The Auto Body World team did a great job in repairing paint damage to my vehicle. Quick service, and friendly customer service. I would wholeheartedly recommend this shop to anyone in need of repairs.

I found myself desparately needing exterior repairs after being involved in a shooting accident in D.C. Not only was my front-end damaged, but the side door and frame.I had taken it a few places to get quotes and the owner here, James, was the most pleasant, direct, and honest about what work needed to be done. I went to him a few times, asking for different quotes for varying amounts of work - each time his demeanor was welcoming, and he was very polite and quite charming which allowed me to trust him almost immediately. Ultimately I chose to have everything fixed, and he and Danny were very professional and gave me a realistic timeline about repairs.After about 10 days, I went to pick up my car and was thoroughly satisfied with the results. The price was very fair and the work makes it look brand new! I hope not to be involved in any more accidents or need any work done but if I do, I would gladly continue to support this business and I would make the same recommendation to my friends. Thanks ABW!

First thing is first Service is 100% very friendly people. I have gone to many different places of collision centers in VA. I highly recommend this place. Some other places my family and cousins never gave me good feed back until now finally i can give you honest review to this place. As you see in the picture I have red car. It s hard to match red colors but they really did fantastic job. I m really pleased how job was done. All the angles I have checked if there s any other blemishes or discolored. This is probably the best collision and auto body care in VA. I will be your customer again for the future. Thank you very much expedited getting car done quick super awesome!

I took my car in recently to have it looked at. The airbag sensor below the seat was not working properly and the alignment felt off. The car was serviced very quickly, the staff was very direct and polite and my car has been functioning better ever since it has been serviced. I highly recommend Virginia residents living near the area to bring their vehicles in for service. Highly trustworthy, highly attentive and transparent.

Excellent craftsmanship! David made the process easy and understood that I m very particular when it comes to bodywork. Amazing job on a three stage color blend, car looks like new. Third time using this shop, I always feel like family as opposed to another customer. I have just had problems with my rear brakes suddenly on the road and search the nearby auto repair shop with high rating reviews. First time i stopped by at the Auto Body World. James Kim is the owner, he is very nice and skillful. I am glad with good service, professional and fast at this store. It was established since 1983 with auto repair and body services. I will come back if i need any car service. Thanks Mr Kim! Five stars for the service.

My car needed the front end replaced after being hit, twice, by hit-and-run drivers over the past 6 months. Auto Body World previously did great work on my daughter's car, so I called for an estimate and they were significantly less than other shops in the area. The work was fantastic, and they finished earlier than promised -- and went above and beyond the contracted work to ensure my car looks amazing. They even washed and did a mini-detail to the interior. Very nice place, honest, and I highly recommend!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I left my Bmwx5 the other day, but this time I left another car, so I couldn't match the time and told me to pay 300$ more. It's ridiculous, so don't go here next time. Don t go way my suggestion

It depends on who you talk to. David was very knowledgeable and helpful with my issue. He was able to get a new bumper for my car that matched the paint.However, when I got my car back there was a rattling noise. I called to see if they'd look at it. Josh told me that I'd have to pay for them to look at my car. I took the car to my mechanic. They told me the fender was not reattached - a part that needs to be removed to get to the bumper. It's beyond frustrating since that cost/repair that should have been covered by Auto Body World.

David and Danny and the guys are friendly, honest, and communicate well with the customer. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. I had the trunk of my Mazda looking brand new after an unfortunate accident. Most recently, they made a minor repair to my daughter s car in a timely manner, at a fair price. If I m ever in need of auto body work in the future, these are the guys I m calling!

Owner is very nice and the customer service was great! I went to get my car checked, due to the steering wheel vibrating and making noise when I drove. They checked the tires, breaks, and steering wheel, which was more than I asked for.

