When it comes to storage it feels good to know that the items that I care about are being well cared for.We presently have items at a non-climate-controlled facility, and I was worried that our possessions were getting affected by Virginia s weather swings in all four seasons. That s why I chose to switch from our present Public Storage to CubeSmart. I searched for top-rated climate controlled storage spaces in the Fairfax area, and this location offered what I was looking for.After I reserved a spot online I came in to check out the space. Mary did an excellent job of showing me around. And Aiden did an awesome job of signing me up and answering questions that I didn t even know I had.It feels great to be using a top-notch facility that looks clean, is well-maintained, and is staffed with kind professionals.

Employee on duty was a pleasure to work with. Mgmt on the other hand I think could use some refinement. But all in all with the great service, convenient, fair priced, and clean I rate 4.5 stars.

Reserved unit online on a Sunday1) The unit wasn t ready and still had a lock on it. Called the 1-800 number who informed me that the location had that unit marked as ready for move in. They said the regional manager would call me, 3 months later still no call.2) came back on Monday and the same thing yet again. The store wasn t open but their HQ people on the 1-800 number didn t know that. So I lost around 3-4 hours, this time with paid labor while I waited on anyone to show up with a key. Finally 4 hours later a manger of a completely different store showed up with a key.3) When I went to turn in my unit, their were no employees on site at 10:30 (their hours are 10am-5pm) but they had a sign that they would return at 11am. I returned at 12:05 to see they had changed the be back time to 12pm but the store was still locked. I had to once again call the 1-800 number to cancel my unit.I gave them 1 star as zero wasn t an option.

The facility is spotless, safe, snd conveniently located right off the Fairfax County Parkway in Fairfax Station. The staff is so helpful and professional. We had a wonderful experience with Cube Smart. I highly recommend them!

Excellent customer service, I went into the building and was greeted by a young man named Aiden, he showed me around and answered a couple of my questions since it was my first time at this location. I would go back!

It is really well maintained. There is constant security. The folks who work there are super helpful, they even called one time when we left something out - they were able to figure out it was ours based on the time we had checked in and where our space was. It is close by, easy to get in and out of .a lot of things you don t really think about but tend to notice when they are not there - this place really does a nice job of delivering what they are selling.

Rented a parking spot there for a travel trailer for 3 years. In that time almost doubled my fees per month. I felt like I was being treated like a slot machine. I would get a random mail card stating fees are increasing. I moved as I did not feel fairly treated in cost and consumer trust. I value competitive prices like all other consumers and had a choice to continue their services. I declined. I only had minor issues with access due to crowding. No issues with damage or theft.

EVERYTHING! As a business owner who has been renting 9 units over the course of nearly a year, I can say that this Cube Smart is exceptional! The staff was always courteous, helpful and simply amazing! The property was well kept and tended to at all times. Even the clientele was wonderful to operate a business around on a daily basis. I will continue to recommend this location to my home staging clients and other business owners who need short or long term storage!

Raised the price almost 50% over 18 months. If you have ANY other option, don t use CubeSmart.Only plus is the people were polite and responsive. Just a racket of a business model.

Very simple and straight forward process. Every other storage experience I've had in the past with other companies did not operate like this. I wish I was aware of this sooner so I could've made the switch. The manager Dawn was helpful, friendly and professional. Overall a great experience and a well run location.

The location and units themselves are excellent,. They offer a broad range of unit sizes and most have climate control. The security seems to be excellent and the rental prices are reasonable. However, one reason we chose this CubeSmart location was the warm and thorough service we received from Ryan Bowden when we first visited and toured the facility. Unfortunately, he was not working when we returned to rent a unit and the woman who helped us was not especially easy to engage with. (Believe me, I tried.) A smile from her would have been nice.

I have rented a space here before and had a positive experience. Came back several years later and it's even better! Matt was very helpful and eager to match my situation with the right size unit, without overselling me. The place is immaculate for a public location. Safe area, great security.

Fantastic service. Always felt secure in the space , as well as my personal belongings being safe. Office team is friendly and very thorough. They will work towards solutions. You can t beat the prices and the location!

