Circle Auto is honestly the best. Every time you bring your car in they will send you a multipoint inspection and explain the reason why certain services may be needed, which makes me feel safe. They will also have a phone conversation with you before doing the work. They are extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, and friendly. I have recommended them to family and friends because I am confident that they'll be taken care of.

One of the better mechanic shops I ve found in a while. Gabriel, the gentleman I ve spoken with both times I ve gone there, excels in customer care quality. He s worked with me to locate and identify any concerns I may have with my vehicle and how to best approach solving the problem(s) in a manner that would best fit my budget while taking care of what s important. Their entire team there appears to be friendly, knowledgeable, quick, honest and hard working. They invest in quality care towards their customers needs and their vehicle s needs to make a profit rather than using cheap tricks to make a little extra cash. (We ve all seen what those shops are like.. )Pricing here seems fair for the level of quality they offer. It s not cheap but it s not expensive either and they won t try to add on any extra parts or labor hours that aren t necessary. But they will give you quality parts and a peace of mind which is where you may see the price go up.Example 1: Oil change here is about $120. Sure you can go to cheaper places and do a full synthetic for less but I ve heard stories where they won t wait for your old oil to completely drain and they ll just let it mix with your new oil. (Which is no good) Or they won t even replace your oil filter cause it ll look alright enough or they ll use half/half instead of the full synthetic you paid for. Spend $120 here and it s guaranteed fully synthetic, you ll definitely get a new filter, and they ll even add some stuff in there that helps the oil to thicken and thin properly under the right temperatures while cleaning and protecting your engine.Example 2: I needed to get my tie rods replaced on my driver side. A couple other shops that weren t nearly as patient or nice were trying to charge me closer to $1000 to fix it, telling me it was because of how many labor hours were needed, or that the parts needed were expensive. Here it cost me $350 for parts and labor and because it s actually not that hard of a fix they even did an alignment for me after.Here you know what you re paying for. Quality, the truth, peace of mind, and maybe even a little knowledge.And for us motorcyclist out there they ll do safety inspections for us as well! There s also a cycle shop Fairfax Cycles and ATV s right up the road that I highly recommend as well. They were actually the ones who told me about the great people here at Circle Auto Repair.Huge thanks to everyone at Circle and Cycle for being so awesome and always willing to work with me!

Circle Auto was great! I m usually good about inspections but I waited until the last minute. Thankfully they were able to fit me in right before my inspection was due. I m very happy with the results of their service and I appreciated their professionalism and individual attention to my car. Gabriel in the front is great! He let me know what was going on every step of the way and they also provided transportation to the shop. Service was quick and pricing was fair. Definitely recommend!

I went to go get my state inspection and emissions test. They were really nice and they offer rental cars for you! Special shoutout to Gabriel for being very patient and kind throughout the whole process. My apartment needs a parking sticker for the garage so he was nice enough to even transfer that over to the rental temporarily. They update you with texts and calls throughout the whole process so you always know whats going on. I ll be coming back for the next inspection and emissions!

I am new to this neighborhood, coming from New Jersey, I went to Circle Auto Repair for the first Safety Inspection of my Tesla Model Y last year this month. It was a breeze and I came back today for the renewal of the annual safety inspection. All the staff are friendly and courteous and as before the inspection was a breeze. Thank you Circle Auto. This is a great small business auto shop! They thoroughly looked over my vehicle and were honest through the entire process. I appreciate the no pressure tactics and even let me use a loaner car while the work was being done. I came here a while ago to get my car s spark plugs fixed out of desperation. The staff was amazing, welcoming, helpful in every step of the way.From pricing standpoint, it may or may not within your budget but trust me every cent you pay here will be worth for your peace of mind, security and durability of your car. They don t beat around the bush about any surprise fee or one of those we ve just found this and you MUST get this repaired .Every service they recommend is in the order of top priority , meaning they won t push unnecessary repairs or anything down your throat & they ll explain everything without missing a beat. They re honest and great about communicating while your cars getting fixedI had some mistrust with other car shops because of price gouging/preying but this auto shop really changed my mind about how I look at mechanics now.I moved away from Fairfax so I don t visit as often but If I need any major repairs, I ll be coming here!