This place is pretty awesome! I scratched up the bumper to my girlfriend's brand new car, and was looking for a great place to get this fixed in Fairfax. Based on the damage (scuffs, some scratches), it looked like it could be buffed out but I was expecting the worst - a full bumper repaint. I went to a couple of places and both said that a bumper repaint would be required (the second place offered to use touch up paint and buffing also, but said there was deep paint damage and it wouldn't be perfect).I arrived at Auto Body World (after reading Yelp reviews) and Danny took care of me real quick. He looked at the car, and just told me to hold on before he gave me an estimate. He came out with his gear, and buffed out about 90% of the damage (including what was identified as "deep paint scratches"). There was one actual scratch where paint came off, and he provided me with solutions to get it taken care of in case we didn't want to go forward with the full repaint. He also provided me with the bumper repaint estimate which I requested just in case we wanted to go that route one day.In the end, the buffing did the job for a very reasonable price, and even the full repaint estimate was much more competitive than the other places I went to. I highly recommend supporting this business, customer service is top notch and the work is exceedingly great.

A little bit hard to find, and the local business looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but they do outstanding work. ABW did a great job on my body work, and also did some mechanical work to fix some trouble codes on my M3 - beating another estimate by a BMW shop by thousands of $$. David kept me updated all the way through the process. Finally found an honest mechanic.Services: Painting, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim

I selected this auto body repair location based on the previous outstanding Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Danny (in the front office) was professional, courteous, responsive, and organized. The staff did an excellent job on the repairs and it's very high quality work. My car was delivered on the day originally promised and looked good as new. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs auto body repairs.

I was sent here the first time by the insurance company. I am so glad they did as I have brought all of my vehicles here for repair at one time or another. They stand behind their work 100% and the repairs are done on time. Please continue reading.It is with a heavy heart I need to amend this review. I feel like I lost a trusted advisor. I had brought my vehicle there for what looked like very extensive damage. I begged David (Not Danny) not to total it, to do everything he could to repair it using the cheapest parts he could find. He said it was a total loss, insurance and DMV were notified. We decided to keep the vehicle and find another one comparable since the motor was new (Amongst a ton of other new parts) and we could just switch it out. The shop I took it to called me 10 minutes after I dropped it off and said "Why are you doing this? I can fix this truck" Yes, and they did, for a fraction of what David totaled it for. I still have a lot of hoops to jump through with insurance and DMV but the truck is totally repaired. I have no idea what the logic was, but I will not ever be going back to Auto Body World. Great customer service; fast, friendly, and honest. Out of 5 estimates they gave me the most reasonable one. My car looked good as new and they did a fabulous job on the repair.

As many people have experienced, a car accident or any damage of new car makes family so stressed out in this winter season. James always cares about the hardship and makes one like a brand new car with the expert skills. All staff and technicians are well-trained and trustworthy. Highly recommend!!!

Friendly customer service, however the quality I received wasn't good. Got my car repainted but it wasn't properly polished. Swirl marks and holograms over the whole car. Took it in again to get it fixed and it's only marginally better. Don't go here if you want your paint to look close to factory finish

My Miata also looked great after the paint job. Alas, it did not stay great for long, beginning to peel on the third year and looking dismayingly old .Pictures have been posted in Angie's list Reviews.When I took it back to James, the owner, he said he would redo it for $600.I thought it was steep, but agreed. Curiously, it turned out to be mission impossible, as James, John and later Danny expertly avoided the issue for 2 years: either the owner would be unreachable at an undisclosed location, or, when I finally caught up with him, he claimed to no longer be the owner--now the owner was John, and James could not make decisions without John.When I tried to set up a meeting with both, one Danny came on the scene, telling me that John had not worked there for the last 7 years.In short, the classic runaround.A slew of emails between myself and Danny was just as unproductive , with me offering a $1000 copay and Danny flatly refusing to correct a shoddy job for less than full price, saying he does not work for free (?)And has no ethical responsibility for a shoddy job..Yet, my freshly painted Miata photo is still proudly on display on their board, a misleading move that leads prospective customers to think it will look like that for more than two years.

We have been to Auto Body World twice in the last two years to have bodywork done on our vehicle. Good experiences each time. Danny at the front is knowledgeble and an effective communicator, also, he is flexible and easy to work with. The second time we were in, they found additional repairs that needed to be undertaken, once they removed the damanged exterior. They contacted the insurance company of the insured independently, had them come out, and ok and fund the additional repairs within the time originally scheduled for repair.Hopefully there is no need to return (fingers crossed), but, if need be-we would definitely give our business to this business.
