If you care about your rims, I recommend getting tires installed somewhere else. Or make sure you record a video of your rims RIGHT BEFORE dropping off the keys at the front desk.The installer here at Costco damaged one of my rims.First picture was the night before I brought them into Costco, where I washed and polished them. Remaining photos are all damage on one of the rims. My guess is that the installer screwed up the first rim on the machine and then adjusted the height on the machine for the remaining three rims, because the other rims did not have any damage. Or maybe they dropped it.The manager who signed off on the install denied fault and said that they were already damaged even though I showed them the picture the night before.The main store manager came out and looked at the damage and did not accept fault, but instead said to bring the car back the following Wednesday 3-4pm so that he could try polishing it out.I came the following Wednesday 3-4pm, and they told me the store manager took off that day. Lol.I am not going to waste anymore time with them.

You get what you pay for with their cheap prices. The tires are not the issue, it s the clueless installer that messes up your rims in the process and when you submit a claim they want proof that it wasn t their employee because that s exactly what everyone does prior to taking your car for new tires.MAKE A VIDEO W/TIME & DATE OF YOUR CAR & TIRES AS SOON AS YOU DROPIT OFF!!!That or buy the tires and have your dealer install them.

It s the lies that hurt the most at this Costco Tire Center. Just because it is spoken in an accent you can t understand doesn t make it any less a lie. It is the lie that your vehicle will be serviced in the order it arrived. It is the lie that it will be done by a certain time. It is the lie that Costco rotation and balance service for the life of your tires is a real thing. It got you to buy your tires here once - don t let it happen again. You are smarter than that.

If there were 0 stars, I would give them this rating. The tires ordered were the wrong ones for a tire installation for my car. I didn t find this out until after booking a walk in appointment at around 11am, where I was told to come back at closing time to collect my car after the tires were installed. I ended up Ubering back to my home in Tysons Corner area only to be called 3.5 hours later to inform me the tires ordered were wrong. I am now Ubering back to collect my car, get a refund and have no plans to work with this Tire Center in the future. Save yourself some time and look elsewhere. I am going back to my dealership/service center where they are friendlier and more efficient. I thought to give Costco a chance since their tire prices were lower but after this experience, I will not return.

10AM appointment, was told an hour to an hour and a half. Went to go check at 12:20PM, car hadn't made it into the bay yet.Some truth would be great so I can plan my day, but I guess screw me and my job and life.

Had the worst customer service experience ever at costco tire center. Dropped my car at 9 am for balance and rotation and it was not done by 8:30pm their closing time, despite the fact that they guaranteed it will be ready by 8:30pm. The guy(his badge name was Toan)at the register was very rude and had a very bad attitude. They make the tire center very unreliable.

Ordered and paid for tires ahead of time on Costco website, chose tires that website said matched spec for the car.Arrived at Costco at 945 for 10am appt. Dropped key and shopped until 1120, they had not even started working on the car. Sat to wait for undetermined amount of time outside, they finally started work at 1145 and told us the tires didn't match the car. Offered others for large upcharge or for us to order and come back.Taking refund and will *not* be coming back.

They have 6 lines and I see 2 lines of auto service is dedicated for walk-in. They take a long time to service the car. I came 8 am, it is 1:20 pm and still waiting. I checked at 1:15 pm and my car was still outside, have not started to work on it.

2 hour tire change with an appointment. I joined the line to drop off my car at 9:20. My car was picked up at 9:34 (noted in my receipt). They gave the car back at 11:38

I do not recommend purchasing tires from the Costco Tire Centre, WestOx Toad, Fairfax. I purchased a complete set of tires two years ago at this location and I regularly went for tire rotations. I noticed two of the tires are now bad and requested for a replacement on the basis of the lifetime warranties on the tires as the time of purchase. However, I was shocked when the Manager refused my request and told me warranties do not cover them. He was so rude that he asked me to purchase new tires from them. I would rather go elsewhere to get my tires replaced instead of giving my money to Costco again.

