Great service! I was looking for a place to renew my car s inspection. Went to 3 different places using Google, but none could take my car after 4 pm or wanted me to drop it off there and pick it up the next day. A gentleman from Jiffy Lube sent me there, they completed my inspection in about 20 minutes without an appointment.

Place was great. I stopped at the NTB because needed a patch and plug on a spare tire. I walked in the place and stood there for 5 minutes before someone slowly walked out to help me. I knew that wasn t the place I wanted based just on that so I turned and walked out and drove up the road to American tire. They were great. Greeted at the door and took my tire right away and patched and plugged in 15 minutes. Service was great. Definitely will be my spot in the future.

Great shop, came in because I thought I needed new tires after getting a flat. Guys, took the time to tell me that a patch would work just fine and would save me money along with doing a safety inspection. All this took less than an hour and a half. Will definitely be a returning customer.

This is the best place to take your vehicle for everything. I have brought several of my cars and trucks here for over 10 years. I had an urgent issue that needed to be addressed and they were able to squeeze me in. Appreciate everything they do!

This place is not the place to go for good customer service . The representative at the desk was very dismissive and disrespectful. We ended up in an argument because I asked her if my 2 front tires would be put on sometime in the morning vs later in the afternoon . She became frustrated with my questions and then got an attitude. She kept repeating the same phrase but refused to answer my question. At this point the argument became heated, prompting me to ask for my tires back to take my business to another establishment. This business lacks proper customer service and they can t tell you when they will get to your vehicle.. even if you re vehicle is next in line at 8:00 am

I would like to thank you for your great service and integrity. Long story short we caught flat driving from jersey to Florida and these guys helped us out tremendously. They did not take advantage, they were kind, professional, funny, courteous and their establishment is very clean and comfortable. If you live in the area or just passing through and need automobile work done. Trust and choose them.

My tire kept losing air so I was ready to buy a new tire.But instead of them lying and saying I need to buy a new tire. They were Honest and fix the problem Quickly. If you want honest people to fix your car this is the place!!!!

This is a great place to get done your auto care. The advisor and service team is great. Get done your state inspection done in an hour and half. They do state inspection and tire works for Tesla car as well. Please visit this store for all of your auto care need.

I came in with my 2005 Silverado having front suspension issues. They were able to give me an estimate and complete the work in a very efficient and effective time frame. They mounted all of the new tires that I brought down for a good price. The truck basically drives like new now. Very happy with this place. They were also very friendly inside. Not once did I feel like I was taken advantage of. Highly recommended

Traveling down I95, got a nail in the side of the tire. Stopped here for assistance and they were able to put on a new tire in a hour! Great service, very helpful and professional. Not expensive. Highly recommend! Thank you!!

IF YOU ARE A WOMEN IN NEED OF SERVICE, DO NOT COME HERE ALONE, they will take advantage and manipulate you. Customer service is horrible. If you re not putting money in their pockets the staff up front will start treating you with no respect. They are super over priced & This is the first auto shop I ve been to where I felt I could not trust a business. Id definitely recommend going somewhere else in the area.

Been coming here since 2019. This shop is honest, efficient and professional. They give direct answers to questions and don't seem to have ridiculous rates. They are ALWAYS busy but ALWAYS seem to get my car work completed same day. Couldn't ask for more from a shop.

This business was extremely patient and honest and went out of its way to help me in my time of need. In the end, the emergency maintenance I brought it in for was unnecessary. Instead of making a quick buck at my expense after ordering a new tire for me, they determined it was unnecessary when they assessed the situation and did not charge me for any of their services. I would recommend the American Automotive Tire Pros to anyone who wants their vehicle in good hands. 100%- Thomas

They don't do appointments, so it's perfect for walk-in service. Very thorough, quick, and efficient. Friendly local garage. I just got a serpentine belt, radiator flush, and VA state inspections done in a couple of hours.

I've been getting my vehicle serviced here since 2015, and this shop does not disappoint. Service is top-notch, prices are reasonable, and they do not up-sale you on things you don't need, which is appreciated, especially in this economy today or any time for that matter. I would recommend American Automotive to everyone who needs something as simple as an oil change or state inspection to something more extensive as a 100k service. I will continue to take my vehicle to American Automotive for as long as I live in the area.

We've been using American Automotive for over 15 years, always a pleasure. Yesterday they fixed something for my elderly Mom's car that the dealership said would require a new windshield. Turns out it was a loose screw. Just on example of their trustworthiness and great service

Fast service. You'll never have to worry if they are doing the work they are charging you for, and you won't have be concerned about losing a tire or blowing an engine after your service like some other well known service centers.

Love this business, there always busy. I've trusted my Vehicles to be serviced here for 5 years now. After having multiple problems with pohanka Honda. It's just nice to know I can trust They're not gonna try to do things my cars/trucks doesn't even need done.

