Customer service is cold, I can feel it when the reception lady talk to me. Because her tone totally changed when talk to another customer with soft and warm greetings and smiles. That made me feel like I was not welcomed. And I was given a quote to fix my car for over three hundred while I paid a hundred got it fixed at another store. I know I will not go there again.

saved me $1000's. $14,000 to be exact. I had them do a pre purchase inspection on 2 cars, and informed me they shouldn't have been on the road. Everyone working was great! the lady behind the Counter was so nice, and the guy doing the inspection was super knowledgeable. It was in the last hour of business too.

Had my exhaust looked at and the team was very knowledgeable. Also, easy to work with and great communication skills. Meineke has always helped me with with my cars. Thank you meineke team.

The people were nice, that's why 2 stars as opposed to 1. Went to get a state inspection and was told I need two modifications to pass inspection and it would cost $500, the two modifications were a light bulb change and an emergency brake tightening. I declined and said I'd get a second opinion before shelling that kind of money on what should be a $20 inspection. When I went to get a second opinion I took it to another more reputable place in town the next day with much better reviews and word of mouth, and this second place passed it with flying colors. I'm not claiming anything sinister or nefarious, more that meineke may just not have very experienced technicians. I will never return to meineke.

They took my car same day walk-in for the state inspection in few minutes, I didn't have to wait long. I m satisfied with this service that in others place is just for appointment but I love Meineke. Thank you guys for making it smooth.

I needed brakes on my car and this place did a great job. They inspected my brakes told me what I would need and discussed the price. Service was very good.

Thank you for being there! Went to visit my daughter in Virginia from CA and on a trip to DC her car had a major issue on the way back day before Christmas eve. We were still 3 hours from her home but tow truck took to Meineke and said they would take care of us. They called with issue to fix, were honest with price and even followed up with my daughter on how her car is running. As a father, that meant the world to me. Thank you so much!

Went in for state inspection for my son's car, said I needed new lights and that our power steering fluid didn't meet VA requirements. Funny thing was, is those headlights were the brightest in the neighborhood before. Fixed everything for a whopping $415. Now my son's car is off putting a smell of power steering fluid. makes me think they spilled it all over the engine. I am taking the car to the dealership now to see if they messed anything up. I don't recommend this shop. Better off going to a dealer for any of your needs. I do not recommend. Will update this review once the dealership has advised us on the work completed. Should the dealer indicate you all did more harm, than good, will be opening a complaint with VA consumer services and opening a complaint with your corporate office. Thank you

I m extremely, extremely satisfied with the service I received from Meineke! Meineke is a great car center and performs great services. I would also like to give a shout-out to Luke. I have been lucky to have him as my mechanic/technician the three times I took my vehicle for service. He is the epitome of customer service from the work he does on the vehicle, communicating the service performed, and following-up to ensure customer satisfaction. Luke is definitely worthy of some recognition, perhaps Employee of the Month or any other rewards Meineke offers to their awesome employees.

I have been harassed by an excessive amount of text and emails to write a review so here is what they get. I went in for a state inspection and was told I had a light out and the battery was loss. they charged me 100 dollars to change the light and tighten a bolt. When the receptionist sat down to tell me these two simple things were wrong she acted like my car was going to explode if it was not fixed immediately.The appointment times on the website are also not honored, so don't bother making one.

You tried to rip me off. I only needed tires and brakes. Your was trying to sell me rotors and 4 tires and I only needed two and the 2 was not bad enough to give me a rejection sticker. Try to charge me 2,000.00 worth of nothing that I needed. Just two front tires.and front and back brakes. Yes my brakes were 3cm my front was 5 cm. Is that what you do to old people who live on a budget. I wanna give you zero rating but you will not let me post it

I thought I was getting a normal price for my oil change and then I spoke to some coworkers about it and they said it was extremely high. I called the Volkswagen dealership and they said if I had gone there to get my oil change it would have been no more than $160 for my 2019 Tiguan. Meineke charged me $206 which already included a $20 off coupon. The lady originally said the cost would be $125 for the synthetic plus (Pic attached). Then the bill came out with an additional $90 labor fee which she never mentioned (Pic attached). This is robbery and totally took advantage of me. Again, how come the actual dealership told me their total wouldn't exceed $160? I will never go to back to Meineke and not recommend them to anyone.

My brakes were making a funky noise and I brought my car in to be checked out. Meineke got it diagnosed quickly and fixed the same day. We ll definitely be bringing our cars here in the future. Thanks Meineke!