The technicians work very hard and are willing to accommodate any special requests. In my case, I wanted to mount and balance my new tires to a loose set of wheels I had stored in the car, and then install them on my car. The existing wheels+tires would then be placed in my car. I spoke with Angela at the front and she was great explaining it on the ticket, as well as relaying the information to the techs in the back who received my ticket. I also relayed the information to the techs as the wheels being installed were brand new and I wanted them to be extra careful mounting the tires to them. They did a great job! The techs also reminded me that I should get an alignment since I replaced all four tires, and come back for a torque check in a week.I only retracted one star due to the fact that they are severely understaffed and need extra resources in the front, leading to long lines just to speak to the person behind the desk. Due to this, they also rarely answer the phone and say more than "please hold" to which they never get back to the caller. Also, I'd recommend to the tire manager that they should honor all reservations and their times first, and then accept only a limited amount of walk-ins based upon reservation volume!Lastly, the tire center also seems to attract the most rude customers ever. I'd rate the customers as zero stars if I could. Very entitled.

I purchased tires cheap, had some concerns about the state of the tires and damage to my wheels by Costco installer, Costco said tough luck and if you want them off you will owe us money to remove them and of course they already damaged the wheels. Then I simply wanted to speak to a manager as other employees say they could not address any issues. They claimed a tire manager was not there that day and he was entirely unreachable when they attempted to contact him. Senior story manager talked to me. Demanded to prove I was a member before he would talk to me at all (he was holding the invoice with my member number in his hand, so it was just petty). Eventually said he would ensure he would make sure someone at least called me. They didn't. Original manager unreachable. Lost cause. Damaged wheels, tires well past manufacture date and clearly stored improperly (summers so that is important if they were left out in snow, etc). Waste of time and in the end all I did was save $100 to have damaged wheels and tires that probably lost grip/total life on car due to poor storage.

Called many many times and NEVER pick up the phone. Dropped car at 10 am and needed whole day to do tire rotation. What happens to the people after me? Do they have pick up the car two days later?

It took 2 HOURS for a tire rotation when I had an appointment. At that rate, what s the point of an appointment? My boyfriend got his serviced two days later at Chantilly and it took less than 30 minutes. I won t ever schedule at Fairfax again.

Excellent prices on tires. Expect to wait 2-3 days or more for the tires you order to be delivered to Costco for installation on your car. They don't do alignments so that's another step at another auro or tire center.

Spent close to $1000 on tires here as part of the Michelin promotion. After a month of waiting, the tires never arrived. No one from corporate or the store could figure out when they would arrive. After the promotion ended, Costco canceled my order. I called up corporate and was told to place the order again, and I would likely have to wait another 2 weeks. I thought they were joking. I went to a local store, and they had the same tires in stock with same day installation for $110 less than the price I was told to reorder from Costco. The only positive is that the Costco store employees were very nice over the phone.

Within the last 30 days I bought a set of tires from the Fairfax Costco. I originally bought the tires from Angie who was very helpful. Within two weeks I had an issue with one of the tire popping while dropping my son off at college. I again worked with Angie and Min who helped me get my tire replaced. They worked with me to make sure I was happy with my purchase which I truly appreciate.

They used to be ok at service. I made appointment and come in early. I got number is 9. There were 7, and 8 before mine. I went to shopping and back one hour later. My car was still in the parking lot. I saw 11, 12, and 13 moved into the garage. I went back to check with the front desk. She said she had no control of the technicians. Finally my car moved in to garage to have a tie rotation. It took me almost 2 hours with appointment for a tire rotation. I think walk in might be faster to have services. Very bad management.

