I can not say enough about this location and its staff. My family and I were traveling and still had 8 hours to home when the alternator went in the middle of the night. I waited till morning to call numerous auto part stores and couldn't get the alternator until 8 at night. I found one that said 3pm but it would have been a long UBER ride to get it in another state. Last resort I tried Advance Auto which on internet said it was close by. The female that answered the phone was so polite and was willing to try anything to get me the part and help us. She said she could get the part for 11:30am. She even called and met us with a jumpbox so we could get the vehicle started to follow her to the store. This was my choice to drive it since I had another battery along as a spare. Once at the store all staff were very friendly and asking if we needed any help. While my son and I put the new alternator in, the staff offered to charge and test the batteries we had. Once we finished the repair they made sure we were ok to drive home and offered to let us use bathroom to clean up. Great People Great Store.

I was driving from the Pocono Mountains of PA to Oak sland, NC on South 95. Break Fluid Light goes on and I have little or no breaks left on my 2015 Tacoma. It's Saturday afternoon most shops closed. The crew at this location is sterling. Thank you to Laura, Sonja and especially Josh - very good guy. Josh contacted a repair service for me who literally made the repairs in the parking lot because I could not drive my truck. Pofessional team who acted above and beyond the call of duty for a stranded traveler and his 2 dogs! This crew is awesome.

Wednesday night, December 14 8:00 pm. I was 200 miles into a long 700 mile trip home. Warning lights were flashing at me from my dash that I had never saw before. My oldest daughter directed me off the interstate and into this parking lot. Afraid to turn my car off I stepped into the store and asked if anyone could check my battery. Quickly the technician determined the battery was not the issue as he had me turn off my car and immediately restart it. He saw the flashing dash lights and quickly said let me check the codes. He plugged a meter into my car s system and lifted a huge burden as he told me it was a brake switch and I should be safe to continue my journey. This happened in the last hour of this man s shift. But it didn t matter to him or his young sidekick. They cared. They could see my concern. They helped and brought comfort to a man in need, desperately trying to return home after 11 days away from his family. I regret not asking your names but God knows you and I thank you again for helping me get home.Michael

My sister s truck broke down in Emporia and I came to give her a jump but it only got her to the store and when I tell you they went above and beyond to help my sister it s truly an understatement.I will be calling the store manager to get the young man who helped her lunch

Being as though I am not a mechanic, and barely know anything of car maintenance, when I visit advanced auto parts I am getting all the help that I need plus more. I am also learning a lot as wellI love the cystomer service. It feels great going into an establishment and feeling welcomed, you don't get that everywhere you go. So when I do get that feeling I make sure I acknowledge it

Typical auto parts store.. Nice staff. I went to Advance after NAPA refused to honor the lifetime warranty on an alternator I purchased from them 2 years ago. The bad alternator killed my battery. Instead of a free replacement, I payed $310 for an alternator and battery.

Yesterday, Nov 13, I drove to Emporia from Virginia Beach to meet a friend driving from Florida. I arrived early so I stopped for a burger. Dang my luck, when i turned the key to go to our agreed upon meeting place. My battery was dead. Not knowing anyone I called the nearest Advance Auto. Yip they would install the correct battery for my Suburban. A good samaritan gave me a jump start. I went directly to Advance Auto. They immediately checked my 5yr old battery and it was shot. They gave me 4 battery choices. I picked one and they immediately pulled the old battery and installed a new one. You could not have asked for more! And yip, I meet my friend from Florida on time.Thank You Advance Auto !Jim Cannon

As auto parts stores go, Advanced Auto Parts is pretty good. They checked the charge on my battery at no cost, sold me the appropriate battery and installed it on the spot.

As long as you know your parts and part number you'll be fine. If you want good service ask for Thomas at this location. If you want the right part. He knows what you need without the hassle. Anyone else and you'll be coming back.

The ladies where just absolutely amazing. Loaned us the tools to fix our car. Even drove few towns over to get the part we needed from another one of their stores. The ladies here are angels.

I went back in to return a tool that was in its original packaging, never used it...was told by the young lady that they cant return tools, I showed her the package and told her that it was never opened and she basically stood in my face and called me a liar, she said that it had been opened, I never even took the package out of my car, I understand if you dont return certain merchandise but dont stand there and call your customer a liar....she didn't even look at the package
