I have spent so much money on rentals here it s sad for most of my experiences to be for less than even a 1 star deserves. during Covid I ended up with a rental from Christiansburg location that was not cleaned and even after that horrible experience and many others I ve still rented from here but I swear, enterprise and their policies are less than ideal for people and they don t much care about the person as much as the bottom dollar like every other big industry. The time for pickup and being put as inactive for not being able to get there is ridiculous. I swear if I had other options that worked I would take it in a heart beat.

Awesome customer service. I wrecked my vehicle about a month ago and had to rent from them for a total of 3 weeks. They kept it the same rate for the whole 3 weeks even tho their prices went up online. Highly recommended. When you go in ask for Jordan.

Possibly the WORST Company I've ever dealt with. RESERVED a car from Radford to Virginia Beach days before I needed it. It was CONFIRMED! On the morning of my rental, I rec'd a call stating that they not only didn't have the car I RESERVED, but they had NO CARS AT ALL!. I was stranded in Radford and my wife was having surgery the next day. I admit to a curse word coming out due to the baffling news and immediate worry about getting home, but the guy just hung up on me. Unbelievable! Unfortunately, Enterprise is the only rent a car Co. any where near Radford so I had to call a different Enterprise that was fairly close by. I "Reserved" another car so I was back on track and no longer stressed and worried about getting home. 10 minutes later I rec'd a call stating that they also didn't have any cars. Why did they even give me a reservation if they had no cars? It gets even worse. I called another Enterprise in Roanoke (about 40 minutes away from Radford) and explained what happened. The girl was extremely apologetic but ASSURED me that she did have a car for me, I'd just have to drive the 40 minutes to get it. She even told me the EXACT car I was renting. So, happy and not worried again, I had my Son drive me all the way there and just before arriving I rec'd another call telling me they didn't have a car. OMG! Clearly, "Reservations" mean NOTHING to them. I ended up having to borrow my Sons car to drive 5 hours home so I could be at my wife's surgery. Then I had to have a friend follow me back to Radford a week later to return my Sons car. I've never even received an apology from any of the three Enterprises. They simply don't care. Terrible business and I highly advise anyone to NEVER "Reserve" a car with them because the 'Reservation" is not worth the paper it's written on, and their attitudes are completely care-free and unapologetic. This company doesn't even deserve to be in business. I'll walk before I ever use them again (sorry, I should say before I ATTEMPT to use them). Garbage!

I've rented from this location twice so far this year, and have another vacation rental coming up in a month. I cannot stress enough how helpful, considerate, and friendly they are here. If you're lucky, Jordan will be there when you need a rental. This is the nicest, most professional and helpful young man I've encountered in forever! I hope his managers are reading this - give this guy a BIG RAISE! He's a true asset to your company! This office is located on site at Harvey's Chevrolet in Radford.

Extremely unsatisfied with local office and customer service line. Booked a rental, was not told I needed to come before a certain time. Arrived and it was canceled without a single car to book instead. My issue is that my card & contact information was file, why not contact your customers to confirm a no-show, especially when you don't have any cars to rent. Not proactive, too casual and "empathy" was not authentic.

I have used the Radford location many times and have always been pleased with their service and professionalism. They honor my corporate account with Virginia Tech, which is wonderful. My only complaint this time was the actual car--a Toyota Corolla-- which was a bit uncomfortable with no lumbar support, it hesitated on acceleration, and the cruise control did not work well. I don't see this as the rental agency site's fault but more the vehicle design. Next time I will try a different mid-sized car.

Jordan and Thomas were a pleasure to work with! I had to rent a car via my insurance after an accident and these two gentleman had my back though the entire process. My insurance extended my rental and told me it was all paid for. Thomas made sure to call and let me know about the extension but a portion of the extension was going to be outta my pocket. My insurance did not mention that part, but thanks to Thomas going out of his way to call me I was able to budget and return the rental within my budget. I even got confused on the day and was charged more then what I thought (it was totally my misunderstanding, my fault) so I called Jordan explaining the price I thought it would be, turned out I was wrong but Jordan so graciously refunded me anyways! They even complimented the condition of the truck when I brought it back and gave me my deposit back too! Enterprise in Radford, VA is the ONLY place to get a rental! 10/10

So with a explanation of why I gave such a low score you must first understand dynamics. I try very hard to give an unbiased opinion but Enterprise has created their own mess by not following certain criteria they could/should have taken into account. First with the Pandemic. Accounts for car rentals bottomed out because nobody was renting cards, flying on planes or traveling anywhere. Then came the return. Now with ( still an observation ) that Coronavirus still present the US has tried to bounce back for a Full return. In between those times Enterprise sold an over abundance of vehicles at below cost prices to unload used vehicles to the public. And now the conclusion. The mess Enterprise has created is even BIGGER than before. People have rental needs and no vehicles to rent. Even if you have a reservation it does not matter. They cannot fulfill the order of supply & demand. It's understandable. But now do you know the customer are not Happy with the company? Well they are. So chalk it up to Observation of what not to do next time. Thank You and Hopefully the review helps.

Jordan was amazing to work with. He made the rental experience with an insurance claim very easy literally handed me the keys and paperwork as I arrived. I highly recommend working with him

Top notch service!I had to get unplanned repairs on my company vehicle. No enterprise locations nearby had spare vehicles at the time but the manager at this location went the extra mile to let us know he'd have some returns that afternoon and would call when he knew for sure. He called a bit later and delivered on the promise!! Also they agreed to drive me back to my car when it was fixed and it was well out of their normal delivery range. Will be using this location for all my rental needs moving forward.