*Terrible Service. Don t Come Here.*They are a mess. We scheduled a tire installation appointment with them on Monday for the following Thursday, and dropped off the car on time on Thursday morning for a pick up later at around 5 pm. By 7:30 pm we made four phone calls to ask about the car status, but nobody picked up the phone. We had to take Uber and stop by in person to inquire, only to be told it could take 2-3 more hours because we DID NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT! Huh? Upon insisting we made an appointment, they looked us up in the system, and sure there was our appointment, but we still needed 2-3 more hours to do the installation. We took Uber back home and ended up picking up the car tomorrow morning, with tires having different pressure measurements!We planned in advance and made many inconvenient changes to our day to make sure we do our part and pick up the car on time. That still did not help. They also never cared to return any of the installation fee. And then not to pick up the phone to let us know what is happening after we called you four times? Come on. First and last time I will ever do any business with them.

THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS.I truly don t know where to begin. I had a slow leak on one of my tires. I called before heading to the warehouse to make sure I would be able to receive service since it was about 3.5hrs before they closed. After waiting 25 mins on hold the associate I spoke to said yes I would be able to receive services if it s just a patch job. I arrived and shared that I was there for a patch job due to a flat tire, John (associate at the counter) told me they wouldn t be able to service me today and that I would need to go to Chantilly. I explained to him that I called ahead of time to confirm services and his response was we aren t taking anyone in, would you like me to get a supervisor. After agreeing to speak with a supervisor to explain the situation Erica (Supervisor) told me that she didn t know who I spoke to and whoever spoke to me messed up so they couldn t do anything for me. I watched both John and Erica talk about the associate that took my call at which they said She s always doing this so they knew who took my call. Erica then came to me and said there was just nothing they can do. I explained to her that I left work early, called beforehand and was told I would be serviced, and I wouldn t be able to drive with a flat tire. She then left and came back to tell me they where going to take get my tire serviced. I confirmed with John that I would have my car back tonight. He said yes we will call you once it s done.John then wrote on the paperwork Car must be picked up tonight!!! It s now 10:00pm I haven t received a call. I have to call in late to work and find accommodations to pick up my car hopefully in the morning completed.TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! JUST SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT WAREHOUSE. THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT CARE FOR ANYONE HERE.Should ve gone to Chantilly .

Terrible service. I spent $1000 on tires here. Picked up a nail on the road and brought it in the get it fixed. They tell me to leave my truck for 5 hours. I told them I couldn't do that so they said walk in at 8am when they open and it will be done by around 10:30am. So I make it easy and just bring in the tire at 8am. I confirm it should be done by 10:30-11. They will call when it's ready. By 1pm I have received no call. Try calling the store 20+ times but there's no answer. I connect to the admin office for the store, and am told they will call me. Another hour, no call, so I head back to the store. They have not even touched the tire. No apology, just excuses. So here I sit 6 hours later waiting to have a simple nail hole fixed.They tell me they would have recommended going to a gas station. What's the point of a road hazard warranty?

They willing to work with you if you are willing to work with them, especially Min the manager. They could have decided to not install my tires due to the uniqueness of my mustang setup, but Min decided to work with me after some discussions on the technical details and making clear that any abnormal wear due to the uniqueness will not be covered by costco warranty, they were willing to workout the logistics with me and gave me good advice on alignment and rubbing issues. The installation was successful, and I am satisfied with everything thus far!

0 stars for customer service provided by really unhappy and mad employees. I wouldn't trust tire work done by these people. Yes rotations are "free" in exchange for 4 hours of your life.

*update, after another week, my 4th tire arrived and the appointment went much smoother, lasting only about an hour total.. saved ~$400 compared to nearby quotes for the same.Just showed up to my scheduled appointment after I was notified my already paid for tire order was at the store. Was told by manager Omar that my entire order (only 3 of 4 tires) hadn t arrived yet and would need to be rescheduled to next week. I asked if they check their inventory to match orders received (to maybe notify customers in advance) and was told no. I asked if they checked inventory before a shift for appointments that day, also no. Finally, I asked for any discount for the huge inconvenience and was told I was SOL. Basically, if you enjoy places like the DMV, I recommend this place to you, similar vibes. Costco member for over a decade and first time trying tire center, definitely not worth the savings . Don t be surprised when you wait in line for 20 minutes to be told you ll need to be rescheduled for no fault of your own. Read other reviews, many have had it worse than me

