I had my unit for 3 weeks. When I first moved into my unit it was full of cobwebs, I asked Omar at the front desk if they could clean up the unit for me and they took care of it.. I then came back a couple weeks later to drop off some more and opened my door and a mouse went scurrying out past me. I saw a few dead mice outside of the buildings too, and black rodent boxes everywhere. Clearly there is a problem. My unit also smelled like mold / mildew.. It was very damp in my unit. Not exactly climate controlled. The ceiling / corner of my unit was all open and exposed to the rafters of the building, which I'm positive that is how the mice got into my unit. I removed all my things from my locker and went down to the office and canceled my rental. I was told I would get a call from Management. Never did.

It was very easy to reserve a unit and have it shown to us before we signed any documents. My only complaint is there is no light inside the storage unit itself. However, it is cheaper than what Public Storage is asking for now with the same size unit.

Great storage space with really amazing staff. I am storing my things there for about a year and they are incredibly helpful, nice, professional.I accidentally left my keys there, and was in a major panic, and they had them there as soon as I got back. I just can't say enough nice things about them.

went to mini u storage today and had a grey experience with Omar, very welcoming and gave us the option to look at unit and get a bigger one if needed, offered us discounts and after a stressful move out period he made us feel a lot more relaxed, the unit was easy to access and had all supplies and everything needed, definitely recommend mini u storage.

Best Prices in the area, nice and clean storage unit. Greg is a man to deal with calm, professional and with a smile. He was very helpful and showed me different units until I was satisfied with the a unit. Make a note of it 10930 Clara Barton MINI U STORAGE is the right choice for the storage unit.I moved to Lorton, so I got Storge unit near Lorton that was my biggest mistake. They increase my rent after 3/4 months and at the same time they advertise lower rent on the web site. After dealing with unprofessional people and management I decided to move back to MINI Storage, Matt and rest of the staff members are wonderful. They explained me all the necessary details about my rental agreement. Explained me about the discounts available let me choose the unit. Definitely Mini Storage on Clara Barton is no brainer storage to use.

My personal experience with Mini U Storage? I am a new customer and not familiar with padlocking my storage space door. After using it for the first time at noon, I immediately received an email telling me that the door had been improperly closed. That detail made a VERY good impression on me about the care of my goods. Thank you!

This facility has to be the best in the area - convenient location for all of Fairfax county, always clean and in good repair, long hours including Sunday, and best of all is the staff that is always friendly and efficient. The small shop in the office has all the supplies needed for a move in case you need more boxes, a lock, tape, etc. They even have a van available for customer use.

I consider customer service for a storage unit rental to he above average. The staff here were friendly. The free truck rental for moving in was a nice perk. I wasn't giving trouble for using my own home insurance as coverage either. Many of these companies seem to want to insist in using their insurance. The outdoor storage unit I was provided was clean and easily accessible. Yes, I would recommend this place.

Amazing customer service! In from out of town and decided I needed a small unit last minute; booked online at midnight, called in the morning and talked to Janet, showed up two hours later, and now don t have to worry about my stuff! Super easy transaction and clean property.

The staff at Mini U storage of Fairfax are nothing short of amazing. They all go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taking care of. Renting a storage unit can be a long an frustrating process, as there are so many options and the paperwork can be confusing, but at Mini U storage the process is seamless, and most of the time there are two people there to assist, and make things go faster. They really are a one stop shop, as they offer the free truck rental upon move in, as well as boxes, tape, locks, and many other moving necessities. If you are looking for a storage facility look no further Mini U storage is the place to be. I started renting here a year ago, and recently recommended them to my sister and all dealings with them have been great. Matt and Jacob got us in and out and were thorough and efficient; and Henry along with the other manager, offered us bottled water as it was extremely hot, when we went to return the truck. Hands down, the facility is in a good location, very clean and well kept, and has excellent customer service from beginning to end. They almost always have promotions going on, and also offer a $25 referral program. Upon helping my sister move her things in Henry was amazing. As he continued to check on us and make sure we were okay. If there was something that he thought we could use he would offer it, making our lives so much easier as we were two young women moving in all these items by our self. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were taking care of. I will highly recommend them to anyone in need of a storage unit.Thanks Guys at Mini U Storage of Fairfax

I rented a storage unit (5 wide, 10 long, 11 feet tall) and it was free for the first month then after that it was a little over 40 bucks monthly which I thought was a great deal! No contract! It also came with a free moving truck for 24-hr rental, only had to pay $19 for a liability fee and refill gas. With the truck you also get a free lock for the storage unit. Only thing I wish was different was that the rooms are outside so I wasn't able to store my electronics/appliances there because the extreme cold or hot temperatures can damage these items. It would've been better if the storage was inside a building with air-conditioning/heater and ventilation. Also, the room is very spacious but it doesn't come with any lighting so when I go there at night, it's completely dark and I need to use a flashlight. Other than those 2 things, I was extremely satisfied with Mini U Storage. Their customer service was excellent and the prices are unbeatable! Highly recommend you check them out!

My friend recommended this facility as she'd stored all her things here for a year, never checked on them and they were just as she'd left them upon her return. I went in last week to reserve a unit and was thoroughly impressed with the customer service I received. He was knowledgable, pleasant and happy to help me. I was also able to reserve their free moving truck with pretty open availability for use. Very pleased with my experience!

I'm a first time storage user and both Mr. Justin and Mr. Matt were incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional. They walked me through the whole setup, showed me the locker, and provided access tips and everything for the facility...they even put my lock on for me. They directed me to corporate HQ for a few extra details I was curious about and I had definitive answers from live humans on the phone within 6 minutes (no annoying 'robots', digital menus, or endless 'please hold' muzak! Hooray!). Thank you, guys!

Personalized service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I had a wonderful experience reserving my unit and working with management to find the right space for my parents' belongings. Recently, I had a need for a storage facility. After checking out several places, I decided to go with Mini U Storage in Clara Barton Drive, Fairfax Station, VA. I can't speak highly enough about my experience (, which, by the way, is ongoing!). It was the ideal combination of expertise, experience, professionalism, and cordiality. The two men serving me complemented each other perfectly and worked together like a well-oiled machine. It was a hot day and, when I was about to leave, I was even offered a bottle of cold water! Mini U Storage offers clean, dry storage at a very competitive price. Could you ask for anything more?! Most highly recommended!
