I took my car to this place upon my friend s recommendation. My car s windshield washer fluid reservoir was broken & had to be replaced. Upon inspection, they found out that my radiator was leaking. Quoted price was a lot lower than the other repair shops that I called. They even cleaned everything under my hood. One would think that I have a brand new car. Paul, the owner was very honest and professional. I would return for any repair.

I went there to get an issue looked at where my car was stuttering and jolting forward when I pressed the accelerator (basically, not accelerating smoothly), and they said they could look at it but it would be $110. They said if I chose to do the repair with them that $110 would count towards the cost of the repair, so I agreed. They looked at it the same day and found that it was a transmission issue, which they aren't equipped to fix, so the manager told me he wasn't going to charge me anything for taking that look. He even went as far as to discuss what he thought the problem was with me and recommended a reputable transmission place down the road. I thought not charging me for finding a problem they couldn't fix was generous and honest, and I would recommend them.

I had a great experience here fixing a punctured tire. One of tires kept losing air so I brought my car here. It was a nail stuck in my tire but the nail head had been broken off. The technician showed me how to find it when it s not visible and repaired it right away. The price was reasonable too.

Be careful. I took my truck there for one simple problem which I verified with another mechanic, suddenly these guys kept finding a bunch of new issues which were never present and were never an issue beforehand. I looked at some Yelp reviews and it appears that it isn't uncommon for them to create issues on people's vehicles so the customer has to return for business. They are nice guys but I think something's fishy about their repairs. Proceed with caution.

Really happy with the mechanics here. My wife and I have gotten a variety of services on our vehicles. They seem very honest--have even recommended not to do unnecessary services. They are also very fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. I moved away and still drive ~30 minutes to get our vehicles serviced here. Highly recommended!

The mechanics here are very experienced and charge honest prices. I've literally taken my car to another place and was about to be charged $900 then decided to come here. It was less than half the cost! My car ran great after that. It's been 8 years now that I've been going to this place. I won't go anywhere else. :-)

They charge us $406 to replace a stator for a Ford e250 2008.I m a mechanic and I was 2 hours driving from their location so didn t have chance to do the work but I know the part goes for $90. Not good business

Came in with a leaking tire (came in off of the highway after striking debris on road). They took a look and then advised me of the damage and then repaired the tire. Despite being busy, they were responsive and very professional. Very happy they could be there to get us quickly back on the road at a very reasonable price

The people at Nutley Service Center are wonderful. They do excellent work at very fair prices. They are very honest, as well as friendly. I have known other stations who took advantage of me; having found this "jewel" I will never go anywhere else!!

I love Nutley Street Service Center! Paul and his team has been taking care of my cars for the last 12 years. Everyone here works with tremendous integrity, with great sense of humor, and super hardworking. I have never had a car problem that they could not work through and I drove a 17 year old car to the ground! You will NEVER be disappointed at Nutley Street Service Center as long as Paul and his team are watching over us.

My family and I have been going to Paul and his team for about 30 years now ever since I was a little kid. You ALL have always been professional, informative, and kind. I know I'll never get overcharged just because I don't know much about cars. You work with our schedules and basically keep us mobile! For convenience's sake (proximity to work, mostly), I've taken my Acura to other well-reviewed places in the area; but I always regret not just bringing it here to begin with. Paul & crew are friendly and helpful, and have diagnosed and fixed issues that other garages couldn't even identify. Thanks to them, and despite a daily commute on DC's awful roads, my car runs great. Is the waiting area shiny & sparkly? No, but there's a Starbucks and Greek diner across the street for killing time in, or an Enterprise if you can't wait around. Are the prices the best around? I have no idea. But there's value to be had in being able to completely trust that the work you need done will be done- and done correctly.

This is the only place I take my car. I've been going to them for over 20 years. Always a great job and fair pricing. Check out the Consumer Checkbook, Paul is the only service station that has all the checks. Highly recommend.

This is a no-frills family-owned service center that's been around for decades. The employees are honest and friendly. Many of them have been working there for ages. The repair rates are much more reasonable than others. You could go to a fancier service center and pay for the Keurig coffee and LCD TVs or you can go here. There's a large shopping complex across the street if you want to get lunch while you wait. This place is great.

They could pay more attention to their customer services. A guy who handled my oil change had greasy hands and didn't even care to use gloves or clean his hands when driving my car into their shop. I mentioned it to the boss inside when I picked up my car and all she did was handed me pieces of paper towel, didn't even bother to send somebody to clean the handle where the guy might have touched with his greasy hands. How does she expect me to clean grease with dry paper towel?? Little more care in detail would go a long way.

Consistently excellent service. I've been going here for two and a half years, and I've always gotten a fair price and quick service. On the rare occasion there's been a problem with a repair, they've corrected it free of charge, no questions asked. They do good work and stand by it.

My family and I have been using Nutley Street Service Center for over thirty years. They provide great value and go the extra mile. This is the best auto shop I have ever been to. They are so professional and detail oriented and the machine gave me the best explanation on what went wrong on my car. I went there because my air conditioner was not blowing. The guy Paul looked at the car for 2 minutes, but did not do any kind of diagnostic test. Then he copied the VIN number and presented me an estimate of $837.42 including $700 labor to replace the blower motor and resistors. I am so glad I got another mechanic to check because it turned out to be nothing more than a plastic electrical connector that failed. Total to replace was $10.00!!!! This place totally tried to RIP ME OFF!!!! PS: The blower motor is held on with 4 screws under the glove box. Even if it needed replacing, it would only be about 1 hour labor!!!! Total thieves. Do not go there if you can help it
