I should have read the reviews before bringing my car here. I had the hood replaced which involved painting it. It was an insurance job. Upon pickup I couldn't even open the hood properly and the side gill was not in alignment which meant further delay for picking it up. Now the paint is falling off in chunks as shown in the picture! It was always hand washed and the rest of the factory paint on the car looks great so I know it is related to their work. Unfortunately, they refuse to work with a repair center local to me to get this fixed as I no longer live in that area. I should have stuck with an insurance company recommended shop as I would have been able to get it repaired fixed almost anywhere in the country under warranty.

No one wants to have to visit the collision center, but thankfully, Karl over at BMW of Fairfax Collision Center made this stressful process a bit more manageable.I dropped my 330i off earlier this year after an accident. It took a few weeks for everything to be repaired, during which Karl remained in contact via text and phone calls. My questions and concerns were responded to in a timely manner. The car was 100% fixed and they did a wonderful job painting and cleaning both the exterior and interior. Thank you for a wonderful job! Hope I never have to see y'all again, but if I'm in another accident or need repair work done, I'll be coming here!

Karl (manager) and Ryan (estimator) are the best. I ve had a bunch of small issues with my new car after buying and servicing it at another BMW dealer in Alexandria and had to bring it to BMW of Fairfax Body Shop. They took care of me in the most polite way possible with the best customer service I ve ever had at a body shop. Appreciate you guys!!!

A deer jacked up the bumper of my vehicle, so I brought my vehicle to BMW of Fairfax collision center. They did a great job, but they could definitely work on communicating better in regards to frequency. It did take about two months for my car to be repaired, but that was due to the supply chain issues that are going on right now. I am very satisfied with their work.

My X4 got keyed on the passenger side door. Took it to BMW s Body Shop and they not only repaired the door in less time than predicted, but also repainted other small nicks, Karl kept me apprised of every stage and the body shop guys even detailed the interior. My car looks and smells brand new! Highly recommend!Service: PaintingService: Painting

Karl was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the repair process. He helped me to navigate to a more favorable outcome with my insurance claim (for a hit-and-run) and texted frequent status updates. Every time I had a question, I received a prompt and complete answer from Karl. The repair was done well and finished relatively quickly (another top-rated local shop couldn't even accept my car until 3 weeks from now).Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They gave me an estimate that I thought was shockingly high. I was right. It was about 3-4 times what the other five closest shops quoted me later the same day. Don't go here as a single female.

I repaired my car with replace the headlight. I left my vehicle over there for one and half month. I know it is my responsibility to take out my belongings. They has disclaimer, saying they are not responsible for any lose, but I have to warn other people who is going to repair car here that they have thief in their maybe repair team, maybe cleaning team (not sure). Someone stole my watch that I left in the storage box in the center of my car. It worth $2000. I don t understand why someone need to open that box. I think they know they have disclaimer, so they are free to take anything expensive that you left in the car. The repair has no problem, but you need to be careful with the thief. By the way, the repair time is super long.

My bmw needed some body and suspension work from a collision, and these guys did an amazing job. My car feels even better than before. Henry kept me updated through the whole process, and explained how they were going to approach the repairs. I d always recommend having your bmw repairs done at the fairfax body shop, they re the only experts I d trust with my personal vehicle.

Ryan at the body shop was very effective, thoughtful and professional. He corresponded with me via email updating me on the precess/progress of my car s financial (with my Insurance agency) and body work. I give Ryan A+ for the manner he has handled the overall of the repair of my car. Thank you!

When a tree branch fell on my car, I wanted to make sure a certified BMW shop was doing the repair when I went through insurance, so I decided to go here. I was told I would receive frequent updates on the progress of the repair, but I was only contacted by them when the car was dropped off and when it was ready for pickup 1.5 months later, which was very inconvenient since I live 2 hours South. If they aren't calling you, make sure to call them, because they WILL not call. I was also supposed to be given some Uber credits which I never received. The only reason I gave any stars at all is because when I finally did get the car back, the work was phenomenal. Every single dent, even the microscopic ones were gone, and the paint looked as if it came from the factory. The service people need to be way better about informing you on the progress of your vehicle, but if you have enough patience, the BMW technicians will do a phenomenal job. Another case of poor quality middlemen service advisors overshadowing outstanding work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Went to this shop for several years for our bmws, towing and driving all the way from Leesburg, cause Henry was professional and friendly on the first time. Then this time, with almost $12,000 of body service, it took 1 month to schedule and 2 months to complete the job.Henry became arrogant with poor customer service:(. Seems he lost the passion for his loyal customers:) I don t need to go to this shop any longer as either they are busy enough to not take care of their loyal customers or short staffed and stressed.I will just repair my bmws near Leesburg now on.It s a shame how people change with a bit of success:(Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This is the second time I visited the shop. First time was about 10 years ago, second time was last month. I have to say their customer service and attention to detail was fantastic this time around. I had the pleasure of working with Kyle. He guided me through the process and was clear to explain how everything worked. He was also prompt with his follow up. I appreciated the constant text messages to let me know what was going on, pictures, dates, the follow up with my insurance company, and the overall quality of work they did. I m happy with the shop, will definitely return if needed. I had one of my doors keyed and they blended the metallic paint beautifully. I was worried that I was going to be something noticeable, but the concern was unfounded. Thanks Kyle and team for making the process so seamless!Service: Painting

