On our way back from the beach in NC this past Saturday, we broke down on Route 52 in Fancy Gap, VA heading back home to Akron, OH. Luckily, we were able to pull the car into a safe gravel lot off the side of the road. My husband googled Auto Repair shops near us and located Meredith's Auto Repair. Kenneth arrived where we broke down about 15 minutes later, quickly diagnosed the problem, connected a charger to the car so it would start, and we followed Kenneth to his shop. Later that afternoon Charlie, Meredith's #1 mechanic, came in on his day off (so generous) to help Kenneth finish the repair.We were back on the road by 11 pm the same day and the car ran like a champ! We made it back home safe and sound to Ohio at 4:30 am on Sunday morning.Something that could have been a complete nightmare (stranded on I-77, no shelter/water/food/restrooms, etc.) turned out to be a wonderful, heart-warming experience!These gentlemen went above and beyond and are true professionals. They treated us like family and genuinely cared about us and our vehicle. We knew we were in good hands and were in a safe place.We will definitely be singing their praises for years to come and then some!Forever grateful in Ohio,Scott & Annmarie Service: Engine repair

We are so thankful for Ken Meredith and Charlie! On our way to meet up with family for Memorial Day in Fancy Gap, our car overheated. Thankfully, Meredith Garage was open on Memorial Day. They had a look at our car, found the problem lickitty split and sent us safely on our way back home 400 miles away within an hour an a half. Very personable folks, and professional too!

We had a flat on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I called Meredith's, Mr. Kenneth and Charlie both went above and beyond! They were so helpful and treated my wife and I like we were long lost family. We go to Fancy Gap 5 or 6 times a year and we will be stopping by just to visit with these fine gentlemen.

Mr Meredith is a great man! His garage was closed one Thursday due to inclement weather and he had given his mechanic the day off. We blew a tire on I-77 about one mile from exit 8 (25 degree weather on our way to Winter Place). Our GPS directed us to his garage. I called first and he was eating lunch but said to come on by and he'd see what he could do. He personally changed our tire himself and we (along with 5 kids) were back on the road in no time. He could have easily said that he was closed and his mechanic was "off duty" but he chose to help us. We are very, very grateful!!!

The Best! Great service & great atmosphere! Helped me without hesitation & was fair on pricing! I've lived here my whole life & I've truly missed out on a great mechanic.. until now :)

Best mechanic in this area. Kenneth and Charlie are very professional and truly care about your vehicle. We they do it its done right. Would recommend to anybody with car trouble
