Yes, this is a Home Depot. Yes they have material you d expect to find at a hardware store. Do they have a happy customer? No. Parking spaces taken up by carts, inventory was a mess, ladder stairs and carts blocking isles all throughout the store. I was bumping into people who couldn t find employees to assist them lol. I m sure some of the employees are trying hard but I dislike coming here.

Great location. The one in Seven corners has a bigger nursery, but this one is more organized if you are looking for appliances, tools, doors, faucets, or paint.

Rob was incredibly helpful and spent a lot of time showing me exactly what I needed for my home improvement project. He is a retired electrician and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this store because of his customer service and knowledge.

This is a really nice Home Depot. Unlike other locations (especially Falls Church), the employees here are helpful and friendly. Selection of items is also very good.

FOR TRUCKERS ONLY: The red dot in the picture is the entrance u have to make the right turn off of US29 into the back of the store. DO NOT GO AROUND THE FRONT you will have to blindside back & stop traffic to get out & make a right turn out of there and drive around to come up US29 to make the right into the back of the store unless you re small enough to do a u-turn. Michelle in receiving is rude for no reason if my job wasn t important to me I would ve lost it that day.

Tell corporate that I will change this to 5 stars once they start taking apple pay. Also watch out for your car in this parking lot the spaces are tight, and people are not that carful. Just go to the upper level.

5 stars all day long!!! Why, why not it's HOME DEPOT!!! They have everything and everytime I go here to buy a $6.00 ant trap I walk out with 2 carts over $1000.00 I love the home depot! I am always building or working on a new project and they always have what I need to Starr and complete every project!

I am very impressed and satisfied with the flooring purchase experience for my mother. The flooring technicians provided great service. They arrived on time, they fixed all the necessary issues on the spot.

Do not I repeat do not buy your appliances from Home Depot! You have 48 hours to return them! My elderly parents bought a washing machine and dishwasher from Home Depot and it was the worst thing they ever did. The lack of support from Home Depot was/is incredible. GE customer service is no better and makes you go to their website to schedule a repair appointment. My parents bought their appliances in March 2023 and now it is October 2023 and our problems have only gotten worse. When the appliances were delivered, they noticed a problem of which the delivery company said Home Depot would take care of it. They never did and by that time it was looked it was more than 48 hours and my parents were stuck with the appliances. Home Depot would not allow them to return the appliances at all. I hope the Better Business Bureau looks into this matter because it is definitely a scam. If you can, go to Costco instead, you will not regret it.

The store is very large and have very big covered parking lot. It is located on the Lee highway which is very close to merrifield metro and I66. This is our first visit here and there is a great collection of items for every home and garden needs. The store is well maintained and cleaned.

Inventory is not being updated. Salespeople can't find things the system says are there. Poor quality control. Went to Customer Support Desk. They sent me to another store and that turned out to be the sane issues.

I am the co-owner/co-founder of a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool program in Waldorf Maryland. I always come to this location for our school project needs. Our latest project was updating our school's playground. After an employee cut our wood incorrectly, Mike immediately rectified the situation. He went above and beyond to ensure every measurement was correct. We came 3 consecutive days and he never hesitated to support.Over the years I've had exceptional customer service at this location. Thank you to Tim, Paul, and the manager Jay for their immeasurable commitment to their customers.I've attached photos of our latest project. We continue to support Home Depot (one of the few chains I purchase business products) because of the dynamic employees that go above and beyond. Over the years I've spent thousands with HD to supply our children with continuous school equipment that the community happily constructs. Just thought you should know the impact your kindness has on the community.See attached photos of how everything turned out!

The kids workshop is very disappointing. We signed up for our kids two weeks before and they both have been looking forward to it. Despite the cold weather and rain, we still arrived at 11 o'clock. To our surprise, we were told it has done and no kits have been available! It says online it will end on 12 noon. But it closed earlier without any kits available for us. What is the meaning to sign up in advance? Why do you say it will last until noon one hour earlier? It's up to you when the event will close, but if you set a ending time, you should follow it. Cause we customer will count on it. If you don't have enough kits, it is ok. You can give it to those who sign up for the events. But you can't ask people to sign up and then close earlier without any kit set aside for those signing up for this event. This is not acceptable.