About a year ago I went to this place for the state inspection because of the great ratings. They tried telling me it would cost $354 to change one of my rear brake lights. They said because of the model they would need to remove the entire rear bumper to get to it. We decided to go to the Hyundai dealer for a second opinion. The mechanic reached up inside, pulled out the old bulb and replaced it with a new one all for about $20 (that was including a tip). On top of this they recommended over $2,600 in additional maintenance. One of them was $135 to change the cabin filter which I was able to do on my own for about $20. Unless you don't mind throwing money away, I wouldn't recommend this place. We ended up just getting the rear bulb replaced then paying the inspection fee.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I am the proud owner of a vintage 1960 Ford pickup truck named Betsey, she was my wedding gift from my husband. She was the truck I wanted all my life, but she came to us in need of some tender loving care and attention and that included updating many of the systems, such as a fuel pump, new gas tank, carburetor, distributor, belts and plugs. Circle Auto was recommended by a dear friend of ours, and I m so happy Betsey found her way into their hands. Michael, Dan, Zach and Scott worked on Betsy and kept us very well informed during the entire process. I could tell that they loved her as much as we do, and when she was finally running like a well-oiled top they were as happy as we were. I trust Circle Auto implicitly and can t recommend them enough for their exemplary service, their expertise, their care and attention that goes above and beyond normal car mechanics. They are not a car repair place, they are aficionados, experts, professionals who deliver personalized service, and who settle for nothing less than a job done completely right We love them and so does Betsey!

I made an appointment over the phone and upon arrival was greeted by a very professional staff member who gave me details on scheduling and a breakdown of the maintenance report I would be receiving. I was getting the required emissions and registration test as well as an oil change but also needed to prep my vehicle for a road trip. The report I received was great, thorough, and I loved the way that go through it line by line and explain everything. It can be overwhelming when you see the whole report and just see dollar signs but the technician was patient and answered every single one of my questions. I was able to pick and choose the work I wanted done but also make a plan for something of the bigger things and when your car is pushing 150 thousand miles there is of course maintenance work necessary. My experience with Circle Auto was excellent. Lena, my service advisor, and Zach, my technician, were both friendly and professional. Lena was a timely and effective communicator and I always felt well informed about the whole servicing process. I went to the shop for a simple VA safety inspection and got a professional and thorough report of every issue that was discovered on my vehicle, along with photos to highlight what was observed. There was no pressure from the shop to perform any repairs and Lena offered suggestions of repairs which should be addressed first. To top it off, Circle Auto offered to drop me off and pick me up from my residence since I lived close enough. Jeff, who is the owner, was the one to drive me both ways. He was courteous, friendly and prompt. The service here goes truly above and beyond and I'm more than satisfied with the experienceService: Vehicle Inspection

Disgusting rental car (really old and smelled like smoke). Bait and switch, lack of understanding the car, or poor communication, because they said they d do one thing and did another. By default they use non-name brand, cheaper fluids. All this and their rates are still really high. Whole experience burned my britches. Looked like late model American cars may be their thing certainly not European from my experience.

Top class customer service - I called to schedule an appointment to get my oil changed and have the maintenance light evaluated in my car. Brandon was extremely courteous and helpful, laying out all the details of the services to be provided clearly. They offered me a loaner car to use while mine was being serviced at no extra cost. Once my car had been inspected I was sent a comprehensive list of all the evaluates pieces accompanied with the shop s recommendation of what needed to be serviced based on urgency. Total service time was less than 3 hours and I could not be more satisfied with the entire experience. Will certainly be returning for future service, and recommending to any who need service on their vehicle.Service: Oil change

