I have been coming to this Sunoco for over three years now and I have always received outstanding customer service. I was in bind where I need to get my car serviced before a long trip and Chris was able to assist me at the last minute! Chris is really doing an excellent job managing this location and he really knows how to treat his customers.

I absolutely love Dan's Sunoco. Chris and the team are great, and have taken care of my cars for 15 years. They're good at answering my questions, giving me clear options and on the timing (what to do now and what to expect at later milestones). All very reasonably priced, and none of the pressure I (temporarily) experienced at a dealership servicer--I actually look forward to bringing my car in for service. Convenient location too: walkable to many residential neighborhoods, Mosaic District, and metro bus or rail.

I've been going to Dan's Sunoco for years to service our cars. I just happened upon them one day and have not gone to anyone else. My relationship with Chris has been one of trust and honesty. Chris has always treated me with respect and has given me time to discuss his experiences with cars and the issues a car may have. The quality of the work is also a reflection on Chris' integrity. I observe him speaking with his staff to ensure they understand what needs to be addressed.I usually call Chris if I have any questions and he always takes my calls and gives me the educated and honest response that I have not come to expect as it relates to my cars. He also lets me know what I can do now and what I can wait for, which means that he's not looking to pull a fast one on me. That's truly what I have come to appreciate. Sure I've had my share of hefty service charges, but as long as I know what I'm paying for and it's explained to me and I don't have to come back for re-work, that's the reason I keep coming back.

I recently had one of my tires blown by hitting a pot hole late one night and pulled up to closest repair station. That was when I discovered Dan's Sunoco and I am glad I did. Chris the Manager was so professional and appear very dedicated to customer service. I got my tire replaced/wheel checked out and car ready for pick up the next day. The price they charge was very fair and their service is first class. I would certainly bring my car to Dan's Sunoco again and even recommended to my Mother to take her car there and to ask for Chris.

I have brought several cars to Dan's now and have been consistently happy with the work and the staff. They have let me know when I needed work done and, as importantly, have shown me when I didn't need work I thought I might need.Even though when I have gone in for servicing or inspections I have just shown up rather than made a reservation, each time I have been been taken right away or after only a short wait.I thinks Dan's is a jewel and hope they are there for years to come.

Very bad experience. I came in here to fix a puncture. Waited for more than an hour. The mechanic said can t be fixed and put my spare tire back. I was flabbergasted when they charged me $25. Just to put my spare tire back. I have been to other service stations, the similar thing happened but wasn t charged anything as nothing was fixed.

The Merrifield Sunoco has become my go-to place for two older cars that I long ago purchased for a hard-working immigrant family. I know that whatever the problem, I can have the drivers leave the cars with Chris and he'll give me an honest appraisal of their service needs while always giving safety and price high priorities. He maintains the cars, turns them back to the drivers, and calls me with the charges so that I can pass by and pay later in the day or even the following day. How often can one find mechanics who work that way? I can't recommend Dan's Sunoco highly enough.

Amazing experience! Chris is highly professional, through explaining any questions and always suggests multiple options around any issues I have with my Honda CRV. He has earned my trust and I highly recommend his service.

I have gone to Dan's for years. Chris and the gang are friendly, quick, professional and fix things at a reasonable price. They have kept my 2001 Ford Focus going fine. I have had this car twice as long as any other car I have owned.

Top notch service! I frequently visit this station since it is the closest in proximity to the 495 express lanes entry and exit for Lee Highway. I filled up my motorcycle tank like any other time, but today I had an issue with my clutch not engaging. Being pretty mechanically savvy and knowing there was air in the clutch line, I asked the service guys if they had a vacuum pump thats commonly used for bleeding break lines. I knew that it was a long shot due to liability policies they may or may not have. I was directed to speak with Chris and he said he would see what he can do. He allowed me to utilize the pump and a couple tools and within 20 min, I was on my way. He was very busy yet still took time to make sure I was ok and was able to get things resolved with my bike. I highly recommend these guys and I appreciate the empathy although I wasnt a service department customer. I will continue to go to this station.

I have used Dan's Merrifield for years! We LOVE Chris, the Manager/Co-owner of Dan's Sunoco. He goes the extra mile and we know it! It's like being part of a family with these guys! The guys work with our current car warranties and do all of the legwork necessary to save us the extra dime. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

I was inflating my tires at their public tire inflator and was having problems with one of my tires. Chris noticed my difficulties and offered his assistance. He fixed my problem! Greatly appreciated...superb customer service and expert knowledge!

Ive worked in vienna fore just a little over 2 years and this is right before i jump on the express lane to head home to maryland. there has been a few times ive gone by in the morning or right as i get off for air in the tire.. or an oil change and even one time i came off the highway on my motorcycle and my shift lever had came loose. the staff there is always willing to help me.. ALWAYS... the young man that fixed my bike for me didt it out of the kindness... it was only a simple bolt that needed tightening but he certianly offered me a hand.. i only went in there to borrow a tool.. he came out with the tool.. loctite and he actually went ahead and fixed it. the oil changes are prompt and thorough.thanks guys! as long as im working in this area they will keep my truck running!

Worst experience at a gas station. I try to pay at the pump and it wouldn't let me. So I try to pay with the cashier and he tells me I can't pay with a debit card and makes me pay with a credit card when I told him to run my card as credit. Very unhelpful.

DO NOT go here for inspection. They will fail your car and pressure you to perform repairs that are way over market value.
