Austin provided truly exceptional customer service. He helped me recycle my used motor oil, tested my battery and help me pick out and install a new battery. Go Austin!!

D'Anthony (hope I'm spelling that right) gave me exceptional service today. Mine was a car that Autozone does not install batteries for since it could require an electronic system reset from the dealer. Understandably, store associates are hesitant to go above and beyond and install the battery anyway, because some people could then complain about not having their electronic system reset afterwards, which is quite the sucker punch given store associates did not have to install the battery for them to begin with. Anyway, D'Anthony was knowledgeable, friendly, and just overall someone I'd recommend to anyone headed to this Autozone location.

I was frequenting this location to buy parts until the store representative promised me a 15% discount for a larger purchase so long as I purchased a $5 bundle of other products. When I agreed, he rung me up and pretended to convince me that I got my discount. I happen to know math very well, and the register did not give me a single percent discount at all. In fact, it just added $5 more for the bundle. I questioned him on it, and he then said he would have to get a manager to fix the register. The manager came and basically said he couldn't offer 15% and would only give me 10% and proceeded to enter the 10% discount, and the register only reduced the bundle cost by 10% and not the entire bill. I told him, why he was not honoring what his employee had promised me, and he stated the employee did not have the authority to provide the discount. I stated that his employee had delegation authority and the discount should be honored. Then another employee jumped in to defend the manager and provide his illogical analogy without anyone asking him to join the conversation. I basically had three people ganging up on me, the customer, on why they wouldn't honor their promise. I decided not to buy the products and never return here. It was their loss on that day and all future purchases I would have made. Arguing with a customer in a harassing tone is just bad business. I reached out to to email below and it was a total waste of time. The general manager did absolutely nothing to rectify the complaint. He just listened and no apology either.

I had a terrible experience with @AutoZone, and I want to ensure that others know the issues I faced.I visited their service center at Fairfax, VA, in Fairfax BLVD, to get new wipers for my car. Unfortunately, the wipers they recommended failed shortly after I installed them. When I returned to @AutoZone about the issue, they blamed me for choosing 'cheap' wipers and insisted that I should have bought more expensive ones.Feeling like I had no other choice, I purchased the more expensive wipers as suggested. However, even these wipers were not easy to install. When I reached out to the agent again about the problem, they accused me of breaking parts and wanted to charge me for the replacement. It was a frustrating experience, and I decided not to repurchase a new one.To add insult to injury, the staff at @AutoZone mocked me and refused to refund me. Their attitude towards me was utterly unprofessional and disrespectful. When I asked to speak to the agent, he told me all of them were the managers and smirked at me.The whole ordeal cost me $63.58 and left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I hope that by sharing my experience, others will be spared from having to go through a similar #AutoZoneFail and #CustomerServiceNightmare. Beware of @AutoZone!

You can have your check engine light checked for free. If you have a light out; buy it there and they replace it for free. No one else does that.

Recently did ball joints and brakes on my truck. Rented 4 ball joint kits before I finally found the right one. Returned them all for the full deposit amount saving me hundreds in tools on a job I won't be doing again anytime soon. The staff was helpful *but not overbearing* like the advance across the street.

I had a wonderful experience in AutoZone today. I needed back light bulbs for my car and Mark provided his experience with my car. He was excellent explaining the various bulbs for this car. Would go back there for auto parts!

AUTOZONE AUTO PARTS FAIRFAX #1665I went to autozone on 4/11/21 without a mask because of a medical condition I have.When I was standing in line, the associate named Durwood who was with a customer, stopped what he was doing with the customer at his counter and began arguing with me about putting on a mask, AFTER I told him that I could not wear a mask due to a medical conditionDurwood told me that I would have to leave the store and that I would not be helped after I told him that in Virginia I could not be denied entry or service if I had a medical condition which prevented me from wearing a maskBecause of Durwoods misguided arguing with me in front of other customers, these other customers began to engage into the conversation with vulgarity and threats towards me. At no time did I respond with any vulgarities or any threatening manners towards Durwood, or any of other customers who chose throw insults.I left the store as I saw there was a phone number for the regional/district manager on the outside of the door when I first entered. I called the district manager Joseph Stevens and was told that I was correct and that I could not be denied entry or service, and that he would call the store.I reentered the store, Durwood began shouting for me to leave in front of other customers, I told him a district manager would be calling the store to correct him.The other customers resumed their repeated vulgarities and threats.There was a customer who walked into the store with a dog, Durwood did not ask them if it was a service animal or if they were simply bringing their personal pet into the store. It was a large sized dog and was not wearing any service animal vest or equipment. The dog owners who heard Durwoods vocal breakdown, began cursing at me in passing.You have a situation where an employee named Durwood was not only misinformed on covid policy, after I politely told him that I had a medical condition and that I could not be denied entry or service because of that.His arguing with me, from across the store, with multiple customers between us, endorsed the other customers fear to be expressed by lashing out at me with vulgarity and threats, which he did nothing to curtail or control.If Durwood was truly concerned with covid policies, no social distancing was enforced as people were standing close together in line and he said nothing to the couple who brought their personal dog into the store. Dogs are not immune from spreading covid.Store employees are free to review the security footage of the entire incident and verify all of my claims.it was yesterday, 4/11, around 1:40pmTo anyone who thinks that Durwoods actions were justified, you are 100% within your right to agree with what he did, but that does not make them legal, right, or within autozone policy.I have included a photo of the gentleman who identified himself as an "attorney" , who then proceeded to insult me, unprovoked. He is getting into a grey Honda S2000, VA tags UVW-8481.