This place works & accomplishes tasks about as fast as a slug competing in a triathlon. I could probably have my first kid, raise him to adulthood, send him off to college and watch him become a successful member of society before they get done with my car. Unless you plan on not having your vehicle for 3 months longer than the wait time that they tell you to anticipate, do not bring your car here. Responsiveness is subpar, the explanation for why things take so long is completely lacking, stories change every week, and I still don't have my car back so who knows what the quality of work will be like. If my car was incredibly damaged (and I mean dropped off of a cliff) I would understand but I seriously cannot wrap my head around how it can possibly take "professionals" this long to order parts, disassemble, reassemble & repair a vehicle when that's literally all this place is meant for, especially considering it's a luxury car brand. I've never dealt with any place of business that seems less considerate of handling a customer issue or at the very least seeming confident in the process and time frame of which said issue will be resolved. I have never once left a negative review on any service or place of business in my life but my experience here has left no other option, and to my dismay, I have to resort to documenting my experience here. Zero out of five stars.

My vehicle was involved in a fender bender collision and sustained damage to its bumper. I took it to BMW of Fairfax Collision Center, and it was the best decision that I made. From the moment I walked in, I was treated as a valued customer. The Manager was extremely kind and went above and beyond to get me home. Henry was assigned as my Representative, and I can say without fear of contradiction, that he was extremely professional, caring, and knowledgeable. BMW of Fairfax Collision Center also offers a fantastic online dashboard which updates you about the status of repairs. Accordingly, you do not have to constantly call to seek updates. Upon the conclusion of the repairs, I retrieved my vehicle, which was in impeccable conditions. The craftsmanship was superb. The front of my vehicle looked as new. I highly recommend BMW of Fairfax Collision Center, Henry and the rest of the staff.Service: Body & Trim

Don't be the patient and nice customer waiting on your car to be finished. It will cost you. They took longer than my rental car one month maximum causing me to pay out of pocket for a rental. I discovered a serious problem with their work 3 hours after picking up the vehicle. They ultimately stopped responding to emails about my concerns, and didn't return calls. We wound up in court over all of it. Absolutely terrible experience and my first negative review ever.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I took my 328i to BMW of Fairfax Collision Center to repair a small dent that insurance covered. BMW accepted the insurance company's quote and completed the repair within three days. They kept me informed the entire time with email, text, and phone updates. The repairs were immaculate, and they did a great job of cleaning the inside of my car - it looked and smelled like it had been detailed! I would definitely take my car there again.

Henry at BMW Fairfax Collision Center is the best. He restored my car to beautiful original condition when it was hit and damaged in front and rear. He provided excellent customer service throughout the process with regular call and email updates to calm down by worry. Months later, a small cover on my bumper was stolen and he gave me a replacement for free. I would not take my car anywhere else!

Henry Garcia is simply the best! From the time we brought in my 4 month old, 2018 BMW that was struck by a drunk driver, Henry's compassion, professionalism and thoroughness turned this terrible situation completely around! He had an estimate provided in less than 30 minutes and then the professionals at the shop had my BMW looking better than brand new is 5 days!! Henry used BMW's notification system that will email and text you every day with the status of your vehicle and where exactly it is in the repair process. This was so helpful and I looked forward to that notification at the end of the day knowing that my BMW was closer each day to completion. Henry made us feel important and treated us with such respect. Once they pulled it around for our inspection, we noticed was washed and looked amazing! We cannot thank you enough Henry!

