Walked-in and got State inspection done in less than 15 mins. Josh was very kind and helpful on the phone. Tammy??? I believe was her name, also very kind and helpful. The mechanic that performed my inspection was extremely polite and efficient.

The best garage in Stafford, Va by far. Friendly service and my repair was done super quick and was very inexpensive. I would highly recommend them.

My family has used Eddie's for more than 30 years. They have kept multiple generations of our cars on the road. They do good work and are very flexible with you dropping your car off and leaving it parked for awhile before picking it up. Stafford county uses this repair shop for the Sheriff's cruisers and other municipal vehicles. That should tell you all you need to know.

I went here for safety inspection. They were fast. They dont take appointment for this, it is walk in only. They open at 8am on weekdays. First come first serve.Side note: They also take old used car oil here.

Had a wonderful experience. Well, the business was wonderful, my circumstances not so much. Got Eddie's via AAA yesterday and towed to the AAA on plank road. Lyndon (I believe, forgive me if I remembered incorrectly!) was very friendly and made good conversation, and was nice enough to drop me off at my hotel after we dropped my car off. Can't recommend him enough, he was fantastic.

This repair shop replaced my right front hub bearing and it's a pess bearing. The mechanic damage the ABS sensor and and never bolt the brake hose bracket attached to the strut. Now the ABS light on. The car was dropped off and I contacted them and i was told that they replaced the bearing but never touched the ABS sensor, axle and the brake hose. what mechanicd does that and even charge$667. They want me to pay for the damage they have caused. Never take your car there please

Was traveling home to Rhode Island when my car was just not going to make it. Went to Eddie's and they looked at it right away and got it fixed within a few hours and had me back on the road. They staff was so nice and honest. I would recommend them to anyone from out of state needed to get their car fixed and don't know who to trust along with anyone from the area to use them!Thank you again!

Terrible experience - they've lost our business for life. I asked them to look at my timing belt tensioner and was told I needed a new engine (spoiler alert - it was the timing belt tensioner. I didn t need a new engine.)My engine had a loud knocking noise. I asked them to look at the timing belt tensioner. I called them two or three days after dropping the car off because they never reached out to me to give me an update. The woman with whom I spoke said that I needed a new engine. She was rude and irritated when I asked questions. We had the car towed to a different shop the next day, had the timing belt tensioner replaced like I originally asked, and the car has run perfectly ever since.This was our second time going to Eddie's. We dropped it off in December due to an oil leak. I dropped it off on a Thursday for a Friday appointment. I called them between 4:00 and 5:00 to get the status because they failed to call me. They still hadn't even looked at it and told me that they'd get to it on Monday. What was the point of the Friday appointment? When they called to give me the estimate, they said it would be approximately $270. When I picked the car up, they charged me $450.Bottom line - they didn't listen to me, were rude when I spoke to the front office on the phone multiple times, failed to provide me an accurate quote by almost fifty percent, and wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount of money to "fix" my car rather than doing the work that I asked.

Emissions this my first time here so I m going by reviews how friendly and nice people here so here I go you have to park on side that no problem remember this my first time here so I walk in the lady sitting at desk with glasses on asked how can I help you I m here for emissions never got up said sign up n the clip board still on her computer never never got up looking straight ahead . Now someone else walk in smile on face got up, greeted the young lady asked how can I help you wrote the name on clip board asked what kind of car you have the whole customer service. I got none of that. Got my inspection done and this would be my last time here.

Had to get an emissions and state inspection, with this being the closes place to my house that did emissions, the guy took my car in and immediately came to me after pulling it in and said that my car was making a horrible noise and stated it was rod knock saying pretty much I needed a new motor and said that it was super low on oil 35-40 min later came back and said that he had to add 4 quarts of oil to it when the car only holds 4.5-5 quarts total, that means they charged me for 4 quarts of oil a state inspection and emmissions got home checked my oil and not a single quart of oil was added it was still exactly where I filled it to prior, so please please please please never take your car there, this place is just a scam and little did dude know that I m a mechanic myself and all he saw was a young man to take advantage of

For vehicle inspections, I couldn't ask for a friendlier place each year to come. Lobby/ waiting room is old from the 80's, but thats what I like about it - the definition of a "ma & pa" small business.