Terrible customer service. Me and my husband went inside early Saturday morning to get a state inspection. They have a big sign out front and on the door that they perform state inspections. When I got inside I said good morning and got no reply I told the lady we were there to get state inspections she said I m not doing anymore with no explanation. She started talking to the next customer we walked out.

The same repetitive things keeps happening over and over and over again and management does not care because I believe they are training their inspectors to rip people off. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE IN FOR AN INSPECTION. I TOOK MY VEHICLE HERE TO GE AN INSPECTION. They said i had an exhaust leak. I took it to two other mechanics and both of them said there was not an exhaust leak. They will cherry pick and if you are one of the lucky ones they want to rip off, they will rip you off.

Tried to charge me $250 for lug nuts.I was getting an oil change and a tire rotation which was already $211. They called me and told me I needed new lug nuts because they were scared that if they removed the ones on the car then they may not be able to get them back on. I asked how much it would be and they said with the lug nuts the new price would be $574. I said no I ll do them myself and just to cancel the tire rotation if they were scared they couldn t get the lug nuts back on. Then their story changed to, well we got them off and back on so we did the tire rotation already but we are afraid we won t be able to get them back on next time I came in. I still said no to the new lug nuts which seemed to irritate them, by them I mean the front desk person and some guy in the background talking to the front desk person; which I assume is the manager I had seen in the lobby earlier.I won t be going back to this company for anything and hope other people learn from this too. Definitely price gouging to rip people off, not being transparent and honest in their assessments when they changed their story about the lug nuts, and then irritated when I turned down the extra work.

This place is an insult to Auto industry. They are over priced on everything. I believe in paying for good service but not $200.00 for an oil change!! I will not visit another store with that name and I will also tell others to avoid this place!!

Service was ok. I was disappointed with the packages they offer. The plus + package clearly states tires would be rotated. But then I was told that wasn't the case, and I had to pay extra to get that service done. False advertisement!!! Oil change cost was $216 full synthetic total. So before you choose a package find out what's included, even if it states it is included.

They are scammers, failed both my wife's and my car for exhaust leak, took it somewhere else and both passed inspection with no questions. Owner of other shop said absolutely no exhaust leak. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, IT IS A MONEY PIT

Went for front headlight out at 5:45 pm. Was charged for over 1 hour of labor and the lightbulb cost was $250. Total charge for a light bulb replacement was just under $500. Fast forward to my car needing to get safety inspection. Car failed safety inspection due to Meineke Stafford location putting in the wrong bulb. Exxon location in Vienna, VA charged for .2 labor hours which was 5 times less and $98 for the light bulb which was $150 less. This shop screws people over

I have been disgusted by the service I have received here. I believe this place has nothing but the goal of conducting a MONEY grab from people new to the state of Virginia requiring state inspection for tag transfer. THESE PEOPLE failed me on my first attempt and submitted to me an estimate for $1200 in repairs before I can pass. Outside of paying the $20 inspection fee I would NOT give this place a dime for a glass of water. I completed the recommended repairs and returned for a second inspection and this place failed me again and provided me an estimate for $1016 in work that needed to be completed. Which again I WOULD never give to a money grabbing business. I find their approach to state inspection services to be unethical and opportunistic. If anyone has had a similar experience of multiple state inspection fails with this place I suggest you report them to the VA attorney General. They are terrible and untrustworthy.

Rachel and the Service Manager went above and beyond explaining the cost and reasons for the recommended repairs. The team built rapport and trust during our conversations. It is very rare to have a positive customer service experience. I will be back.

Went in because I was hoping to save some money, BIG MISTAKE!.Wanted to get my muffler welding on and informed them that other shop quoted me $150.Rep stated that there is a diagnosis fee of $49 and if I do the work it would be waved.Hesitant do it the shop manager said that they will price match, so agreed.Took them about a minute to put my car on the lift and had to wait for at-lease 20 minutes while the shop-Manager and the office rep carried on their personal conversation.Eventually he looked at it and stated that he could not do it for no les than $300, giving me this huge excuse on it will take hrs and how much he would have to do.He then said I should go back to the shop that quoted me $150.When I went for my key they said I still have to pay for the diagnostics due to lift time!And will not waive it even though they said that they will price match.This location is a scam and they will lie to steal your money.On a side note I was able to find a shop in Manassas (Vegas Auto Repair), Who has a great employees and took care of me right away.Also they only charged me $120 and did the work in less than 20 minutes.I double checked it and it looks great.Don't take your business to Meineke (RipOff! & Thieves!)Service: Exhaust