Just make sure to:1. Bring your own approved lock when you go into complete your agreement so you avoid purchasing their overpriced lock. There is a way to waive the lock fee when you purchase their lock, however, it involves not opening the packaging for the lock upon it's return. Something maybe Houdini could figure out. LOL2. Also, you have to buy their insurance, not optional.3. If you go over just 1 day into the next month , you still have to pay for the whole month.3. When it rains, it gets into the door entrances to the building.4. The interior walls do not go all the way up. So I recommend you do not stack to the ceiling or a box could fall over to the other side which happened to the neighboring unit. Luckily I had a ladder to put it back on their side.I am giving it 5 stars because the General Manager responded to my email inquiries so promptly, the building is clean and the location is really accessible.

Very clean units (outside drive up, 30x10) with great ease of access. Exceptional prices and deals that are too good to be true... except they're true. we needed shorttime storage- 1 month only- they had a promotion... free first month rent with no minimum month requirement. So we paid a $20 admin fee to use a 30x10 storage unit.

I just rented a storage unit and parking space for my business. The grounds are clean and well cared for. The on site manager Dawn is an absolute treat, she is very professional and super friendly made me feel very welcome.

We didn t stay here long, but it s a very nice place in a nice tucked away location. The staff is very helpful as well, and they made the move in and move out process very easy. Very much a plus with everything going on these days. Highly recommend.

During my search for a "Best Value" rental storage facility in Fairfax, VA., while I found quite a few (You know, primarily those name brand places) that would accommodate my basic needs for square footage, climate control, and convenient location, I found them them either to have either 1) extremely bad reviews 2) priced higher than I preferred overall 3) facility not well maintained or 4) simply too far out.That was until I found CubeSmart self storage on 6120 Little Ox Rd. in Fairfax Station, VA. Having initially spoken with Stephanie over the phone, I was quite impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and "gentle willingness" (No hard sell buy now or you'll lose it all rush stuff here) to answer my questions and point out my options. Two in which I particularly loved was that I could reserve my space for up to 8 days before deciding, plus use their truck FREE (you read correctly, FREE!) to move in with a nominal REFUNDABLE deposit. Stephanie will give you the small print stuff, all of which I found to be more than reasonable.And during my visitation, I again was impressed by how clean the facility was, the security measures they have in place, their location (Although a teeny bit further than I would have preferred. approximately 9 miles) all of the accommodations - and especially the price of my 8' x 10' space (not only 10' x 10" like most other locations which significantly cost more), more than made of for that slight inconvenience.Moreover, I had the opportunity to also meet with and engage in wonderful side-bar conversations with the live-on-premises general manager and Jasmine during my move in.So if you're looking for a great value, a great facility, a great staff and great customer service, STOP LOOKING! Because you'll find it all here!Thanks CubeSmart, for being smart about how to do good business.

I've had nothing but good experiences at this CubeSmart! You might think you're in the work area as you drive towards it, but don't worry you're not.The price is definitely higher than other self storages, but it's a 21st century self-storage unit. For me, I want intuitive online with good UI and easy, responsive tech for gate access.Dawn, the manager, and the staff has always been attentive, presentable, and knowledgable every time I've gone in. The place is very clean, easily navigable if you have a truck or trailer, loading and unloading is easy for the building, and appears to be secure.My only gripe has ever been with the garbage. I like to periodically go into my unit and throw out old things, but I'm unable to do so with this location's current garbage rules. The rule: Only for small deposits of cardboard. The garbage is also locked, so you can't use it what so ever without the staff, which is always blocked because only allow small cardboard boxes.

We were renting a 10'X10' cube and got rid of and moved a lot of stuff, and wanted to move to a smaller cube. Colleen Collier was very helpful and accommodating, and promptly found us a 5'X5' cube not far from our 10X10. CubeSmart is always clean and comfortable, and there are usually up to four 4-wheeled carts to help with your moving needs. I can recommend CubeSmart to anyone needing storage space.

Safe, easy & convenient location, super friendly staff, clean hallways, plenty of carts since I have visited. Great that they sell the high-end locks and recv a discount on insurance. Def recommend.

Nice facility and great customer service. Dawn described all of the procedures, App access to the facility etc. in a clear and cheerful manner. I highly recommend CubeSmart.
