Traveling from Florida today and ran into an issue with our tire. Thank God we notice the change in how the car started driving and was able to pull over literally 3 min from the dealership. They was able to take care of us with no problem and help us get back on the road safely! Thank you so much to the service team!

Beware if you purchase a used vehicle!I've given two stars only because it was a very simple deal, fast and professional. I guess maybe too fast because before we pourchased the vehicle, I didn't really take the time the look over the vehicle for dents and scratches. We did purchase a used 2021 Arcadia Denali that was in immaculateshape. I did spot out a couple chips and was immediately told to bring the vehicle back ( we live an hour away) and they would take care of it. After getting home a day later I spot a small dent in the door panel. My husband calls the salesman to tell him and he was told it would be taken care of the day the chips were touched up. When we get here today the three chips was nicely repaired. However, we were charged $100.00 for the dent to be repaired which took all of ten minutes. This vehicle I'm mentioning here cost us $40, 000.00 and the dealership wouldn't absorb that $100.00 repair. I would have highly recommended Charles Boyd Chevrolet to our many friends and relatives, not now!

Nick, Paul, Kelly and all of the 'behind the scenes people' at the dealership made our buying experience flow smoothly.I was a little hesitant to drive so far (1.5 hours) to check out the vehicle, but it was everything Nick said it was.We closed the deal and were on our way home in no time. We would definitely do business with these folks again!

Went to Priority Chevrolet in Chesapeake to have my vehicle serviced, they told me it would be (15) days before they could even look at it for diagnostic. I then brought it to Boyd, Anthony was able to get me in the same day with diagnosis and repaired within (24) hours. Thanks again Anthony.

I went to white motors about the A8 transmission shudder that everyone knows about. My car is under power train warranty and wires refused to warranty it. They told me that flushing the trans was covered under warranty but replacing the fluid is considered routine maintenance and I had to pay for the fluid because it costs more. I called Boyd and spoke to Mrs kathy as I knew whites was lying. She got me on the service schedule the same day and warrantied the transmission service with no problem and no hassle whatsoever. They have earned my future business

traded in my 15 Audi Q5 for a 16 GMC yukon last year. Few days after purchase, I had transmission issues. Called in & service was supposed to return call, they didn't for days. Returned the call, got an appointment, they called to cancel day before. Day of appointment I asked should I have a ride pick me up because I had a 2 year old. they said no, wouldn't take long. I was literally there from 8 AM until 3 PM, just for them to tell me they did a transmission flush & my transmission would fix itself in 500 miles. Came back in within a few months, figured I'd give it a chance. The technician said he test drove it 20+ miles & it never even shuddered. As I pulled out of Boyd, I felt the shudder. Still had the same exact issues but didn't think I should take it back due to them already telling me they didn't find anything. Now, here I am - 1 year into purchasing vehicle with a messed up transmission AND rear end. It's an absolute disgrace. I usually praise Boyd for upholding high standards but this is unbelievable. Called in today just to tell them what had happened & it was basically "Sorry for your luck, those Transmissions are junk, sometimes the flush fixes them, sometimes it doesn't. however you haven't called so there's nothing we can do." they sold me this vehicle KNOWING the issues but didn't want to fix it.

Back in June, I drove halfway across the country and ended up not driving away in a new Krypton Green 2017 Camaro 2SS(there were issues with the car that GM would not fix under warranty). However, Tim and the rest of the staff were great. Treated me like family. I'd gladly drive halfway across the country again to come here.

I talked with Wade about a vehicle that I was interested in. I live 2.5 hours away, and I wanted specific pictures and details about the SUV, so that I would not waste the time to make the drive if it wasn't acceptable to me. Wade was very friendly, sent multiple pictures from different views, answered all questions, and was by far the most polite car salesman I have ever encountered. We arrived about 30 mins late due to traffic, but Wade was ready for us. We took the SUV on a test drive, asked questions, and came back to talk numbers. No time was wasted in the offer for my trade, which was quite surprisingly a very fair value. We told them what the numbers needed to be to make the sale, and within minutes, we were in the finance department signing paperwork. There was no time wasted in back and forth shenanigans, hard ball, or any of the other things I've dealt with before.This was BY FAR the best car buying experience that I've ever had, and will definitely recommend Wade at Boyd of Emporia.

I cannot say enough about our buying experience. Paul was simply amazing and so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We live in Newport News and found the vehicle we were interested in online while on vacation. They called us back right away. As soon as we left the airport we headed to Boyd Chevrolet. We called and let them know we were on the way. The vehicle was pulled up to the door and ready for us to take for a test drive. They made the purchasing process absolutely painless. Thank you. The little things that they did made us feel so special. We will be recommending our friends who are interested in a Chevy, Buick GMC to make the drive to Emporia. They will not be disappointed. When I tell you I'm so over this place. So I than dropped my vehicle off Friday May 20, 2022 at 7:30 a.m. its now Tuesday May 24, 2022 and my vehicle still the same way I dropped it off. Not one screw been touched and all I want is my vehicle fix! Is that too much to ask? They over price when it comes to parts and labor, which my own Warranty people don't want to deal with them after this. The company I have my Warranty through called me personally and told me if I continue to use their service. That I would be responsible for all cost when it comes to my vehicle. However, if I move my service elsewhere then they will cover the cost in full. Meaning a $0 out of pocket cost because the cost I'm looking to pay now! I never paid at any other dealership, which I understand where my Warranty people coming from. They rude, don't appreciate their customers and they adding additional charges you don't know anything about! Unless you asking questions and getting them to break it down and you catch them in their mistake.

