Thankfully Advance Auto Parts will recycle our riding lawn mower battery. When the battery is purchased, there s a $10 deposit applied. Upon return of the battery, the $10 is refunded. Yesterday, we turned in the old lawn mower battery and got a new one. Recycling by using a deposit system is a great way to keep reusable and recyclable items out of the landfill!

Customer service here is absolutely horrendous, probably the worst I've ever gotten at Advance and I've been a customer a LONG time. Had a line of 3 customers waiting when I got inside. One person being helped by an employee outside. I get being shorthanded, but the sense of urgency by the employees is non existent. I put my items back on the shelf, because I wasn't waiting 30 minutes for to be checked out for 4 quarts of oil. Literally went across the street to Auto Zone and was in and out in 3 minutes.

Great customer service and prices. Had experience in helping customers find products, while also making car maintenance process a breeze.They offer a plethora of helpful services such as tool rental and wiper blade installation.I would recommend stopping at this location!

Chris Vaughn is a ADVANCE AUTO ROCK STAR , I choose Advance for my hoopidy car needs ONLY because of Chis. I could go to NAPA auto or Auto zone, but choose not to . Chris helps when I need product advice and help checking fluids n my car. Professional,polite,and knowledgeable. I will definitely choose Advance for ALL MY automotive needs.

They close at 9pm. It's 8:52pm all we needed was to ask if they had a scan tool to clear a code, the employee walked up and locked the door as soon as we got to it. Great customer service.

last night my car was acting weird so i went by here to get my battery tested and they wanted to check the alternator instead and my car wouldn t turn on, they had to jump start my car after that they wouldn t test my battery they said there was nothing wrong, so when i got off of work that night my dad had to come jump start it again and we had to go over to auto zone across the street and they checked my battery and it was dead. they helped out more than advance.

I took a battery purchased in September of 2020. Twice now since I have had to replace the battery. Once the battery was covered under warranty. The second battery the same issue.I have had the vehicle checked for any type of electrical pull. The alternator is fine, also checked by a employee at this facility.I dropped the battery off one afternoon at 1:30pm, the employee said to leave it with them. There wasn t enough power to even register any voltage. He suggested leaving the battery overrode then to check and charge. I returned the next day at 3:30pm. They had a hard time even finding my battery. Twice they tried to offer me someone else s batteries. Once they found it, here is what I was told. The battery wasn t charged all the way! Therefore it s not showing the reader if there is an issue with the battery. I asked why it wasn t Charged all the way then? No explanation! I was given my battery and was told, put in the vehicle and let the alternator charge it! If it doesn t hold a charge bring it back and we will put it on the charger again and see if a code come up! I can t warranty the battery without a code from the battery! Again then why didn t battery get charged in the very beginning. So now I haven drive 45 minutes back home. Put it back in the vehicle to see if it will start the vehicle, guess what? It will not start the vehicle! I have to once more jump it and it runs!This big box automobile parts store, has the most challenging employees even before COVID! I hate having to drive an hour to another location just to have my concern about this battery being bad!I hope a district manager would visit or even watch any vidoe feeds for this Farmville location. Each of the employees are abrasive, on their telephone, and when you ask a question they are insulted as if to refer to the customer we are supposed to know the answers! I had to bite my tongue when an elderly lady was before me asking the employe if she could purchase wiper blades and have him put them on. His reply was short, and rude. There are three of us in the store and it will be a while because he was leaving to get lunch. The other two men just ignored her. I told her I would put them on. Even when I did that not one of them even said thank you!The absolute worst customer service!

Stopped in and grabbed a set of wipers and got lost. So many choices and types too. Before I could ask for assistance,a employee asked me if they could help me. Of course I was YES U CAN.

Service is perfect when you get the right tech. Parts seem like they're getting scarce for older cars and trucks. No place in town had the part I needed. The place across the street ended up being able to order it, where Advance was unable to locate it in their computer.

Great attitude, helpful and informative even if you wind up not making a purchase. They helped us rule out serious, potentially damaging, engine trouble as we were passing through town.

Never answer the phone, called 5 times. First time they picked up the phone and hung up without saying anything, the rest of the times it just rang and rang. What is the point of being in business if someone can not get a quote on a part over the phone.

Rude uneducated service... If you wake wanting to be lied to and your intelligence insulted this is the place to go.. They have gone down over the years go to autozone instead their 20% cheaper
