Went with this shop because of the reviews, I had a engine problem. They checked I don't think they took more than 15 mins for a diagnostic and turned out "I needed a new engine" I trusted them and bought an used engine wich they "ordered" paid almost 5k for the engine and service for it to start doing the same exact problem my old engine did i called the shop all they had to say was sorry this happened. This time I took it to the dealership turned out the problem got fixed by just replacing some electrical parts and spark plugs. Dealer told me a couple of spark plugs were burned out and that whoever worked on it before seem to not have replaced em or the electric parts that were malfunctioning. There is no way it was a different issue from my last engine because it had the same exact symptoms. I feel I got taken advantage of and definitely not going there again

Excellent service every time I go! Ive brought all my cars to Kim s because I know he will always be honest about what my car needs and will give a fair price, also the turnaround is always very quick. For as long as I am in the area, I will be bringing my car here.

It should not have taken me this long to write a review. My family and I have been brining our vehicles to Mr Kim and team for 20+ years. I recommend him to all family and friends who need a trusted, non-dealership option. And despite no longer living in Annandale, I still go out of my way for his expert opinion, classy service - and to see an old familiar face. Always a joy to bring a car to Mr Kim for service because I know he values integrity, honesty, and loyalty. A true gem in fairfax. Wish him all the best - and many more years of success.

We got an oil change here. Although we showed up without a reservation, they were able to squeeze me in and their service was quick reasonably priced.

Prices depends on the guys mood. I tend to be more faithful to places that give me good results and even though I've had a few bad experiences with them I continued to support. In a little over a years time I've poured 3800 plus dollars into this place. I've had them lie about services performed on my car and even down play issues because "The job was to hard'" . I was just charged 400 dollars for replacing 8 spark plugs and a air filter. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere . I'm 100% done....

Honest price, and work done every time. Mr Kim is someone my family had a pleasure of doing business with for many years. He always tells us when he is unable to get the job done -- we had to total our car once. He always gives us conservative estimates and is clear on when the job gets done and how much they will cost us.

Mr Kim is a very honorable man. Saved me $1,200 our first visit from what another shop was telling me needed to be done. The work is timely and good. Every family and friend we have recommended him to goes to him.

Asked for an estimate to have a/c repaired and front axles, brake pads and rotors replaced. After getting the estimate, I was told there would be a $50 charge if the work was not done there. Kim's was well recommended. Prices for some items were less and others only a bit more than prior estimates from elsewhere. Decided to have the work done by Kim's.Something happened to the clutch while at Kim's. Mr. Kim and I had a robust discussion over a period of more than two weeks about how to handle this situation but we did finally come to an agreement.I got my car back today and so far I am happy with all the repairs.

Mr. Kim has been working on all our cars for years. He came highly recommended by a carpool mate of my husband's years ago who was very picky about who worked on his family cars. We trust Mr Kim and his employees. Honest, hard-working, trustworthy.

The most horrible place you can and should go for the service. They aren't only lying to you about their charges and prices but trearing you like you are nothing for them. If you want to get a good, honest service along with being treated with respect and courtesy, go somewhere else!!!

Very shady service, unreliable. Charges you for service but leaves other vital work uncompleted and unmentioned. Specifically his shop left my gear box unattached. Arrogant and pig headed.

Great place for foreign and domestic auto repairs. Prices are reasonable too
