Great service, quick and reliable. They told me how much it would cost to do a cabin and Air filter replacement, ordered the part and next day I dropped off my car for servicing. Was done in 30 mins

I go here for my annual VA state car safety inspection and biyearly emissions inspection. I couldn t find the inspection hours online when I searched so here they are: M-F 8AM to 5PM, Saturday 8AM - 1PM, Sunday - Closed. It s best to go during the week when most people are working and it s a smaller line. Overall, the experience is quick and fairly friendly. On the gas front, I use to go to this gas station for three years consistently and their prices were a bit high, but I liked the close convenience to my home.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Much nicer than other shops in Falls Church many of who were often very rude! I was in and out within 30 min. Located in a convenient area where i can grab a cofffee or snack as well

Sunoco Guys, you did amazing job! Impressed with your service. After the oil service I see very good mileage from 23 to 28.2 on highway which Honda showroom guys could not promise me. Even the previous service for transmission /differential/ break oils service was amazing. You guys keep up your promises and please keep it going. I am 200% satisfied.I think I found a right & trustworthy mechanic shop wherein they charges are pretty reasonable comparatively with Honda showrooms which are high and I was never satisfied.

Been dealing with this Sunoco a long time. Recently had my vehicle towed in for locked up rear wheel on drivers side. Same day they had it finished and wheel unlocked and only needed brake adjustment. They are my go to for emissions and safety inspections as well

Fine for safety and emissions inspections but had them replace a leaking valve cover gasket on my accord and it needed to be redone less than a year later at a Honda Dealership

They were able to take care of my complex issue the same day, so that I could get it through inspection. Staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. I didn't realize I also needed emissions, so I will be going back in a few days. Highly recommend this shop!

Excellent service. I came to get my vehicle inspected and there was a long line but it went pretty decent. The tech was informative and nice to customers and office manager was nice with communication to customers. I will be bringing my second vehicle for services as well.

inspector was very polite and professional, and did not try to pull me into various repairs. i arrived 5min after opening and pulled up in a line of several cars. the inspector worked efficiently and mine was completed in reasonable time (15min). i wish they had some sort of ticketing system where i can check in, claim my place in line, and park my car until it s my turn to pull up to the garage door for my turn instead of inching forward every 15-20min.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

I had an indicator light replaced here after failing an inspection. The part was retrieved quickly and the service occurred in a day, along with re-inspection. The staff communicated the pricing and timelines to me very clearly so I knew exactly what to expect. Great hidden gem behind Trader Joes. Fast service. I take partial credit because I was second in line and lightly use my car. So no major repairs needed. Other than that fast and friendly service. Easy and quick safety inspection. I initially went on a Saturday late morning, and it was crazy crowded. One of the managers asked if I could make it on Monday morning and he suggested it would be quick and without much crowd. He went out of the way to make sure I didn't have to wait. Really appreciate he doing that.I went on Monday morning and got it done in less than 30 minutes.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

This place is so convenient to get your safety or emissions testing done for your car. They are quick, efficient and courteous! They are convenient to get to in Pimmit Hills. There may be a line sometimes, mainly on Saturday mornings, so I would recommend going during the week. Gas is reasonably priced too. Overall, these are great guys and they get you in and out very quickly.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection

OK I m still in sticker shock repaying $31 for a plug in a tire. I live two hours away from Pitman Hills .outside of Charlottesville Virginia and here . they only charge $12 that s a big price difference.I do love you guys but Wow your prices have gone outrageous !!!