Let me start by saying that I love Costco. Unfortunately dealing with their tire center was was not a good experience. I got a flat tire that day that needed to be replaced. I called ahead and ensured that they had the correct tire in stock and there were 2 options available. I made an appointment to get the tire installed that evening. When I got there, there were 3 people ahead of me and it took 25 minutes before it's before I could make it to the counter to to have the tire installed. The agent then informed me there was only one tire available, and not the one I wanted. Then they told me they could not have have the tire installed that evening. The agent then got the manager who who Incredulously pointed to the monitor and showed me all the people that were ahead of me that had made appointments. I told him I had made an appointment and confirmed over th a phone just 30 minutes before my arrival. He told me to go pound sand because they were too busy to take me. I was upset because I wasted over an hour only to be told be to be told they couldn't take me. If they had told me that I over the phone I would have gone some place else. Bought 4 Michelin Defender LTX M/S 265/65R17 for my 13 year old Tacoma when they had a $150 off sale on Costco. It was $400 cheaper than at the Toyota dealership even with their buy 3 get 4th for $1 toyota had going. Only took a week for them to get them once ordered. The bad was I had an appointment at 11 and it still took 2 1/2 hours. They were behind when I dropped my truck off, they probably overbook themselves with walk-ins. I'm giving them 4 stars because I wait at Toyota service for crazy long times too for even just an oil change so I think this is the norm for car service. They correctly balanced my tires which Firestone was unable to do 5 years ago on my last set of tires which caused steering wheel vibrations at 60mph and I had to get them re-balanced at a Toyota. It's not super easy to correctly balance a tacoma's tires and I rode away from Costco with nitrogen filled and correctly balanced tires for $400 cheaper than the dealer (they don't price match costco sales) with a 70k mile warranty so I'm happy. Immediately started getting 2 more MPG (old tires were down to 2/32" tread) and the ride is quieter and much safer.I recommend you have someone pick you up and drop you off instead of waiting there. They're so busy they don't tell you about your warranty either when you pick up your keys, so look it up or you may void it. Mine has an 70k warranty but you must get your tires rotated every 5000k-6k miles and you must have the people that rotate the tires sign an entry into Michelin's warranty rotation page (in the back of the warranty booklet or print it offline) in addition to keeping the service record saying it was done. I'll be surprised if these last 70k and I'm gonna make sure I get my warranty honored if they don't. Made that mistake with our other car that got Michelins a few years ago. We didn't get them rotated on the right interval a couple times and didn't keep the separate warranty tire rotation record so the 70k warranty is void on those ones though they're holding up fine.

There are days that are busier than others. The wait sometimes can be a little long but the staff is doing a great job. Technicians always do good work on your tires and don t rush just so they can move cars out of the bays faster. I find most of the counter staff are courteous and patient. Recently I really like the appointment system. Twice that I made appointments and brought my cars in for tire balance/rotations. The cars were in and out within one hour. Appointment was at 3pm. Car brought in at 2:45pm. Car brought into a bay at 3pm. Got phone call at 3:40pm.Thank you Fairfax Costco Tire staff.

They handled our tires very well 4 years ago, so I returned. Truly professional and courteous , across the purchasing process. Ordered 4 new Michelins - perfectly handled with text notifications. Made the appointment online and all was professional and efficient for the installation. Super courteous customer service rep this morning... Thank you

I can't speak for the whole Tire Center but this review is just for Shaun. Two weeks ago I was barely able to roll into the parking lot due to a punctured tire rapidly losing air. I had been out with my son at an appointment and, if not for Shaun's kindness, would have had a much tougher day. He was able to patch the tire and get us safely back on the road much faster than anticipated considering the unplanned nature of the stop.