Saved the day for us! This is the service, sympathy and expertise you hope to find in a dealership. On a trip from NY to Savannah we pulled into Boyd's with ABS and Traction control lights which came on navigating an on-ramp in Norfolk and refused to reset. As we stopped to fuel up right in front of their shop, I asked for sympathy for travelers to see if they'd scan me to see what was happening - was I safe to drive or not? Kathy found a slot for me, and Dennis the Tech discovered I had a bad wheel bearing on the left front. He showed me the loose wheel. The parts dept. had the part, they took us in and we were on the road the same afternoon. Great job, Thank You!!

We were driving from Maryland to Florida when the engine light came on. Kathy in the service center took great care of us. They gave us a ride back to our hotel, and picked us up when the repairs were completed. Everyone was so friendly.

We bought a 2017 GMC Acadia from Boyds about a month ago. When we were looking at it there was a mark on the back quarter panel and I asked if they would fix it and Rick said they would buff it out.A couple of days after buying it I noticed it had a pull to the right and the infotainment system was messing up. I called and they said bring it in and they will check it out. They did an alignment and said the infotainment needed to be replaced, I had purchased a warranty and that would be covered, we had a 100.00 deductable. They ended up having to sand and paint the mark on the back so with that, they had done an alignment, sanded and painted the back quarter panel and replaced the infotainment system while giving me a loaner while mine was in the shop. I come to pick it up thinking I have 100.00 deductible and probably a diagnostic fee and maybe an alignment to pay for, to my surprise when I went to pick up he says there is no charge. Since we had just purchased the car he said they were covering everything including the deductible. Everyone there is so friendly and I am so pleased with how they handled everything. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

We have meet katy from client service, we had a noise in the front of the v�hicule. She give us no guaranty when our car will be fixed. After an hour, they found the problem. I can tell you we receive a VIP treatment, I recommand this garage. Thank you again Katy and your team.

Had car problems while traveling. Stopped here around 2:30 p.m. to get them to take a look at my Toyota. They took me in without an appointment and had me back on the road in 2 hours, even though it was obvious that they were incredibly busy. Would highly recommend their service department. So grateful for their prompt attention and courteous staff!

We were driving down I95 on our way to NC and an object in the road hit the underside of the car and left a rattling noise. We pulled off in Emporia to find that the panel was knocked off and dragging. We called around and only Boyd's agreed to put the car on a rack and check it out as busy and shorthanded as they were that day. They were able to pin the panel back in place and we were on our way about an hour later. The staff was friendly, let us bring our two dogs inside on that hot day, and even gave them water and treats. I wish there were more places that offered this kind of service.

The customer service is exceptional. We had car trouble while on a road trip; they had us diagnosed, fixed, and back on the road in a matter of only a couple of hours. The tech and customer service team were very knowledgeable. We cannot say enough nice things about this service department.

Wow here we go. Had a maintenance appointment today at 2. Arrives on time gentleman tells me I'm not in the system. Hey kept searching but then pretty boy had to put his two minutes in it. Stating he think he talked to me for the appointment and tried to come up with some balm excuse. If you made a mistake just omit it. Don't try to put the balm on me. Why would I take off from work to sent money. I really want to thanks to the older gentleman to solved the problem. As for Mr Pretty boy keep looking down on people with your arms folded. I highly recommend Boyd in Henderson North Carolina where everyone is treated with respect. Services there is great.

I have used Boyd for maintenance and repairs on my cars since moving to this area in 2011. I have had confidence in the service department and always felt all service was done well. However, this most recent repair was not a good experience. I didn't feel listened to and when I questioned the service manager, I feel I was again, not being heard. The experience was stressful. I have lost confidence in the service department.

will not cover warranty. the truck had a leveling kit on the front end a arm broke and they would not cover it and it was still under warranty the leveling kit was on it when it was bought and paid for a warranty but they would not cover it for the air arms being broke. BAD SERVICE!!

I had my car repaired here a few months after repair I realized the check engine light never went off. After carefully examining my car I could see parts that were removed during repair were not put back on correctly or screwed back into place.

This was by far the best, fastest and easiest car purchase I ve made. My daughter and I are truly appreciative and thankful of the service we received from Boyd Chevrolet,Emporia salesperson Anthony Coleman. We were on a trip when our truck messed up on interstate 95! Scary to say the least to have your family broke down on the side of the busiest interstate. We creeped our way to Boyd Chevrolet where within a matter of minutes they knew what was wrong, had it fixed, and even found out the part was under warranty. We were back on our road trip in an hour!!! These people are angels!!! The place was clean, the staff was the friendliest I ve ever dealt with, and they were fast!! I will go back to them in a heartbeat!!

Brown and Wood in Greenville really put me in a tough situation when I purchased a 2016 Tahoe I was not happy with. I only had the car a couple of weeks and they were going to charge me a ridiculous amount to trade in. I came to Boyd Chevrolet in Emporia and they gave me a great trade in price on the Tahoe and a GREAT price on my new Acadia. I was so impressed with this place! My husband and I WILL be lifetime customers!