DO NOT SKIP THIS REVIEW!These guys and gals working at this location are nothing but the BEST! From my 2 years of driving, I know that's not much, I have always went to this exact AutoZone because I know the people working there are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! I was never NOT greeted by the employees inside and whenever I had a question, they would answer it in a way even non-car guys/girls would understand! This AutoZone has everything you need in times of need. Not once have I entered this AutoZone and left unhappy!

What a great experience today! It was the third parts store I went to and I was finally able to get what I needed thanks to Travis!He was knowledgeable, energetic, and empathetic. Travis knew exactly how to troubleshoot my issue and help me get the correct serpentine belt for my Chevy Trailblazer.I'm a very happy customer and think I found my new go to parts store. I had a fantastic experience at this store.Prior to coming here, I went to the AutoZone store in South Riding to get my battery replaced. The service rep looked up my car info and discovered that my vehicle would require more than 30 minutes to service. Because of that, they refused to service my vehicle. Apparently it was a store policy to refuse service for vehicles that could take longer than 30 minutes to work on. I was a bit annoyed because about 4 years ago, I had my battery replaced at the AutoZone store in Fairfax Boulevard without any issues. If I recall correctly, it didn't take 30 minutes.I left the South Riding AutoZone and came to this store to see if they could service my vehicle like they did 4 years ago. And voila! The service rep checked my vehicle info and said he could definitely work on it. The transaction went smoothly and the rep came out to service my vehicle right away. What was surprising was that the rep was able to complete the battery replacement in less than 10 minutes. The rep was kind, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire process.I've been coming here for years and had nothing but pleasant experiences. I will definitely refer this store to others!

I ve been coming here for three years and the customer service has been great up until few months ago. The manager Brad can be very arrogant and shows a lack of interest in wanting to assist with certain customers/ things. It s shocking considering that I had just given a manager a very good compliment on the customer service in this store. Everyone else I have worked with here has been extremely helpful however he has made me feel unwelcome in this store on three occasions but I m going to continue to come here and hopefully one day he will learn to treat everyone equally and with respect.

My car wouldn't start and the place I normally take it for service gave me the next appointment- ten days out. No good! So I got my multimeter and Google and verified my hunch that it was time to replace the battery.I called AutoZone and they verified they would help me change the battery right there so I got the jumper cables and drove over.It was about 8 PM and I figured the guy behind the counter would be annoyed by my request. To my surprise he was happy and helpful from start to finish. I learned a couple of things from chatting with him through the process which took about 20 minutes.I believe that he would have helped me test the battery to verify that it was the problem if I had asked. In any case, it was faster and cheaper by half compared to the service center. Recommended.

Best auto parts store in the 'verse! Came in for a couple items to pass inspection. The Saturday crew today was on point. They were very organized, timely, professional, and go out of their way to help you out if they can. Some of the best prices in the area, too. I've saved a ton of money on costly repairs thanks to this place! They never make you feel like you're bothering them, always happy to help with recommendations. If only more shops were this great!

This AutoZone in particular is so helpful! Had a code popping up with a check engine light and they brought the machine out to take care of it. When they realized it was simply a tripped sensor they fixed it for me. Everything for free. Super friendly. Will always give them my business. Raul you are the best!

An employee at this store was EXTRAORDINARILY rude today. He actually raised his voice yelled at me. And, he was unhelpful - didn t even try to help, in fact. Perhaps he was having a bad day? Regardless, it was so unpleasant, I will Not likely ever patronize this location again. Boo!

Mark Ola is the best. He helped me during my visit and really a nice guy. I ll always ask for him every time I go there, cause he has knowledge to help people.#AutoZone, you re doing really great job asking customers to wear the mask. I know, some people really don t want to wear mask because they don t care about other people s life, but I really appreciate your hard work.

It was dark and I needed two new low beam headlight bulbs. I was so worried about driving in the dark without lights, that I neglected to get the name of the clerk who asked if I wanted her to install them. YES! THANK YOU! What a relief! I wouldn't have tried to install them at night without adequate light. I am so grateful for her friendly and competent customer service. If store personnel see this, please let her know she is a wonderful employee.

Yesterday I could not get my battery replaced until right before closing around 10pm. Demond (I think, I didn't get a great look at the nametag) and Dennis at the end were so friendly and helpful. They worked with my rusty, small car and did not complain once. They definitely deserve a raise and praise!! Thanks guys!
