This place is a dump and very poorly managed. We have a large water stain on the ceiling and the wall in the bedroom and another large water stain on the ceiling in our room entrance. The back of the door was abused by someone and never fixed as you can see in the photos. The grass in front and around the hotel was filled with weeds. I agree the tall guy with the hair braids in his face was very rude at the front desk. I wasn t quite sure if he was rude or just shy. If he is shy and can t smile he shouldn t have been hired. When I checked in and asked for a couple bottles of water he said he didn t receive his complimentary waters inventory. Really, they ran out of bottled water? The whirlpool which I wanted to use was closed for maintenance. This hotel needs a thorough renovation with new management and better employees. In the interim I wouldn t stay here again.I forgot to mention our king bed had a large depression in it as if the mattress was damaged or worn out. When you are a hotel, you have to get the beds right.

Desk staff rude,Chose Marriott solely on reputation and as we were traveling from Florida to Maine wanted the Spa. Peeked and it was taped off.Elevator dirty banged up, whole hotel trashed broken light shades. Should have left then. A lot of sketchy happenings wished I d seen reviews! Room not up to par, toilet didn t flush properly, bed rock hard, we did not feel safe! First time checking for bed bugs! Very sad Husband reinforced door with ironing board. Noisy all night! Very very disappointed, especially after websight stated Newer Hotel should have turned away but was afraid my CC would be charged regardless or scammed

Basically the drawback to this place is it is older and tired and doesn't have great amenities. The TV doesn't work properly with the remotes, the hot tub is out of order, there was no bottled water available as a Marriott bonvoy member and was told I could buy it from the marketplace. The location is good if you're driving from New York to Florida and is pretty much halfway to Jacksonville and the staff is fairly accommodating oh also the ice machine on my floor was down so I either had to go to the third floor or get it from the front desk and I was on the first floor.

Was not able to take advantage of the free breakfast as we left earlier than their 6:30 service time. Knowing that we had a 10 hour drive ahead, they didn't even offer coffee or fruits for the road.We were also woken by neighbors who were smoking weed close to us. We informed the front desk but nothing was done about it.

Wow. What a surprise. It was the worst hotel that we ever went to. Checked in and checked right back out and got a refund. The room clearly had double beds, not queen beds. The bathroom was disgusting. The front desk help wasn't obviously used to actually working as he didn't seem to know what he was doing. Certainly felt like we were being lied to about the bed situation. I suggest going down the road a bid and finding a real Mariott because this was not what we were used to.

Management is completely unorganized and unprofessional and rude. Some (if not all) are high on who knows what. The guy from front deck comes knocking at 1130 at night and asks if the room was good because it says dirty and vacant on system. Then knocks a second time saying we might need to switch rooms and to hold tight . 20 minutes go by and still have not heard anything so we call front desk and they act like everything was resolved but obviously failed to inform us that. Also the shower head was broke so we were unable to shower. Worst place ever

As other reviews mention, it has overpowering smells in rooms. Facility is not clean and amenities were out of service, e.g. hot pool. And after all Staff don't seem to care about your grievances. This facility has old days shower system though they have a sample of faucet at reception to explain how it works but we ended up not able to switch it on and move on without taking shower as front desk didn't show any desire to help !Breakfast options were at par per other fairfield standards.Location is great just on I 95 but there are other marriot properties in 30 minutes drive.

The rooms are outdated and need to be cleaned thoroughly. Walking in the first thing you notice is the massive stains on the carpet. The girls behind the desk were friendly but seemed to be novice.Noteworthy details: Kids screaming all night long. I think marriot may want to do some revamping in order to maintain their reputation, blankets were junk.

Very disappointing:There wasn't any lotions, hand soap, or shampoo in the room. I asked the front desk for the supplies but they never brought it to the room. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall as soon as I tried to use it.Half of the channels on the television didn't come in. I asked the front desk about that. I was told they would check with the cable company but that never happened. We are silver elite members of Marriott. After staying at this hotel we questioned as to whether we should become Hilton members.