I recently went in for to get new tires and I m so glad I did. My normal mechanic told me I had four bald tires and needed new ones before winter then proceeded to give me the run around for three weeks and never even got back to me with a quote. I finally got fed up and gave American Automotive a call and spoke to Kevin who was able to give me a quote while he was on the phone with me. They just take walk-ins but he reassured me he d have my tires in stock and they d get me in-and-out in one afternoon. Not only did they have my tires ready when I came in, but they were also able to do my safety/emissions testing while they had my car. I felt overwhelmed trying to get everything done before the end of the month but talking to Kevin really gave me some peace of mind. I m so glad I went with them instead of other shops and the staff is so nice and genuine that I will be returning to them in the future.

Bought a custom set of high end wheels and tires. Took them to American and they mounted and balanced them. None of the ,"You have to buy the tires here stuff" Just bring them in and we'll take care of ya. Great bunch of people.. Thank you.

Excellent service! I used to go to another place but when I noticed something wrong with my girl friends car after inspection we went here to get a second opinion. They were friendly, didn't pressure us to get unnecessary repairs, and were up front and honest with us. I'm going to continue to come here for now on and recommend everyone else reading this to do the same.

Tldr;Great experience here. Went to get emissions done, figured it would be a long wait especially considering their lobby was PACKED. Was done within an hour. Very welcoming, even for women, convenient pay options. No up sales. Will be coming back.Despite the packed lobby, I was still acknowledged as soon as I walked in by that wonderful woman behind the counter with the chain necklace, while she was actively helping a customer. She also kindly answered my questions on the phone without making me feel like an inconvenience earlier that morning. I waited almost no time to drop off my car, another gentleman came to get my drop off completed so that I wasn t waiting forever, who was also very kind and polite to me.I was told it would be hours, which was to be expected, so I went ahead and decided to get some exercise. Before I had finished walking my mile, I was informed my car was ready. So turn around time <1hr. I love me a shop that under promises and over delivers.I didn t receive any upsale tactics, no treating me like a dumb woman, my requested car service was done and nothing more. No well you need to fix xyz, here s a quote which is what I was nervous about. They didn t even rush me during drop off.Checkout was smooth prompt, minimal to no wait, they accept tap pay and chip card. Very convenient.

I called at 4pm on 5/19/23 and spoke to a woman named Angie. I asked if they would be able to change a flat tire for me on Saturday 5/20. She said no because they will be closed and are in the process of getting ready for Monday. I asked "Does that mean you're not changing any tires on 5/20?" And she said "Yes we are why wouldn't we be?" I said because I believe you mentioned you're closed tomorrow.She then gave me a nasty attitude and said we're always open on Saturday. I apologized for the misunderstanding, then I asked her if I can come as soon as they open the next day and she said don't bother coming at all and hung up the phone.

Brought my frs for new wheels and alignment came out great. Went to 2 shops prior they said they couldn't do cause my car was lowered and they didn't want to deal with it. This shop did it quickly and professionally.

It's always hard to find a trustworthy company that is going to take care of your vehicle that ultimately takes care of your family. This was my first visit today with American automotive and it won't be my last. They have a lifelong customer with me! I came on one of the busiest days of the month being that it was towards the end of the month and everyone was there to get their state inspections. I also needed an inspection but my check engine light was on. Many of the customers who came in were repeat customers which told me a lot about their customer service. Their prices were right in line with what I anticipated. Very professional employees and very clean waiting area. Thank you for taking care of my vehicle!

Went there a few years ago and didn't have a good experience (see my review below this paragraph) but decided to try again yesterday because I was running out of options for my state inspection. Because of work, I got there around 5 and told the guy at the front desk that I brought my truck in for a state inspection. He asked if I was dropping it off and I said no. He then just sat there looking at me and didn't say another word. After about ten seconds of awkward silence, I asked if they were taking anymore inspections, and he abruptly said no and started going about other business. What ever happened to customer courtesy?!! I absolutely WILL NOT go back to American Automotive Tire Pros. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Again, see below for my first review.Went there to get an emissions test done for my truck. Got there at 3pm and left at 5:20pm for a test that only takes 20 minutes. Several people came in after me and left before me. At around 3:30 they parked my truck in a spot where I thought they would be moving it into the bay. That wasn't the case. They were done with it at that point but nobody told me. For an hour and 45 minutes I was looking at my truck waiting for someone to move it into the bay when the whole time it was finished. I didn't now this so I went to the lady at the front desk to ask approximately how much longer I would be waiting and her reply was that nobody ever came in to give her the keys. As she went back to look for them I noticed they were right there at the desk where she had been for the entire time I was in there. Several workers saw me and not once did any of them ask why I was still there. Not a good look for American Automotive Tire Pros!

Looking for honest auto shop? American Automotive is it. I ve been bringing all my cars to the American Automotive for all my car needs for years. Kevin Up front is very knowledgeable and cares about the customers needs, which is very hard to find in this business. Actually, every person up front is knowledgeable and cares about your car needs. All in all, I m happy with the work done on my cars and happy with the honest and very knowledgeable staff.

With customer service it gets no better than American Automotive. I ve been waiting for tires from Costco for over 4 months. Gave these guys a call this morning. My tires were ready for install by the afternoon. Great service and fast install. A lot of regulars come here and you can tell it s like family here. Will definitely come back for their other services. Thank you again team.
