Fred did a wonderful job on diagnosis of an error which was unique and scary. We came here to get a fix on X3 which had stop twice at stop light when it was in D mode, got switch to P. Ended up changing battery Service was super, definitely coming back for next oil change.

I just want to express my gratitude for Fred!! I was traveling from VA to GA and had an unexpected car trouble. I had called nearby repair shops and he was the only one that could take me right away. I had to get my car towed to his shop and he was able to get everything handled for me in a timely matter, he explained what needed to be done and was very thorough in the work he did on my car. I can t express enough how he was a honest mechanic and had great customer service throughout it all. A true life saver, THANK YOU THANK YOU again Fred!! Highly recommend this repair shop!!

I bought my first BMW a couple of months ago. I took it to A1 to have my oil changed and the owner (Fred) went above and beyond. Not only did he change my oil but also (at no extra charge) looked over the entire vehicle to make sure it was in good running condition. He let me know what is wrong and the potential of problems to come. He (Fred) took care of my BMW was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Got the job done right and in a timely fashion. I am extremely happy with my car and the service provided at A1 and I will not have my BMW serviced by any other. Thanks Again Fred.

Fred is absolutely incredible, his knowledge about BMW's, their quirks for certain years, things to avoid when looking at certain models and his overall workman ship is very impressive. He communicated with his customers very well and doesn't cut corners as he had the opportunity to do that many times with repairing my vehicle but he is a man of integrity and honor who refuses to do the wrong thing in his business and for his customers. I would trust this man with any/ every BMW I purchase in the future and I would HIGHLY recommend you have your vehicles looked at by him before purchasing. Hes also just an overall great guy?

No experience yet but as I read the reviews of this person who specializes in bMW repairs, it sounds as if this is a great place to take my vehicle!!!��My most recent experience with another owner by the name of Fred; he is a true knowledgeable professional certified serviceman for bMWs. I took my X3 to his shop, left it in his hands and as he checked to be sure that the problem WAS the problem but not so for he found NOTHING wrong with the vehicle and he didn't charge much for the service. YES, I WILL return to his repair shop it if anything else is needed!!

The owner is a great guy. My X3 service engine light came on and I immediately took it to him, dropped it off and talked with him for a bit. He called me 4 hours laters with the problem fixed. He installed a new coil and fixed other things and the car runs great now. If you have any concerns regarding BMW this place is the place to go! I have been very pleased with my service every time I have taken my X1 for maintenance and repair. Fred is very knowledgeable and professional with his business practices. I feel very confident in his recommendations and I never feel like he wants to do extra but treats everyone like he would like to be treated. His prices are very reasonable. I first took my BMW to A1 for some much needed attention. Fred did a very professional and superb job at a very fair and reasonable rate. My next visit was equally as impressive. He explained everything that was wrong and why, what needed to be done and why, how much it would cost, and advised me on issues that I may encounter in the future. His undeniable expertise and impeccable customer service puts him far above any experience I ve ever had at any of the large BMW dealerships. Truly A1, the name says it all. A five star rating is simply not enough. He deserves 10 stars... and a cookie.

Fred is absolutely magnificent. He managed to fit my Z4 in for a desperately needed parking brake adjustment. No easy task. Did a great job at a VERY reasonable cost. I wouldn t consider taking my BMW s anywhere else. A real treasure to have an honest, knowledgeable and friendly specialist in Southside Virginia. Trust Fred for excellent service.

I'm a 1st time BMW Owner. I have a 2013 X5. It had a few issues so I brought it to A1 in Danville. I'm very satisfied with the service I have received. Their very professional and courteous. I've been to them a few times and they have " sold " Me. This is where I will continue to come and have my BMW serviced. And oh yeah , their prices are reasonable as compared to a Dealership and that's a plus. !

Very positive experience. Very friendly people. Certified BMW technician. Honest technician you can trust! We have been taking our 5 Series to A1 Repair for regularly maintenance. Will continue to do business with them. Highly recommend!

We took my husband's Mini Cooper in for diagnostic amid a repair debacle with the dealer we purchased from. Fred diagnosed the issues with our Mini, at no charge to us when we explained we had decided to take it back to the dealer. We ended up bringing our Mini back to Fred, who completed all of our agreed upon repairs in the time promised. We are so happy with Fred and A1!

Very trustworthy brought my BMW in for a bad oil leak car was fixed right performs better than what it has ever perform I love it.I recommended my friend to bring his car in for service was excellent car was fixed right the first time. Why drive to Greensboro to get a half job done when you could stay local.

Service is amazing!! My starter went out at Sams last week and I called him he towed my 528i and had back within 2 days let me say he was out of town when I got stuck but he made a call and still took care of me! This is the only certified BMW technician in Danville and I am so glad because otherwise my car would have had to be towed to another city and state!! Highly recommended for BMW owners

Took my BMW X5 diesel in for maintenance. It was running great. The computer just called for service. Was told I had crystalization on my def sensor. $3000.00. then my particulate filter was going bad. $4000.00 more. Then glow plugs... Etc... $9000.00 in repairs and the threat of being stranded if one of these fail soon. I went home and did some research and found that there are several much cheaper fixes. Called a BMW repair shop in Greensboro and found that something as simple as filling your def up could fix the sensor crystal issue. Also that it could be cleaned with a distilled water flush and refill. The particulate filter could be treated with additives as the first option. Liquid moly to be precise. None of these options were even mentioned. Wow! I guess my 2 BMWs will be going to Greensboro from now have on.

I replaced my engine in my 335i and some how it caused a voltage problem. I went to a couple supposedly big time dealerships in Greensboro, NC (I ll be polite and not mention names) but I wasted almost a year of time on this headache. They had me replacing every code the cpu could possibly say was wrong. To make a long story short I wasted $900 (nothing fixed)! Then I had it towed to A1 BMW (which they do themselves) in Danville, they fixed the problem (which was causing the cpu to say other things were wrong that weren t) and for over two thirds less cost. You all can waste money with these big dealerships, I only take my car to A1!

I am with the service pleased with the service I received at this facility. He not only repairs your car he also advise you of potential problems that may arise with your vehicle.I would recommend this facility to anyone who want their BMW repaired correctly.

Best thing I could have done was take my BMW to A1! The professionalism and care with which I was dealt is unsurpassed! As long as I have my BMW I will not trust it to anyone else but A1 for care and service! I will recommend them to anyone!

Very good experience in spite of terrible luck. I broke down while driving by Danville due to water in my gas and was lucky to find this place! Knowledgeable mechanic who had my vehicle back on the road in a few hours and had lots of helpful advice on the vehicle.

Fred is gangsta, he knows a BMW inside out. I got my x5 to him and he serviced it and tuned it up very good, it had bad smoke from the exhaust and he fixed it and now it runs perfect like new. Thanks freddy

Bad oil leak , Fred Replaced filter & Cleaned car from top to bottom inside and out , while motor . Replaced some headlights with some new ones and also put in my cold air intake . Full tune up , spark plugs , oil change and transmission flush . Five star . Highly Recommend , Very Proffessional .
