Fast, were able to do a PPI for me with a quick turnaround for only 99$. Very detailed, complete with pictures and a whole checklist with explanations. Very patient with making sure I gave them the right email and everything to. Would recommend, definitely going to keep them in mind in the future if I need something done in Stafford.Service: Vehicle Inspection

This place is the best, most honest car repair place I have ever used. I am old,71, and have had a lot of car repairs done. This M&J Auto Repair has been a Godsend to me. I was referred to MJ just over a year ago and he has been just the best. He doesn t overcharge you for things you re vehicle does not need. He s always professional and friendly. He gives you lots of options and works with you and your budget. Overall Great Guy. I love taking my car here and you will too. Awesome service from these guys. Came back from vacation and was stranded at the airport with a dead battery. Three different methods and couldn t get it started. Had it towed to this shop, not knowing much about it. These guys were able to get it started and replaced my battery for a fairly reasonable price. Dropped my car off late on a Saturday night. Monday afternoon, they called and said it was ready to pick up (they aren t open on Sundays). Super quick service. I didn t realize they closed at 5 and I called them at 5:20 and they stayed late so that I could pick my car up after work. Amazing service on the car, amazing customer service. Highly recommend MJ to anyone needing auto repairs.

I cannot speak highly enough of MJ--especially given my bumpy experience with other mechanics. I am SO glad to have finally found a mechanic shop built on integrity AND competence! MJ promptly inspected my battery system with NO crazy up-front diagnostic fee and then replaced my 2005 failing alternator the same day with a high-quality one for an excellent price (part and labor). He goes above and beyond--way beyond his competition, who really, is no competition at all. Great service. Good prices compared to other places I checked with nearby. I had brakes and rotors replaced and maintenance done on my Honda civic. They were done sooner than expected so it was an easy and efficient experience. Excellent! Above and beyond!!I got an estimate for exhaust replacement from another place (my exhaust was rusted and leaking). The pricing was crazy high! I called MJ and he told me to bring it in and he'd give me an estimate free of charge (I've never been to MJ Repair before). When I got there I was greeted immediately by MJ himself and within 10min, he had my car on a lift and showed me the issue. It was leaking right next to my gas tank, which he said was concerning/dangerous because of the heat(the other place didn't explain/show me any of this)! He advised that I get it fixed as soon as possible because of this hazzard. He promptly looked up the parts and gave me a very reasonable price. He said the part was in Alexandria, but he would have it that afternoon if I'd like to go ahead with the replacement. He had it done before closing that same day! This is what outstanding customer service looks like. A rare commodity these days. He took the time to explain and showed genuine concern. Highly recommend!! Thank you SO much MJ!! MJ AUTO:IS THE BEST, MOST PROFESSIONAL AMAZING CAR MECHANIC AND SHOP EVER KNOWN TO MAN!!!! Thank god my husband previously tried him out and referred me to him. It was a breeze booking an appointment. From the moment we pulled up we were greeted with big smiles and warm friendly welcomes. His shop is extremely well maintained clean and modern. MJ and his assistant were so friendly and knowledgeable, both of them made us feel right at home and very reassured with MJ's confidence. After handing MJ a lengthy list of car repairs he confidently accepted it without hesitation and said "great we will call you when we are finished". Never in a million years would i ever expect he would call me within an hour of dropping off my car and he quoted such a mIRACULOUS price for labor and parts! He was so honest too! I had asked if I needed a certain service done and he politely educated me on what that service was for and looked into and then told me i actually didn't need it! OMMMMGGG A MECHANIC THAT IS PLEASANT, SOCIALLY SKILLED AND HONEST!!!!! Yes ladies and gents MJ IS ALL OF THOSE AND MORE!!! MJ truly is heaven sent! Can I also just highlight that all repairs he quoted would only take a day to complete AT MOST and at best I could pick my car up later that day! (I was able to pick my car up same day!) I wish MJ Auto would franchise and become the only car shop available-- he is literally that great! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU MJ so much for all of your amazing work and AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You will deff have customers for life! Best shop around !!!I don t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so. The service there was quick and done well. MJ is a really honest man. I had an estimate done at another shop. First MJ s price was much less than theirs, then he told me that my car didn t need one of the parts that the other guys were charging me for.My wife dropped the car off( I was at work) around noon and it was ready by the end of the day, they also gave my wife a ride home. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone in need of repairs.

Called the shop and spoke to MJ for a pre-inspection of a used car that I'm looking at that day (I live in MD about 1 and half hour away). He was very pleasant on the phone. Brought the car in and he did his diagnostic at a reasonable time. I was truly satisfied with what he found and that he was honest! I highly recommend his work and his shop.

I was having issues with my radio and months of it not working. I brought it in and he found the issue super quick! Super happy I went to him. He was quick and got the problem fixed in time for me to go to work! His prices are also great! It was very fair. If I have future problems I ll be taking my car back in the future! MJ and Zawad was very professional and quick at their work. they explained the process and finished service before time. price was very reasonable. Appointment is preferred so i booked appointment and they started on time. Highly Recommended!!!! 10/10

We took our Buick Enclave to MJ Auto Repair to replace the brakes. Not only did he replace the brakes but provided us with quotes for other services that we would need. He gave us an estimate for the work and wasn't pushy about getting it done the same day. My husband and I are satisfied customers and will definitely return for more work on our cars.

OUTSTANDING automotive and customer service.This is my first visit to MJ Auto Repair. I m bummed I hadn t found this place sooner. It will NOT be my last visit (huge smiley)! Significant overhaul on my car needed, and MJ took GREAT care of me. Fair pricing, excellent service with a side order of sage advice. Highest recommendations!!!

Awesome Gentlemen that runs this place. Our son is stationed there, His pick-ups transmission went out. He had it fixed and did brakes and an Oil Change in just a couple of Days. His Pricing for doing the jobs was more than generous. Thank You so much for your kindness and taking payment over the phone since we are so far away. So glad to know that there are Good People up there.

My son had a brake caliper seize on him while driving down 95 to Lake Anna on the Friday before Labor Day. Luckily, he was able to have AAA tow the truck to MJ Auto repair. I met him there, and they were able to find the part and repair the truck in about 2 hours! A very reasonable price, quick service, and professional job. Great place!

Great place,and good mechanic. I am glad I found that place.i received a great diagnostic and all the different options to fix my car's issue.the price was great too and the service fast. Don't look for another place this is the best in that area.

I have a 2007 Toyota Prius - the water pump was leaking. The Toyota dealership wanted about $650 parts and labor ... I said no and started looking and found MJ ... even though I live in Bowie MD I took it there because I had some work to do in VA. They replaced the water pump and did some other stuff the car needed - the water pump replacement with new belt etc was a little over $300 so about half the dealership costs. The car is running great. I definitely will go back. Honest shop ... smart friendly mechanics.

Out brakes tied up at 5:45, and we managed to roll into the shop just as he was ready to close. It was very important for us to be able to get on our way. MJ Auto Repair did everything possible to make that happen. He even went to a neighboring town to get the part we needed. We are so very thankful for their services and going above and beyond what was expected! Thank you Jawid!!! You were a God send!!