The staff at Enterprise was quick and efficient when I arrived to pick up my car. I was hesitant to drive a hybrid vehicle but they quickly put me at ease. The car was wonderful to drive. Comfortable both front and back for me and my daughter. Great gas mileage and the navigation saved us more than once.Thank you again for such a great experience.

Everyone I interacted with was very nice. I had no problems with the vehicle I rented.Here is what didn't go well.....I reserved the car on line and had a quoted price. When I picked the car up, I failed to bring the quote. The price I was provided at the rental point sounded substantially higher than the quote. When told this the agent immediately gave a 5% discount. I didn't have the original quote so I left it at that. When I got home, I found that even with the 5% discount, I was billed $31 more than the quote. When I returned the car one day early, an agent called to follow up on my experience. When I told him my quote was still $31 lower than I was billed, he immediately agreed to refund the difference. All very good but here's the real question - How can it be that I have a reservation which the location had on file when I got there but they didn't charge me that price? I'd expect their computer system to register the entire reservation. If you reserve a car and have a quoted price, be sure to bring that with you.

Out of 4 reservations ive made online or through the 800 number this enterprise office has canceled 3. The fourth onw after I reserved a particular car (it was about the size not the model or brand) the enterprise agent tried to convince me that a Mitsubishi Mirage was bigger than the full size vehicle i had reserved , also after I pressed for the type of vehicle i had reserved i got it, only for it to have scratches, dents, crumbs and stains on the front and back seats as well as an empty cigarette pack found by my kids... . I did call and reportes thid and i was told i was going to be given a discount which it didnt happen when I returned it.

This is a really great location to rent a vehicle! The customer service was amazing and they went above and beyond to make sure I was in the vehicle I wanted. The vehicle choices were great and very clean. I highly recommend using this Enterprise location if you are in need of a rental!

Very efficient rental process, with COVID19 precautions in place. The rental took a matter of minutes and I was on the road! Although the small cargo van I had wanted was not available, the agent was able to suggest a couple of alternatives. The Nissan passenger minivan worked out well. Return check-in after hours was just as easy. I promptly received an electronic receipt early the next morning.

Representative was pleasant when I checked in. There was no manual in the car so it took the entire trip to find features like cruise control. The air conditioner was not very good in the vehicle and I never got my phone connected. I returned my car after hours, but before it was due back. They tried to charge an extra day. Hoping our administrative assistant got this worked out!

I was very pleased with the vehicle and the staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. I returned my car to their location early on a Friday afternoon and they gave me a ride back to my vehicle which was parked at my job. I will definitely use enterprise again and would highly recommend to anyone.

Needed a vehicle while mine was going to the shop for a while, in the beginning they didn't have a car similar to mine, so I left and within an hour they called and had a car heading in. They acted professionally and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, highly recommended

Hit a deer at 2:00 in the morning. Spent the night in a Radford motel then walked over to Enterprise. The team there had me in a car within 15 minutes. After a week, I called and asked for a smaller car to reduce cost. Drove 3 hours to get there and no smaller car was available. No problem! The team cut my daily price to match that lower cost vehicle. Saved money and kept the mid-size I was already driving. The entire team was OUTSTANDING. When I walked in 3 weeks later to return the rental they actually knew my name which impressed me. Great team!!

No problem reserving a car. Even got the color of car my wife suggested. Clean vehicles; late models (unlike clunkers found in some other car rental agencies). The staff is super nice too. Friendly and professional. The rates are affordable too. Can't beat that with a stick. Tell them Nino sent you.

I rent a SUV Suburban style every year and pay the same way every time. I ordered a SUV in person about a month ago! They call today and said I had to pick it up in Christiansburg. So I go to Christiansburg but they won't let me have the car because I use a debit card not a CC card, even though this is exactly how I pay every year. Now I have no way to get to Florida tomorrow with all the teens. No warning ! Nothing. I couldn't pay cash I couldn't show proof of insurance, I couldn't turn over the title to my car, I couldn't use someone else's credit card, I couldn't write a check! Terrible

Customer Service was and always is excellent. I just don't understand how your prices have jumped so high just in the last year. I rent from Enterprise about 4 times a year and prices have gone from 19.99 per daywhen I started 3 years ago to 66.00 per day just in the last year. That is just a ridiculous increase.

my experience was awesome! It was my first time renting from Enterprise. Stephanie was very friendly & extremely helpful. Definitely looking forward to renting next time! 4/5 because the brakes were loose.

The car itself was very nice and the people were friendly. The guy at the counter told me there was a $100 holding fee that would be removed when I returned the car. Well I was still charged the extra $100 fee even though I brought the car back in the same condition I received it in

I have utilized this location a couple of times for business. It is hit or miss on the service, they tend not to look at my preferences of vehicle or seem to not care. I specifically do not like Hyundai cars because of poor craftsmanship. They gave me a Hyundai the last time I rented there. I returned the car but forgot my sunglasses in the console, I called and asked for them but the vehicle was in for an oil change and they would call me after the service was completed, nope, no sunglasses...I know they were in the car so someone just kept them at the location. Overall a poor experience from the service that was provided this last time. I will not be returning in the future to rent from this location.
