Employee (Rico) went above and beyond in replacing a battery in my vehicle. It was a difficult install but he took his time and got it done. As a disabled person I have to sometimes rely on the kindness of strangers. I thank God for Rico.

Went here to pick up an AC line they had in stock, when they rang it up it was $15 more than it was on the advanced app. I asked about it and they said that was for online orders only. I asked if I could just pay for it online then and take the hose and they said I can but would have to wait there for at least 30 minutes for them to get the confirmation that I paid for it. I asked if I could get it discounted down to that price there or get a 5 or 10% off and they said no, it s in the fine print that price is for online only. Just irritating people with a rude and unprofessional attitude

I wanted to take the time to thank Keshawn at the Stafford VA location. He was very helpful in working with the GM at the North Charleston SC store on my behalf. Keshawn s knowledge allowed for me to get my due refund for a 1 year old battery that went bad in which I had lost my receipt to. Keshawn was key in explaining to them why and how to assist me.

The worst online store pickup experience I have ever had anywhere. I ordered a battery and some misc items to have picked in 30mins. All the items where stated on the website to be in-stock and I received an email stating my order was ready for pickup. Store wasn t closing until 6pm so I had time and arrived at 4:15pm. I get to the store and show my receipt for the pickup. The clerk tells me that my order was sent down the street to CarQuest because they didn t have my battery in-stock. I m confused because there was no instructions or notices in anything I received to tell me this. I ask about my other items, and the clerk informed me that the entire order was sent because of them not having the one item. Ridiculous, but ok where is this other store I ask. Was told it was a couple of blocks down the street. So I proceeded there and the store was closed. Why wouldn t he tell me that. Poor execution across the board. I will have to be desperate to come back here again.

I couldn t figure out why, but my battery light came on and I came to Advance. Rico, helped me figure out what was causing the trouble. Bad alternator which was killing my battery. He advised on what to do next. He also secured the battery on correctly as it wasn t before when being replaced. Big thank you!

Always an easy go to for the girl with no car knowledge! J.J. is super patient and does a great job explaining exactly what I need to keep my car road ready. I stopped by this location today with a bad alternator. Carl, without hesitation began a two and a half hour long process of replacing my alternator in my 03 Acura after hearing news that my tow company could not get to me today. He continued to work through his lunch break as his determination to finish the job took over. I appreciate the help from Carl and the kindness from all of the staff at this location as they got me back in the road safely today! Thanks Carl I hope that Tomahawk Rib-eye SLAPPED.

I have recently visited this store multiple of times for new windshield wipers, scratch remover for my car, a battery for my key fob, and an emergency cord for my phone. The prices were reasonable. It seemed that the staff enjoyed working together, and customer service was great. They explained how to use the scratch remover and it worked perfect. I would definitely go back.

I always rely on this particular Advance Auto Parts store for parts that cost over $100. I returned a brand new alternator that didn t fit on my car. Mel, an employee, approached me and handled my return situation in a respectful and timely manner. I was very impressed with the customer service and will definitely come back here in the near future. Keep it up.

A very nice young, athletic man named mason helped me out so much. I didn t know the difference between a head gasket and caliper, and he really clarified it for me. He also helped me get the parts I need for my vehicle, truly helpful. Great job Mason!

Considering the situation, the experience was exceptional. I needed a new battery and in literally took 15 minutes from the time I walked in until my battery was installed. I want to recognize the female employee on tonight! 01/21/19. She was awesome. I would definitely recommend this Advance Auto Parts to everyone I know.

Yesterday I came in for some cleaning accessories and were met with two of the most helpful, young professionals, Mason and JJ. Mason greeted me initially but then politely transitioned me to JJ because I have some additional questions about auto parts for my Jeep. JJ's demeanor, professionalism and knowledge demonstrated that he not only enjoyed his work but he genuinely loved educating his customers. He was delightful. As a matter of fact, every time I visit this store everyone has been A-1! Well, done, guys. Well, done indeed.

Nothing to write home about. Clean place, well-organized, and friendly staff. I was only in here for replacement fuses, but was able to find them easily enough. The thing I value most in an auto parts store is that they have the parts I need, so they get 4 stars just for that.

Very disappointing to buy parts, break everything down, and then find you were given the wrong parts. Ergo a second and unneeded trip back during the evening commute to switch parts as happened yesterday with a front brake pad replacement on a Honda Civic, a fairly common car. That extra trip delayed the repair nearly two hours.

As a Technician it s hard to find specific item in other stores. This place has some products other shops don t have. Prices are great. Mel was great and helped on a night. When no other store had or could not help me find what I need

This review isn't about my local store, it is for the advance auto customer support team and online experience. I am giving the review a two because i like the layout and ease of the website. Also because the team at my local store have always been helpful . First ordered a part for my car and the wrong part arrived. When i called customer service, i didn't speak to an agent for 23 mins and then as soon as they came on they hung up the phone. So i proceeded to call back and only 19 mins later I finally was able to get and agent. Simultaneously I was trying to use their online chat, equally as long of a wait. that was only a 27 minute wait. (Said 11 mins but I know that is just an estimate.) I was on the phone with the agent trying to figure out what happened and she said i can go down to the local store and return the item and then reorder the new item. THAT IS WHAT I DID THE FIRST TIME. I shopped online for the convenience and ease, and now i have to do the entire order again and hope it is right this time. (and return the wrong order back to the store). So about 35 mins in to the phone call my agent cannot find the order number that is on the receipt i was given. so she puts me on hold for about 12 more minutes until we get disconnected again. I try to call right back and an automated message tells me i must call back during business hours. AWESOME. THANK YOU. Rafael at your local agent was able to assist me with the return but no insight as to why something completely different was delivered. I will now be ordering my next items from another retailer

I spent $30+ for a head light bulb 3 days ago. It blows tonight and when I go to take it back I'm told that I have to go through Sylvania to get a replacement. I'm supposed to drive around with one headlight while I wait for a new bulb? I go to Walmart and they said if it blows they'll replace no problem AND it's $7 cheaper. Nice looking out for your customers. I guess I should have bought the bulb online where it's covered by a 30-day replacement policy.

During the snow storm, my windshield wipers ripped and I located this store. The guy at the counter was great. He located the wipers I needed and even out them on the car for me.

The man i talked to when i went was very very helpful and full of information. Unfortunately one of the parts i wanted wasnt available but thats alright. Left with what i needed and a whole lot of questions answered. The prices are a whole lot better than auto zone too.

The attendant informed me that they "dont install batteries with high outputs" .... there's a huge sign outside the shop that reads FREE BATTERY INSTALLATION. So either he was lying and lazy or just incompetent... makes no sense, you get customers for $150 battery and wont even exchange the old core WHICH YOU KEEP AND RESALE!....

I went in to get some oil and a filter. The gentleman who helped me was friendly. Quickly identified and helped me locate the filter I needed. No line, no waiting. Would recommend for all your auto part needs.
