I personally would not recommend Cunningham Tire to anyone looking to purchase tires! I was sold a full set of Nexen tires in May 2021 and told that they had road hazard total coverage warranty but come to find out they do NOT! I had one tire get a nail in which Cunningham tire stated that I had the road hazard so they could send the tire back and file under road hazard in which I would receive $160 of my $179 that I paid that day back within 3-4 weeks instead of trying to plug it for $20. After 4 weeks I contacted Cunningham for status. They called Nexen in which Nexen stated to them that the particular model of the tire wasn t covered under road hazard and that they would not reimburse anything back towards the tire. Ashley (the manager) at Cunninghams offered to only give me back $50 of the $160 that I should have received back. I was appreciative but didn t agree with the fact that I was due back $160 thinking that I had something that I did not!! I was even given the pamphlets (picture below of what they gave me) on the road hazard when I purchased the full set of tires. I told her that I wanted to speak with the owner Jeff Greer regarding reimbursement as that would be the right thing to do for a customer of nearly 10 years. She told me to call back the following day at 9am to catch him. I did and Ashley stated that he was already heading out but that she did speak with him and he was agreeable with Nexen but that they would give me back only $50. I think that is the lowest of the low in customer care which is why I will never again do any type of business with Cunningham s from here on out nor will I recommend them to anyone as I have done countless times in the past.

I needed tires on my crv and tires for my mower. Shawn Fitzgerald fix me up great price and the best service. I will always go back to him. And all the people that works there all great too. Thanks so much

Got a new set of tires for our vehicle again from Cunningham. Over the years of coming here I have never felt any pressure from them to try to upsell me or pressure me into more work. They have always been genuinely concerned for any issues I may have and always say if there are any problems, come back and see us. Highly recommend Cunningham and we will be back again. Great small business with very reasonable prices.

I took a tire with a slow leak to be repaired. The leak continued, but seemed to be less so I simply put air into the tire every week. After a while I got tired of that and took the tire back to Cunningham. It was last Monday when I took the tire back. Now it's Friday and I had to put air into the tire twice and it needs it again. I took it back to Cunningham and the Lady said they would have to charge me again for fixing it, even though they didn't fix it the last time. I've had enough of Cunningham tire. I told the lady I would take my business elsewhere and wouldn't be back to Cunningham. I would NOT recommend this place.

Took my 2022 ram 1500 four-wheel drive in for a front end alignment left front camera was off camber adjustment to not included in the $65 front end alignment then what is they want another $90 to adjust my front end lift camber talked to several other front end shops in Danville Omni took my truck to another reputable reputable shop and they told me it was nothing wrong with my left front camera and they also said that the toe-in was still off so evidently Cunningham didn't do anything for the front end alignment I paid them the stern-wheel was off-center the other shop lying

I like going to Cunningham's because of the friendly service and the not so bad prices. Sean who works behind the desk is very knowledgeable and friendly of all the services and products Cunningham has to offer and Mandy as well. If they work on your automotive and find a problem they will notify you and make you aware. And just won't leave you hanging in the rain. I recommend going to Cunningham for all your automotive needs.

Ok so I dropped my tire off yesterday!!! They called me today and said my tire was ready to go!!! I get here and my tire is NOT ready to go!!! I've been waiting a hr!!! I could have stayed at home in my bed until they were finished!!! Why did they wake me up out my bed after I've worked a night shift just to come all the way here and wait??? They already had my tire!!! I already paid!!! They could have just called when they were finished so I wouldn't have to come here and wait!!! I'm so upset!!!

We get all our tires and oil changes here. Staff is friendly and they don't try to sell you things you don't need. Best place to get this type of work done at a reasonable price. They always take great care of my vehicle!