If you need anything for plumbing or gardening or any other kind of household needs, Home Depot's probably got it. We recently had to pay a plumber $400 to unclog our sink when we could have bought a tool for $40 at Home Depot. Ugh

Three delivery appointments were needed to get delivery and installation of a new Whirlpool dishwasher purchased at Home Depot for a property I manage in Falls Church in the development Holly Crest. The first appointment was cancelled because of a snow storm. Second appointment failed when unboxing the dishwasher it was discovered that it was damaged, dented. On the third appointment January 14, 2022 the lead installer made it clear to me on arrival through his snarling attitude, upon my introducing myself to him, that I was not welcome to talk with him. Ignoring my request to bring the new dishwasher in the house through the garage entrance, which is a couple steps to the kitchen, he brought it in through the front door tracking over recently professionally buffed hardwood floors in the foyer and dining room to the kitchen.The misanthropic installer made a mess removing the old dishwasher (see attached photos). Disconnecting the water line water leaked and puddled on the floor under and in front of the dishwasher being removed. He ignored the mess in front of it making no effort to clean up the soiled water before pulling out the old unit and installing the new one without cleaning the floor under it. The installer stood in the puddle while installing the new dishwasher and tracked through the dining room and foyer when he and his partner took away the old one. Mrs. tenant generously did the clean-up after they left.I purchase many appliances at the Merrifield HD. I also buy appliances at Ferguson in Chantilly and at 2 Lowe s locations, Fairfax and Chantilly. I do not care for the pretentiousness and indifference of Bray & Scarff sales reps and managers and Best Buy is the bottom of the barrel in my opinion snd experience. Generally I work with sales rep Mo at Merrifield HD. Reporting my complaint of this incident to Mo he brought in his boss who is titled Customer Experience Manager. I found him ineffectual. Mo is competent, he is experienced and knowledgable but I am putting HD on pause for the moment. Coincidently, today, I am going to purchase a KitchenAid Over-the-Stove Microwave as a small part of preparation to list another management property of mine For Sale in Reston. I am going to buy it at Lowe s in Fairfax.**********************************************April/16, 2022Updating review and downgrading star rating from 2 stars to 1 and I would make it zero if I could. Weeks after dishwasher installation tenants reported water standing in the dishwasher after cycling causing me to order a warranty service call.The VIA Services technician making the warranty service call immediately discovered the cause of standing water was drain hose not high looped by the installer. In less than 10 minutes the VIA technician made the simple and easy correction. The VIA tech was professional and, of course, there was no charge. Five stars for VIA Services, negative stars for Home Depot and their delivery installation contractor.On top of being rude; making and leaving a mess of dirty water on the floor in front of the dishwasher; not cleaning the floor under the dishwasher before installing the new one; the installer was either incompetent connecting the drain hose or simply sabotaging the installation. Merrifield Home Depot s reaction to my initial written complaint report, supported by photos, was saying that everybody understands good help is hard to find and the subcontractor hiring decision is made a management level or two above them at a corporate location. Nothing they can do about it according to them. I on the other hand am voting with my feet and my clients money forward restricting appliance purchases to Lowe s and Fergusson. Between the installation of this dishwasher and the VIA warranty service call I purchased a stainless steel KitchenAid convection microwave from Lowes having a flawless delivery and installation appointment at another property.

Absolute time suck. Yesterday they cut drain shield, today, they don t and never have. If you have a question, an associate looks at you like a deer in headlights, and directs you to a random aisle while you ll wait for someone to help, for 45 minutes (because all their managers are in meetings.) At checkout, I waited a further 20 minutes because my paintbrush did not have a barcode. So another phone call, another wait, another supervisor. What should have taken 10 minutes took over an hour. What an absolute mess.Also so clear they don t care at all: not a single reply to any of their Google reviews, good or bad.

In store shopping is not bad. Bought a few things online. Pickup can be a disaster because of the time it takes for them to locate items. If you need it quickly buy it yourself.Needed to buy stuff in the electrical section. All the wires are locked up. Took 3 overhead announcements to get help. Overall took about 12 minutes to get one pack of wiring I needed.No one ever picks up the phone either. Don t bother calling. If you know what you want this store is fine. If you need help go to Fairfax Circle.

Called this place twice to ask about a replacement part for a broken fixture. Was transferred to kitchen and bath TWICE and was disconnected both times. Trash customer service.

Incompetent staff, particularly John in customer service who does not answer any questions without a facetious response. A simple order of an item and installation took over an hour and three associates to handle and we still haven t received a confirmation email that the order went through. A total black box process with a delivery that could take up to two years to arrive, kidding, haha, my name is John but I can t answer that question and have no idea when the delivery will occur I can t answer that question. My name is John . Home Depot, please train your associates to not waste your customer s time and have responses that are actually relevant to customer.

Carefully inspect EVERYTHING before purchasing at this store. Take a look at this 2 by 4!!! Cracked right thru the middle; YES, I probably can bring it back. No, I do not want to waste 45 minutes doing that. Previous week I purchased USB headphones for $19; They did not work! You NEVER want Home Depot to select merchandise for you! Finally, remember that Home Depot often puts items back up for sale that have been returned! - often with some problem. It is a convenient store. As Home Depot as a company skews heavy Republican, use Reagan's saying: "trust but verify". Take a look at the 3/4" 2' by 4' piece; although I checked the piece before selecting, I missed a HUGE screwed up area! You cannot trust ANY Home Depot products to be in proper condition - particularly lumber / anything that might have been returned.
