Broke down on interstate 81 and was towed to Woodstock Virginia to Cooks Auto, they were closed of course due to the time. Slept in my car until the morning and as busy as they were, they had taken the time to fix my car, A big shout out of appreciation to everyone at Cook's. I recommend them to fix my car again.

Will never bring my vehicle here again. Went for an inspection and was failed due to my motor mount being cracked. Took this back to my regular mechanic and my motor mount was fine and would have passed. Quoted $300 for the part itself to be fixed when it s only a $50 part. These guys always do a great job taking care of my needs quickly and never tack-on unnecessary charges. I would give it a 0 if I could. I'm a woman who dropped my car off to have them replace a head light that was damaged when my car was hit by a deer and to check why different dash lights were on in the dash. Well, when they put the new head light in they didn't plug in the singal light or even put a bulb in it. My dad had to fix that. They didn't even check why the dash lights were on and told me not to worry about it. Come to out I needed a part for the cylinder, a $100 part. The work they did do took several trips, involving leaving my car overnight. It in the end was a waste of my time. It's hard for women to be able to independently take their car to a shop and I'll say this isn't a place I would recommend to another female. I felt like they didn't listen to me and they did a poor job. They also passed my car on inspection when one of the tires was showing thread. Peopele are supposed to be able to trust the people at shops to keep your car safe for the road. So just be careful out there with these mechanics.

My wife had a bad experience in this place. Taking the car for OIL CHANGE and they mess up the screw in the oil pan on a brand new car and never said something. Now we have to do a Major repair in a sensitive area because of that. Talking to a friend I find out another costumer with a bad experience on the same place, so I won't recommend this place to anybody.Service: Oil change

One of the best local shops you can take you vehicle to. Joey is a good guy, and he will get your vehicle working right. I've had 2 of my cars in there, and more to come

Very thankful to have found this place! Just passing through and needed a full synthetic oil change, and tire alignment, balance and rotation. They did it all for about $130! I paid over $200 for just the alignment and rotation not long before. Not only so, but they seem to have done a great job: the alignment is still holding true, long after I would normally need another. If I were in the area I would go to them all the time!

Joey, at Cook's Automotive Repair, has been our mechanic for several years now. From basic oil changes and inspections to more advanced repairs, we have always been satisfied with the quality and speed of his work.