Great, fast, friendly service! My husband and I got a flat tire and they were the only place in town that carried the correct tires for our truck. I called Kenny and he told us to get there when we could and he would take care of us. They did fast, efficient work at a very reasonable price. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

They will not tell the truth about anything my tires was to come in two days it was a week .then I went to put them on they said a 3 hour wait. I payed 900 up front. I told them I wanted my money back they said I had to pay 75dollars to get it back.if you want better service go to R&j in ridgeway cheaper better service 150 dollars cheaper

Had a roadside emergency in my travel trailer. Called the shop right before closing and still had to get the tire off the trailer. Kenny said they'd wait if necessary and be ready to help. I got there in time. Super friendly, took them less than 20 minutes to get me in and out. Really saved the day!

Terrible service, they do a bad job, they do not respect the warranty since they put my tires wrong and after 2 months they wore out despite me paying for alignment. I know several people that the same thing happened to them. Don't spend your money on them.

My experience at Cunningham tire was not good bought tires about 6 months ago and I have one tire that has no trend on it showed them my paperwork was told that I was going to get a call back from a Mandy the next day . She did not call me I had to call her then she says that she didn t know that she was suppose to call me back . This business put the tires on, completed an alignment and I gave them copies of my paperwork she proceeds to tell me that I had free balancing and should have came back to get my tires balanced. I told her that if someone told me that do t you think I would have came and done it especially if it was free!!! Then she proceeds to tell me well there is nothing we can do because we don t have records of you getting your wheels balanced . Im sorry but that s not good customer service and retention. I will NEVER purchased tires from this business ever again and I will not refer people to them either !!!

After a terrible experience at Mr.Tire, where I walked out after an hour without any service done. I went to Cunningham and the receptionist was great! Quick, friendly and overall great experience. They were cheaper and provided much better customer service. They will get my business now.

We brought in our 2003 model Jeep Grand Cherokee. They were very courteous and informative. Though Cunningham does not work on transmissions in Danville Virginia they did have a knowledgeable staff and we're willing to look at our transmission system to determine what was wrong because we could not back the car in reverse. They only charged us $10 for the service. Had we gone elsewhere we would have paid $25 or better for a diagnostic. We were 100% satisfied with the courtesy and the financial savings.

Great group here! Came in as a walk in customer tire kept losing air.... No prob we got you...less than half hour later tire repaired perfectly even during Covid-19 these guys hustle and they're taking effective precautions to prevent spread. Plenty of space to spread out to wait ... 1 customer only allowed to wait for repair at this time but got away with my wife and I waiting anyway...think they might only have to press that issue is the lot fills up all at once. Thanks guys for great service shout out to Shawn and Ashley...been some years but I miss you guys. Thanks again. Perfect experience!

Overall an awful experience. Horrible customer service. Spent a large sum of money for a job NOT well done. They make it obvious that you as the customer are absolutely not a priority to them and what they make sound like a simple task ends up taking days for them to do. Each day they say something else needs to be done to jack up the bill. Had I known they would make a simple change of parts into such a huge ordeal, I would have gone somewhere else. Not to mention their rudeness that I was supplying my own parts to save a couple hundred dollars. I would not recommend anyone going here if you want quality service and professional employees. I certainly will NOT be a returning customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has taken me a couple months to get around to writing this, but I have nothing but great things to say for the team at Cunningham Tire. My Dad has been going there for years and always speaks highly of the crew.Unfortunately, I didn t visit them in the best of circumstances. I was in town from northern VA with our kids. On my way up to Lynchburg for a business meeting, I was on Hwy 29 and had the misfortune of running over a driveshaft (not my own) at about 65mph. It was either the ditch, the truck next to me, or the driveshaft in my lane, so it hit the underside of our Yukon at full speed. It instantly blew out two tires and bent two rims worse than I ve ever seen, so I was lucky the vehicle didn t roll over. After limping to the side of the road, I called my Dad, and he said go to Cunningham. After putting on the spare and avoiding getting run over by an 18-wheeler, I called the guys, slowly drove down to their shop, and then showed them the damage. In a matter of minutes, they were calling junk yards to check on replacement rims (they re 22s because it s a Denali model), looking at tire options, and assessing the damage to the brake line. After calling about 5-6 salvage companies, they found two rims that were identical and in great shape and ordered new tires.In a matter of two days, they replaced my two rims, all the tires, the brake lines, surveyed the underside of the vehicle for any damage, and dealt with calls from my insurance company. The whole time, they kept me updated on the progress via text and phone call, and they had my kids and I back on the road in much less time than expected. We even hit a major storm on the way back, and I felt much safer on the new tires and after having the guys at Cunningham give it their seal of approval.My family and I are very appreciative of the work they did and the attention they gave me. My Dad definitely got this one right. Even though we live about four hours away, Cunningham has earned my business and then some. We ll be back next time we need tires on any of our vehicles. Hopefully, next time it won t be because of vicious driveshafts jumping up and biting us!Thanks Cunningham Tire!