This was my first time coming here, since I am new to the area and they did not disappoint! Gabriel at the front desk was very kind and informative, and walked me through everything. I got my state inspection done, and they were very timely. They even do a free full car inspection that includes just about everything for your car. I will be coming back!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Used Circle Auto way back in the 90's for a repair. Found out they were still going at it. As a ACVW owner, its hard to get someone around the DMV to do service. Jeff (owner) used to drag race Bugs in the 80s. He knows the cars inside and out, and is training techs to learn on them. I also see a lot of American V8s there too. Definitely a place for classic cars! I recommend them to my VW club members and they have worked with me when I was in need. Customer service is stellar. They employ an app to keep you abreast of the work as it proceeds. A+ all around!!Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine tuning

I came down from NY for an event and realized last minute I needed an oil change. On the way down I experienced minor issues with my truck. I googled repair shops in the area and found this to have the best reviews within the past few months. I scheduled an appointment and that s when I should ve known not to come here. I was told it was surprising I knew the size of my own trucks engine trim level. When I arrived to my appointment it was fine, but when he called me back. A large list of items were rattled off to be wrong with my truck. Multiple brakes. Multiple rotors and pads. All my filters, fluids, an alignment, and of course the oil change. Upon asking for costs, I was told it would be nearly $1,000 JUST for a two rotors and pads. $350 for a transmission fluid change. $250 for an alignment. I m not sure if these are normal prices for the DC surrounding areas but those are out of this world high. I still paid $150 for just my oil change. Being a woman and from out of state, I felt like they 100% attempted to ring me DRY of my money. Again, maybe those prices are common for this area but they should not be.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I called Circle Auto and spoke with Brandon about a pre-purchase inspection of a 2000 Jeep Cherokee I was considering purchasing. Brandon was SO PATIENT and explained the process, cost, and final report with this service, and was able to schedule the service that morning. I am someone who calls everything inside of a car a "doo-dad", so the thorough inspection, expert evaluation, and detailed findings in the report helped me make the decision not to buy that car. Zach, the technician, personally pointed out the MANY areas of concern, and even I could tell the car was a lemon.Overall, my experience with Circle Auto Repair has been the best of my life (for real), and I will certainly be seeing them again for any car issues (hopefully, not too soon though :)! Thank you!!!

Working with Circle Auto was amazing! The team diagnosed my vehicle s engine issues quickly, and came up with multiple plans/recommendations for repair. After they started working on the quoted repairs, they found ways to reuse/recondition existing parts to save over $500 off the original estimate. My service representative, Brandon, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and obsessed with customer service. The team was exceptionally accommodating with the loaner vehicle situation, making my life easier and reducing stress in the situation. I had a great experience with Cirlce Auto Repair. My older truck had an electrical issue that no shop wanted to touch. Circle Auto Repair worked really hard on the issue and communicated very effectively with me throughout the process. Very professional shop that fixed my vehicle.

I had a great experience with Circle Auto Repair! I brought my car in for a safety and emissions inspection and they did a multi point vehicle inspection as well. I ve had my 2017 RAV4 serviced here for routine maintenance twice and they have always done a great job! The techs will do a full inspection and before they do anything, they will send you a report with suggested repairs, including itemized prices. Lena will go over everything on the list with you and will not pressure you into repairs you don t want to get done.They also provide free courtesy cars that you can borrow if you don t have a ride. Last time I went, they had to order a part for my car and I was able to keep the courtesy car overnight at no charge! As someone in a one-car household, this is a huge perk.Compared to going to a dealership for routine maintenance, I think their prices are fair and their customer service is way better. Plus, I m always happy to support a small local business.

We went for VA state inspection and I like their service. Specifically, manager Leena is awesome, she really cares about circumstances of clients and suggests reasonably optimal repair list as much as it needs to drive safe and keep your vehicle healthy. The best part was they provided loaners as long as we got our vehicle back which is helpful for whom doesn t dwelling nearby. With the loaner facility, we were able to go for shopping and visited restaurant meanwhile the car was ready to pick up. Also, they offer shuttle for the local residents.

All the issues with the car were found and recommendations made. Detailed estimated cost for maintenance and repairs were provided and explained over the phone. The work was completed as scheduled. The staff are very well experienced, friendly and courteous. The work done has a warranty.