Absolutely disgusting! The carpet smelled like urine, and the room had a lot of humidity! The person at the help desk was nowhere to be found for about 20min! We had a reservation for a double bed at $125 a night. When we checked in, they only had a ling Room for $199 a night. The sheets had stains on them and the breakfast was over by 9am. There was 5 of us in a tiny little room! Thank goodness i had a blow up mattress in the car.

The location is perfect! My mom and I checked into room 326. The photos speaks for itself. I contacted guest services. Initially he wasn t going to come look at the room. Once he did he says I apologize took pictures and left. The next morning the front desk stated the manager will be in touch. It s now 48 hours later and I have not been contacted!1. Rust in tub looks like blood!2. Toilet handle broken we had to manually flush it!3. Nasty stains on the chair and blonde hair! Neither of us are blonde4. No signal on tv!! No channels worked!5. Bugs the next morning in the bathroom! We killed them see picture attached6. Lighting fixture not covered.7. The breakfast lady was very nice!I have stayed here for many years but after the no call from management this was my last time!Rooms: House keeper was banging on the door before 9am and once I answered she speak no English!!

Housekeeping was non-existent in this hotel. One of our rooms was not ready to check in until 5 pm. The front desk clerk had to basically beg housekeeping to clean the room for us.We stayed for 2 nights, but our room was never cleaned. It was musty and not aired out ever. I never noticed a housekeeping cart (ANYWHERE) so that should have been a red flag. The two gentlemen who worked the front were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Everything could have been better. This hotel is not the cleanest. Outside has garbage over flowing (I wish I could post pictures it was really unbelievable).Staff is very unhelpful and never around. You can stand at front desk for up to 20 minutes before anyone comes from the back. I know the can see with cameras.I hate interacting with people who are miserable and unhelpful. This will be the last time. Keep in mind I am an Elite member with Marriott (they don't care). Which just means I use the hotel chain a lotI will acknowledge this is not my regular experience with Marriott. But with that said I have complained before about this hotel and Marriott does not care to fix it.

It was one of the worst nights I have had in my 22 years of Marriott stays. The room reaked of smoke. Had to cover my head with the only 2 towels provided. Woke up with burnings eyes. Left room as soon as I could in the AM. While walking to the elevator, I looked at the hallway lights. Everyone was torn / ripped .To have on the website as recently renovated, that is so not true.Marriott, you should have your company remove your logo from this hotel.

My co worker and I shared a room #206 mind you this was our second room due to a room on the first floor with a very strong mold odor and presence. The maid service was horrible. We asked for service and they made our bed "we could have each made our own beds" instead of changing the sheets. Into the second week there I awoke with a cluster of bites on my left side of my leg. This immediately alarmed me once discovering them. I let the front desk know and they brushed it off like it wasn't the hotel. The ice machine out of service. Needed to do laundry couldn't do that Out of Service. Last but not least getting into the slowest elevator in the universe that was filthy had fries, candy wrappers and spit out sunflower seeds on the floor not to mention fingerprints everywhere. I let them know there must have been barn animals in the elevator they said no we had children running down the halls and in the elevator until 5am. Who allows this no parental control or leadership with the hotel..Disgusted disappointed and ashamed they call this a Marriott Also the light shades down the call are all busted out. The only good thing about it was a young woman at the front desk at 6:30 am

Room was clean and comfy, sheets looked alittle discolored and worn. TV did not work. The hottub was out of order, but the pool was nice and warm for the kids. Biggest disappointment was no breakfast or coffee when we left at 7:15. Apparently staff overslept.

I cannot even believe that Marriott has allowed their name to be associated with this property. The 1st room they tried to put me in had a horrible smell of mold, at first I thought it was the AC unit but nope it was the room. They were able to give us a new room that didn't smell BUT the carpets were awful, their was a poorly patched up hole in the bathroom wall, ceiling mold in the bathroom, towels were grimey and dingey, in the 2 weeks we were there we asked for our room to be serviced twice, the 1st time they didn't leave any towels and only did one bed, the second time they didn't change the sheets, simply made the bed, and to top it off the other party started getting odd bites which are now confirmed as bed bug bites! She mentioned it to the Front Desk and they were not really concerned about it. I have to say this had to be the second worst hotel stays in my life. The only saving grace was the night Front Desk staff they were great.