I came here a few weeks ago to get my car tested for auto emissions. Being new in the area, I was not sure if I needed to get my car inspected in addition to the emissions test to update my vehicle registration. In theory, they could have told me that I needed an inspection and make me pay more but they informed me that I just needed the emissions test to update my registration. Apparently, I came later in the morning (around almost noon) than most people who get the emissions test because the man at the counter closest to the door kept telling me that they were done doing the emissions test after the man who conducts them told me to go inside and wait for him to finish performing the test (I told the man at the counter this). The test was very quick and painless. I will definitely come back for my inspection. The only concern and why ideally I would have given then 4.5 Stars is because the man at the front counter kept telling me I could not have the test completed when I told him that the man outside is performing it as we speak and because he did not answer a very specific question that I asked him. I asked whether I needed to make an appointment or should I just come for my car inspection. He did not reply but his gestures and phrasing to tell me goodbye were simply out of place, like he memorized them. In all fairness, he was not mean and I suspect he did not understand what I asked due to a few challenges in his English ability. (I tutor other ESOL learners, have ESOL friends so I understand some of the challenges, so no shade here to the gentleman.) I would have switched to another language if I spoke his native language, but unfortunately I did not. I also have no doubt that he is a great worker but it would have been nice to have liked my question answered. The other man that was in the waiting area with us most of the time who did not have any linguistic barriers was preoccupied with something else that I am guessing hear did not hear me, although I asked about it twice. Above all, I am glad that they are prompt, fair, and not rude. Again, I will come here again as long as the level of customer service remains consistently high and recommend them to others.Service: Auto emissions testing

I had a flat tire last week and was in a desperate situation. I couldn't thank the Pimmit Hills Sunoco team enough. Khan and his team helping me in a pinch. They assessed my tire/car and were able to order a good replacement, install it, and realign my car in a timely manner for a very fair price. I trust their recommendations and quality of their work. I will definitely being going back for routine services. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. Before the new owner took over about 1 year ago, the place was a good, honest, family-owned business. Now all honesty and transparency is gone and the quality of service is terrible. My experience involved 2 of my vehicles and is described below:My Land Rover Discovery was having misfires as I confirmed with my OBD device and phone app. But I wanted a professional diagnostic and the owner of the Sunoco said their $10k diagnostic system would provide that for $140. I did the diagnostic and they showed me a list of codes on a piece of paper. Was a tiny bit more info than I already knew, but It was clear I needed to start with a basic tune-up ie plugs and coils. I asked if I could provide the Coils and they would provide Plugs and do the service. That was the plan.In the meantime, I needed to get my old 4runner drivable, and it failed safety inspection there as there was a problem with the brakes, likely the master cylinder. I asked if I could provide them the part and they said yes, but of course the part is not warrantied by them. Understood. They installed the cylinder, and I drove away noticing the brakes were great again, but just around the corner, my EBrake light was coming in, specifically when I stopped quickly.I returned and showed the mechanic and owner and they only said I had a faulty part and should consider swapping the sensor from the old, and re-bleeding the brakes. They said there was nothing they could do because I brought in the part. What about ensuring they did the service properly?? They said it was done perfectly.I went home frustrated and looked closely and noticed there WAS NOT ENOUGH BRAKE FLUID IN THE CANISTER. THATS ALL IT WAS!! The owners said they are Master mechanics What? They simply put Zero effort into the issue because I brought them the part, or they simply have no clue about diagnosing a simple problem.At that point, I wanted my Land Rover out of there and decided I did not want them to touch any of my vehicles ever again. I asked for my vehicle back and the owner said I had to wait to see if it was drivable as maybe they installed the plugs and it wasn t drivable. What? They didn t have the coils I was planning to provide and there is zero logic in doing this service until you have both. It was as if he was trying to hold my car there!! I said I would wait until the mechanic came in, but then an honest employee said to check and see if the new plugs had been opened. They had not, so they said I could have my car back.The diagnosis was $140 and I asked for the professional report/print out of all the trouble codes, and they did not have one. This is the diagnostic and they lost it!! What?? I simply said whatever just please give me my car and that I think I remembered the codes or had grabbed a photo of the codes as I had this strange feeling they would lose it. They did.The owner and the mechanic are not Master technicians (the owner kept telling me this) and I highly suggest you steer clear of this place. I shouldn t even of paid for that $140 diagnostic as I never officially received one. But I paid anyway as I just wanted to be done with them and get my vehicle back.FYI the Meineke car care center near Tyson s is an honest place with quality technicians. I can recommend them for this area.

They ve been terrific- always do a good job at a fair price and never try to sell me things I don t need. My car broke down from a faulty fuel pump and these got it fixed the same day in a hour. Was a bit pricey for one part and one hour of labor but they were so quick and they did a good job so I d still recommend them!