The short version, my experience was pretty terrible. The much longer version is laid out a little below. NOTE: this is only a review of the body shop, not the service center where I've always had a great experience and great service.5/3/19 Dropped off car at the body shop for repairs to the rear of the vehicle after getting rear ended + interior detail. They said it might be 1-2 weeks, but they wouldn't be sure until they started the repair.6/3/19 Email notifying me repair was completed.6/4/19 Went to pick up car with my parents around 9am. The rear work looked good. Car was not detailed. Upon getting home, we noticed the driver's side door lock was not working at all. My parents took the car back to the shop.6/6/19 Went back in the morning to pick up the car, thinking the lock would be repaired. Nope. Trevor said it was not their fault and that it was just "wear and tear" that they did not do any work on that door. I understand they did not take the door apart, but they did have to open and close that door and they had to reset the lock system so I don't buy that the door coincidentally just broke all by itself during the month the car was in their hands at the shop. Needless to say the conversation got heated. My mother asked for proof that they didn't brake the lock and Trevor responded by saying he didn't need to prove anything to us and that it was the end of the discussion and they were not going to fix it. Incredibly rude service. I asked to speak with the manager so we went inside and Trevor attempted to call the body shop manager, Danny Guilliams. Danny was in an accounting meeting, but stood firm that it was not their fault. After about 10 minutes, Danny walked through the door. I guess it was a pretty short accounting meeting. He did not introduce himself until we asked if he was the manager. He was even more rude correcting my mother when she said "tear and wear" and responding laughingly in a mocking way. He claimed it took so long because my insurance wanted them to put "junk" parts on the car and they wouldn't do it which I thought was extremely unprofessional to share. He offered to cover the labor of the door repair if I paid for the part. I wanted to speak with the GM so I got his name and we left.6/8/19 The GM, Mike Walker, and I finally got in touch Saturday evening. He still did not accept responsibility for the lock, but apologized for the bad service and offered to cover the cost of labor for the repair, complete the detailing, and fill the tank. While I was and still am incredibly annoyed that BMW would not accept full responsibility for the door repair (especially given it was a ~$300 repair), Mike was not rude and explained the reasons they would not accept responsibility and did what he could to make a fair offer to fix the issue. I was happy enough with that.6/17/19 I dropped off my car at the body shop for the door repair, detailing, and tank fill up. Repair was supposed to take 1 day so I did not get the rental offered to me.6/18/19 Did not hear from them all day with an update so I called around 4pm to check the status. I was told detailing was finishing up with it so it would be ready around closing and I could go the next morning to pick it up.6/19/19 Parents went to pick up the car for me. Everything was amazing! Just kidding, I wish. The material on the inside of the door handle had been clearly chipped, and the entire handle was loose. They were trying to go with the "wear and tear" argument again, but Trevor was very professional this time. I called the GM and in a few minutes he came back on the line that they would order the part to fix the handle, and fill the tank which they forgot to do. The part was supposed to arrive the next day.6/21/19 Got a call in the afternoon that the car was ready. Finally this time everything looked good and the tank was filled up as promised. The body shop manager, Danny Guilliams, never showed his face which I personally consider to be poor management.Just bad all around.

Even though my car took over two months to repair (parts on backorder), I have to say that Henry was really excellent to work with. Also, they did excellent work on my X5. Worth the wait!

When getting into my garage I scraped the front bumper of my BMW on the right corner. It left a six inch white mark. The BMW collision center gave me an estimate for over $1100 to repair the damage.I took it to another collision shop in Fairfax. The person there advised me to go to a car detail shop and see if they can buff the bumper and polish it. He said it was worth a try first.I stopped by at the Embassy Wash and talked to the detail person. He had a yellow cloth with some cleaner liquid. He just swiped the bumper and everything got cleaned in a second. Just like original. He didn't even charge me.

Fortunately or unfortunately, I found myself in need of some body work when my F32 got t-boned. I had used body shops in Vienna in the past, but decided to give these guys at BMW of Fairfax a shot. I had used their service center before, but never the body shop. Luckily, I got Henry Garcia to take care of me and he alone is enough reason for me to come back here in the future. He was upfront with costs and timelines, communication was frequent throughout the process. When I finally got my car back a month later, it was beautiful again! As I was detailing it over a weekend, I noticed some areas that bugged me. Emailed Henry and he asked me to bring my car back in right away so they could fix my issues. A few days later when the weather warmed up, I noticed a little sound each time I rolled my window down, again, I notified Henry and he took care of it right away. Now I know it's one thing when someone else's insurance is footing the bill, but still, if I have to spend my own money to fix something on my BMW, I'm pretty sure I'll be heading back to these guys.

Great work and constantly updating me on the progress of the work. The staff was very responsive and friendly. The work took longer than they originally said it would but that was the fault of the insurance company. As for the price, it was expensive, more expensive than I thought it would be but they did a great job and they're fixing a BMW, not a Toyota.

These guys rock. Our car was declared a total loss by the insurance company, but we knew -- based on where the tree branch fell -- it could be fixed by pros. Henry Garcia was great -- he kept us informed at every stage, gave us a reasonable estimate, and did a super job. Our car passed inspection with flying colors and we couldn't be more pleased.

Worst customer experience ever. Initially they committed to fixing my car within 2 weeks. Never heard back and when i called they said they got another urgent request and had to start working on that. Finally got back my car 5 weeks later and had to pay rental out of my pocket for 3 weeks since insurance wont cover due to unnecessary delay. The staff was extremely rude and nothing what you expect out of BMW associated center.

I loved the way their portal periodically provides updates on stages involved in fixing the car. Though the repair took a little more time than anticipated, I guess the wait was worth it coz my car was returned back to me in excellent conditions. Special thanks to Mr. Henry Garcia :)

Horrible customer service but great work done to my vehicle. My suggestion would be to only take what you can handle to ensure you can provide great customer service, because at some point there is a such thing as having too much business at one time. My car was in for repair and if an ACCURATE estimate was completed before the start of repair, the car would've been considered total loss because so many issues were found along the way. A two WEEK repair turned into two MONTHS!