We have just relocated from overseas and received our car that was shipped in a container. We were concerned about a noise and they were kind enough to see us right away and do a thorough inspection. All within an hour of us receiving our car. Fortunately, no issues. Great service, nice staff, and very professional. We also met a customer who has used them for 15 years. He spoke highly of their services also. Thanks Eddie and team!

State inspections are first come first serve. If you are visiting for inspections, arrive as early as 8am, but before 2pm. My first visit was for a state inspection. Friendly staff, free Wi-Fi, simple process, small waiting area. They were busy when I arrived at around 1pm, and waited roughly 1.5hrs.The one and only negative thing about this visit is that my car was door dinged during my wait there... and I had just washed my car and know for a fact there was no damage on it. I didn't make a huge deal out of it because I was able to buff it out with a wipe. Plus, I'm sure they wouldn't be responsible to damages (like many other businesses).

If I could leave a 0, I would. They towed our car and parked it overnight. They charged 650.00 for that. Drove Less than 5 miles, and parked it for 1 night. This place is nothing but a bunch of ROBBERS. I Will NEVER Recommend this Place for Anything, and Never let them Touch Anything of Mine Ever Again, and I Recommend anyone who reads this do the same. This place is a JOKE/Highway Robbers.

I came 40 minutes (7: 20) before the shop opened and asked for a state and emission inspectionsI show the clerk a picture of both documents I needed.I was told to sign on a list which I did. I was still waiting for service at 8:20.When they brought the keys back to me, I thought state and emission were done. I was told to sign another list to have the state inspection done. By now many people have signed. I tried to tell them that I cannot stay that long but I was not taken in consideration.The result, I had to stay another 90 minutes to have the state inspection done and could not report to work on time.Not knowing the requirements as a new state resident, I was hoping to have better communication with the staff and been heard.

Very big shout out to TRINI for getting me taken care of quickly and professionally with great response time and great service super clean and super professional and coming from a fellow tow truck operator and former AAA service provider we need more drivers like him out there to help keep this industry at the standard it should be super great job and big thanks for getting me taken care of thanks a lot and keep up the good work and stay safe

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I took my car here to quickly get an emissions check done. There were no lights on in the car at all, this was just needed for a title transfer. After waiting, it was loudly announced that my car failed. Something was then quickly mumbled about the check engine light and a code he didn't know about. Then "if you want us to do the work" was clearly mentioned at which point I said no, paid the $28 and left, still shocked about the mention of the check engine light being on when I knew for a fact that it was off when I parked. I asked around and a few mechanics said that it was unusual and didn't sound right. I decided to then take it to another shop where it passed immediately and there were no codes.I'm not sure why this was done to me, but this is a warning for anyone getting emissions done here. The game seems to be to get the car in for unnecessary and expensive work rather than being honest.

Eddies is a solid place for repairs. Straight forward pricing, and straight forward people. Easy to find and in a solid area. Only downside would be the fact that you can't book appointments for anything. Which means one day you're in and out on 20 min for an oil change, and the next you're waiting an entire day for a few things to be worked on. All-in-all I would recommend this place to a friend however.

My husband has gotten our inspection etc. done here previously, however, today I stopped in unexpectedly because a tire that was previously patched was leaking and pretty flat. In less than an hour they re-patched the tire and and leveled out the air in my other tires. They were really kind and I appreciate them taking care of me so quickly so that I could go run my errands!

We've been using Eddie's for years! We just got all three of our vehicles inspected and it took a day and a half. They're always super fast and let us know when they don't actually need to do something. They don't overcharge and they're really honest. We won't take our vehicles anywhere else!