THE OWNER SHAWN & HIS EMPYOYEES WERE VERY NICE. I WAS RECOMMENDED BY MY NEPHEW MAURICE TO VISIT CUNNINGHAM TIRES. IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE & THE PRICE. I WAS IN & OUT WITH A NEW SET OF TIRES WITHIN AND 1 1/2HR. BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. I AM VERY PLEASE.

2/25/20- My husband and I had tires and align on our GMC truck. We traveled from North Carolina to Virginia to have this service done. They are very professional and the the customer service is excellent. They go up and above the call of duty and we would recommend anyone to make the journey to have your vehicles service done.

Came by to get 2 tires plugged. They fixed these for me and once I left one of them was still leaking. I paid $40 for 2 plugs and now when I returned they tried to tell me that I may need a new tire. I used to always use Cunningham Tire but this is bad business and I will not be returning to this location.

Last year October 28, 2020, I purchased a set of 70,000 mile Falken ST80 tires. I had to come back for multiple flat repairs. Now in September 18, 2021 I returned, I have only had 2 tire rotation and 1 tire alinement. My car is currently out of allinement. Which I knew. My complaint is two of my 4 tires are completely balled, and needs replaced. There mechanic stated even ware a cross the tires.So lesson learned if your going to get tires from this establishment make sure your tiresare rotated according to them every 3000-5000 miles with paper work to prove it. Ensure your tires are in alinement even though your tires can go out of alinement if you hit potholes from daily driving. The clerk stated the tires would have to go back to the manufacturer but in the meantime, I would need to purchase 2 new tires and have an wheel alinement that they can't do until next week. If I could rate them 0 stars I would become no other recourse was offered. I could provide proof of 1 of each alinement and rotation. I have owned cars for over 30 year and never had to replace tires within one year of purchase. This establishment is taking advantage of customers. I will post this comment 250 times, because I paid $500.I feel the tires should have been sent back to the manufacturer.

9 out of 10 times I go to Cunningham tire, I am out of there within an hour, even when they're busy. The employees are always respectful and nice. They know my name when I walk in there. I go there for All of my vehicle maintenance needs large or small.

I've been dealing with Cunningham for over 7 years & so has my dad & sisters. Love it. Shaun and the other staff members are always professional . They listen to the problem I have and fix it right away. 5 star great customer service & overall great work.

Normally, I'm weary of car shops because of the "you should know what you're doing" attitude. From initial entrance to shop, greeted very friendly. Car was taken care of in a timely manner. Plus, shop did not give me glares for having my small children with. Go again? I hope not anytime soon, but if car messes up again, then yes I would :) recommend? Every time!

Purchased a set of Nexin tires for my Honda Pilot and only got about 26,000 miles on a 60,000 mile tire. Rotation performed every 4,000 miles at Honda dealership during oil change. Tire dealer sent tires back to manufacturer for a dollar adjustment (prorating) of which they denied because the wear was not even. I waited about 45 days for a response and finally had to make a follow up call. Not very good customer service!Beware of mileage warranty.....
