & Trim, Brakes

The most rudest customer service my family has ever received came from the OWNER of this establishment "Mike". Our mother's vehicle has been with them for nearing 2 months. There has been very minimal communication. Her car had been promised to her on 5 different occasions since she brought it to them & they failed to deliver. Mike & his associates were extremely rude to our family when we asked specific questions about the work being done & length of time it would take to complete it. I WOULD NOT recommend this facility to anyone! And after seeing so many other negative reviews it just confirms that this business should no longer be in business. This 1 star rating is not accurate for this business they deserve ZERO stars! Just awful..Service: Body & Trim

The absolutely worst auto shop I have ever been to. They were late on their work, lacked in communication, and we had loads of issues after receiving the car back. When I called them I got the same issues they were working on for 3 days straight. When I finally picked up the car, I was notified the next day that it was ready for pick up they have no idea what s going on. You must avoid this place at all costs. Stay away!

Avoid this place at all costs! First of all the service takes weeks! to do. they had our Jeep for almost a month to repair a bumper and change a tire. The managers are rude and unprofessional. The system for updating you is never right telling us that we were getting out Jeep painted (it never was or got painted) for weeks. Then they call us 1-hr before they close to tell us that its ready "early" and if we don't pick up they are not covering rental car for another day, again rude about the whole process. not to mention somehow using ALL the freaking gas in the jeep. dropped it off with over 3-quarters tank to have it bone dry and barely able to make it home! I will be notifying insurance company and recommending the shop removed from their approved list.Services: Tires, Body & Trim

JUST DONT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. THERE IS A REASON THERE ARE MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS. SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICESEDIT Aug 10 2022- Frank Rose(Pro-Tech Manager) promised to pay for the Enterprise Rental overage ~$280 when I picked up my vehicle in late July. Come today 8/10/22 I have been charged by Enterprise because they said Frank Rose never called to take over the charges.Edit - July 25- after calling for over 3 days i finally got ahold of Frank Rose(Pro-Tech manager) on July 19th. He said the vehicle would be complete on July 22. Well, that came and went with no vehicleWish I listened to others that negatively reviewed this business. Absolutely useless business that does not follow any sort of timeline quotes and works slower just to charge insurance companies more. Initial quote was for 6 days. That was June 28th. Here we are July 19th. For not so major vehicle fixes. They have far surpassed what USAA covers for vehicle rentals and will not assist in any way when the recent delays are because they are at fault . (On the final day. (So they say) They broke the tailgate glass which added an additional 2 days and again, will not cover any additional costs for a rental.)Only contact they give is a 15 second phone call every 2 days saying they will call again in 2 days to give another update. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS BUSINESS and go to others close by.

My car was his from the front, I brought it to this shop on 06/28/2022. I did not get my car back until 8/12/2022. The staff is completely rude, service took way to long for the little damage it had and car was filthy when I picked it up. All they were worried about was payment every time I called them! Please stay away from this place of business! I paid cash for my insurance deductible and the man up front complained about the fact that I brought cash in on a Friday.. I mean isn t cash just as good as a check from my insurance company?Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim

Postive experience and great customer service. The repair work was top notch, the body work and paint job are spot on, definitely recommend Pro-Tech. One of the best customer service features I have ever seen in repair situation: The email updates of the progress of our car, it was fantastic! We knew where our car was in the entire process and didn't have to call or feel left in the dark of when it was going to be done. I wish more repair shops would do this when keeping your car for a longer period of time.

Pro-Tech did an excellent job on my truck. I was anxious since the truck was so new and needed significant paint work. They kept me notified with their automated update system and everything looked great when they finished. Patrick did an outstanding job and I wouldn t hesitate to use them again.

