This is a stand up and honest auto mechanics group. I scammed on a car and broke down near the shop. It is family owned and honest. I could not think of a place that I would rather have my vehicle 3 hrs. Away than Smith's. Great group of people. Thanks for all the helpful advice. And the service and time you spent helping me.

Great father & son running this place. Very helpful over the phone. Got me right in and had me on my way in under an hour. I needed just 1 semi trailer tire and was lucky Flying J s shop was closed cause they gave me the # for Smith s and ended up saving me hundreds of $. I m usually leery of used tires, but Smith s had quality used tires. Found me a tire with the same tread as my other tire and for far less $ than the major chains try to charge you for used tires. Thank you!!! Forget the Love s and Flying J and keep these guys in business.

On our way to Atlanta, we unfortunately ran over a deer. The owner at Smith s took the time out to carefully inspect my vehicle and ensured it was drivable to our destination. He was beyond professional and fair. Highly recommend.

Great service and people! We were on the way to WV for vacation, and our rental car ran into issues. The Team at Smith s met us at the gas station to figure out the issue and got us to the shop on Saturday. Fixed everything and got us back on the road quickly. Thanks Anthony and Team!

Man Smith auto shop is a lifesaver. I broke down on hwy 77 in VA and I looked up the closest shop. What a great bunch of people knowledgeable , honest , friendly people. If you are around the Fancy Gap area in VA and need some work done to your Big Rig this is the place hands down.

I visited the mountains with my wife and rented a vehicle that needed serious servicing. In fact I couldn't drive it back to Charlotte. Smith's was contacted and Anthony showed up and came to the rescue. He was skilled enough to start the vehicle and troubleshoot the issue at his state of the art mechanical shop. I hung out at his place for hours, with his cool dog that actually talks...lol, and Anthony helped make a bad situation better. Thanks Smith's Auto you guys are the best and deserve nothing but the best!

An exceptional repair center for Class 8 vehicles. I wholeheartedly suggest anyone passing through the southern VA area to reach out to them. Conveniently situated just off I-81, they even offer mobile services if you can't make it to their location.This establishment is family-owned and operated, and I highly endorse their services.

Fine folks at Smith's! Headed north loaded with heavy horses and that mountain broke my Old Yeller; a 95' 3500 chevy. They gott'er relived and back on the road and in the mean time were very helpful while we waited. If I'm broke down anywhere around Fancy Gap Va. again, I will definitely call Smith's Auto and Truck service

I had a coolant hose blow off while climbing fancy gap mountain at 4 PM on a Tuesday. Got it to the shop and within 30 minutes they had the hose fixed and the radiator full of coolant and I was headed back down the road. Very thankful for this shop and their crew to help me out during this moment. I would highly recommend them to anyone if you need repairs while in the area. Appreciate it very much guys.

I was going uphill and my truck completely lost power because coolant leaked out from this hose that was connected to the APU unit. I had no idea on who to call around the area. Looked up Smith s auto and truck service on google and he showed up right within an hour. And he was in the middle of eating his evening supper bit still showed up right away and diagnosed the issue and fixed it within 20 minutes.Thumbs up for the service and thank a lot again.

Blake came out for a roadside call Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. I was stranded with my dog alone at the NC welcome center. The issue ending up being more complex than he originally thought and when he couldn't get the part, he went to the junkyard for it. Stayed to help me out until midnight and only charged the original quoted price despite working on it for most of the day. He saved my weekend and went way above and beyond. 100% recommend.

I called anthony at around midnight and he showed up in 30 minutes, the guy is really honest and very knowledgeable of his work. I have seen a lot of roadside assistance guys who wants your money but this Anthony guy would definitely put your safety first. I would recommend this guy and for sure do business with him again..

My husband and I were driving home to Ohio from Florida when my 2012 Kia Sorento's check engine light came on followed by shaking and loss of power.The attendant at the Circle K we were able to drive to gave us Smith's business card.I spoke with Anthony over the phone and he diagnosed the problem but confirmed it running diagnostics at his shop when we got they car there. He took the time to check out the engine and immediately confirmed that we were running on 3 pistons vs 4.He was very honest and upfront about giving us options with the reality that a new motor would cost more than the cars value.With all the work he did, he didn't bill us although we offered. He had already had a busy day with tows and other calls but took the time to help us out.He even made a call to a local dealer as we had been in the market to replace the Kia.Just great service overall... Above and beyond. Thank you so much, Anthony!

I can t say enough how helpful and incredible it was working with Anthony and his team! We broke down going from NC to TN. We had my 2 year old with us and I m 6 months pregnant. They got to our car so fast to tow, and took it to their shop to check it, even after close. They made us and my son feel comfortable all while checking the car. Anthony and his crew were hands down the best! We are blessed they were still open and took us in so last minuet. I highly recommend Smiths if you are in the area!

My family and I were returning from Florida to Jersey broke down at 1 am on rte 81...got their name from the Loves we were at..called them at 130 am..Anthony answered tried walking us through a fix and even came out to help us...had to have it towed to their shop..they worked on Sunday and all day Monday to get us back up and running..had 2 bad ground wires which burned-out fuel pump..there are NOT enough words I can say here to thank them. Their kindness and professionalism is hands down the best I have ever seen.they fixed everything kept in constant contact with us and their prices are amazing..if I could only bring them to jersey. Thank you for all you did for us and being so amazing!!if we had to break down im thankful it was by their shop. Thank you again!!

Anthony is by far the best in the business. I was 2 hours into an 8 hour drive when my coolant hoses broke. He worked on my Ford pickup truck until 9pm to ensure I got back on the road. Very affordable, very nice & professional. I was blessed to break down where I did. Unmatched quality!

I can't say enough great things about this place. I broke down on the highway on a Sunday and hardly any places were open. I called Smith's auto shop and the owner, Anthony, answered right away. He said he would come from his house to come work on my car to try to get it back on the road as soon as possible (I was on a road trip from Michigan heading back to Durham). He and his son worked through the entire night to figure out what was wrong with my car. They also helped me get a good rate on a local Motel and gave me a ride there as I had no way to get there. They picked me up in the morning, and continued to work on my car. They figured out what was wrong with it. Unfortunately, the car parts cost more than the car was worth (Anthony even called 4 other shops and Toyota specialists to double check that he couldn't figure out a better price for me). When I needed to get the car towed, Anthony called a friend of his in the towing business to get me a good rate and a ride to the next place I needed to be where I could catch a ride. At the end of all that, he charged an incredibly fair price (he had put in easily over 10 hours of labor). I cannot give this shop high enough recommendations. I've dealt with a lot of mechanics and different auto shops and would come back here in a heartbeat. Highest recommendations.