Before considering using Pro-Tech Collision for your body repair needs BEWARE & USE EXTREME CAUTION when dealing with this business. After checking my car in for repairs on October 11th 2021 after my car was rear ended at the end of July 2021, it took almost an entire 2 months for them to complete repairs. In December on a Tuesday I received an email that my vehicle repairs were nearing completion and that someone would contact me to arrange pick-up of my vehicle. Two days then passed and I recieved no phone call and was unable to reach anyone in the office via phone. That Thursday I received a very nasty voicemail accusing me of picking up my vehicle and still having a balance due for deductible and my Geico disbursement.I immediately called pro-tech collision and informed them that I did not pick up my vehicle and had been waiting for them to confirm pick-up time.Shortly after I ended that call I received a phone call from the owner Mike Webster letting me know they didn't know where my car was located and he feared it may have been stolen after it was left in their UNSECURED lot at their garrisonville rd location. He was very apologetic and informed me a similar incident happened at their UNSECURED lot when a repaired vehicle was vandalized after a person tried removing a custom grill on a vehicle, but was later arrested and awaiting trial. He let me know they would immediately review their "state of the art" security footage at that location and were in contact with the Stafford County Sheriff Department. He also asked me if it was possible that my car could have been repossessed from their location in which I replied to him no, which at the time seemed like a very bizarre question being that my car had been missing from their UNSECURE lot for 2 days without them even realizing it prior to me telling them I indeed did not pick up the vehicle.A few hours later, the owner Mike Webster called me back and verified that he believed my car was repoed after reviewing camera footage and seeing a tow company company remove my vehicle from their UNSECURE lot after verifying my VIN.He then went on a verbal tirade against me over the phone, accusing me of sending pro-tech collision on a wild goose chase and knowing all along my car was repoed. I explained to him that I had filed for bankruptcy and had an active case and my auto finance company was barred from repossessing my vehicle during these proceedings according to federal & virginia law. He then repeatedly called me a liar and told me that this was somehow planned by me. Despite the fact, I was sent in a panic when THEY told me my car was stolen from their UNSECURED lot and THEY reached out to the appropriate authorities. He also then demanded immediate payment for the repairs without me even being able to verify the repairs were made and NO IDEA where my vehicle was now located. After I REFUSED to make a payment before I could VERIFY the repairs were completed as agreed upon and to my SATISFACTION, Mike Webster (Owner) informed me they had video/photos of the repairs made, but failed to ever provide them to me. After mentioning this, Mike Webster (Owner) began to threaten legal action against me through his attorney and promised me he would "get his money" regardless.Mike's demeanor was completely unprofessional and caused me great mental distress and frustration. It was clear to me after initially taking full responsibility for my car being missing, once he had the opportunity to place the blame on me, he tried to use that to intimidate me.After getting in contact with my Bankruptcy Attorney who the owner accused me of never having, I was able to get my car released back in my possession and it was indeed the case that it should have never been towed from their UNSECURE lot in the first place.I have yet to hear back from his attorney regarding remaining payment (deductice) and REFUSE to make any payment to this business until they rectify this NIGHTMARE.You've been WARNED, do business with Mike Webster & Pro-Tech Collision at your own RISK...Service: Body & Trim

I can t say enough positive things about this place. This was my first experience with ProTech, and it was great!! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The service was quick with competitive pricing. Their work is impeccable - my car looks like it was never hit!! I loved the email updates! I never had to call for updates, as I always knew where my car was in the process. As unpleasant as car repairs can be, this was a wonderful experience and if I need work again in the future, I will definitely return to ProTech!

Worst experience!!! Stay away! Patrick Kem conducted a terrible estimate. Only took pictures, didn't ask where the damage occurred or anything. At the end he simply told me that he was not able to do an estimate. He then send the insurance an estimate for $50. Very shady business practices.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

The center located in Stafford was super professional & worth a 5 star rating. Both the office manager & assigned adjuster were super. Unfortunately their management staff are pretty much worthless with clearly no focus on customer service or resolving issues quickly once identified. After what I surely believed was going to be a 5 stat experience I left feeling their error was mine. The management team also does not value every customer, if there's a problem you're just seen as something that should be quiet & just leave their office. If your interaction does not have to include the office away from Stafford please consider Pro-Tech, but be warned if you have an issue that cant be handled locally you will be left regretting your decision...
