When life throws a curve and you find yourself involved in a car accident this is the place to get it fixed! I have had several uninsured deer hit me over the years and Hugh's got our vehicle back to "good as new" status. The under shield of my car was ripped off so I brought it to Hughes. Within 15 minutes I had an estimate and it was very good. When the part came in I showed up at the appointment time and 20 minutes later it was as good as new.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Great body shop and tow service. Paint and body is excellent. Youay have to wait but great body work. As for towing always reliable.

Never Do Business with a place like this, will do whatever it takes to make a well NON deserved $They got us pretty bad after personally asking them for help.$600 for a regular tow and wanted $50 per day storage for a stolen vehicle that was towed by them.Since we are in TN and we own the vehicle it's either we pay the bill or they keep a 2015 vehicle worth $10000.then they only accept cash ( what a business) we had to send someone 470 miles to pay them and pick up the car and that's double the tow for us.Just a careless non considering business. the reviews shows what kind of business this is!

Will & Steve at Hughes Body Shop were so helpful to my mom when her car was hit while parked last month. Estimate was dinner very quickly, and repair work amazing! The paint was matched perfectly! The office staff dealt with the insurance companies to get the body work reimbursed, they truly went above and beyond!! Kudos, for a fantastic job!! Before and after pics above.

I needed my car inspected, because I let it slip until the end of the month, and they did a GREAT JOB! I was done in under an hour, the service was quick and the people were polite and courteous. I really appreciate them helping me out, since I forgot I needed an inspection and all that. I'll go back again for something in the future.

STAY AWAY from this place!!! Classic bait and switch operation. Distasteful business practices and horrible customer service. My son needed some front in work on his beater car that he paid cash for. So the 17 year old son and my wife took the car up there for an estimate, which Hugh's gave and also gave them a list of parts to pull from a local salvage yard. Dropped the car off 3 days earlier for what they said would take 2-3 days to complete and for the next two and 1/2 weeks had to keep calling to find out if it was done. Always an excuse why it wasn't. Finally when the car was complete, they gave us a bill that was 3 times the amount they quoted!!!! Never once did they call to advise that some of the work they would like to do was bumping the price up. When questioned owner said they assumed we would want it done, even though they knew we were trying to get this completed as cost effectively as possible, hence pulling our own parts. The whole experience and dealing with this company was frustrating and disgraceful. I asked the owner to explain to my son, who was working 2 jobs to pay for the repairs why they were taking advantage of him and the owner could not look him in the eyes when he gave his lame excuses. Never once apologized, made plenty of excused why the quote and the actual amount was 3 times higher and never once offered to make it right. Doing some investigating and also talking with local county sheriff's department, this is not the first time, they have done this to someone by doing unnecessary work to jack up the price but never telling the customer about it. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and talking with the local news station to see if they would like to look into this for my son. STAY AWAY!!!!

Called twice about bringing my car in for estimate, told any time during regular hours. Went over at 1:20 told guy who does estimates was out sick. He is normally there all day except lunch at 12. I have been back three more times during my lunch break (around 1:15) he has NEVER been there. After reading the other reviews I guess that's a blessing and I will be going elsewhere.

This business must only have one person who can do state inspections. The last 2 times I went there to get my car inspected he was either at lunch or on a call. The first attempt I went back a third time, waited about 15 minutes and then my car was inspected. The second time for a different car after being turned away twice I went somewhere else.

The staff is very friendly. They do excellent work on any repairs they do. The vehicle i had done there looked like new. They really put the time and effort into everything they work on to make sure it looks good and the customer is satisfied. Id reccommend for any one to use them.

This is not a review for towing, it is in regard to a collision repair. I was in an accident a few months ago. Although I had quotes from other people to repair the vehicle who told me they could have the car back to me in 3 weeks, I went with Hugh's because my insurance agent recommended them. It took them 3 months to repair the car. In addition they never called to let me know what was happening and on several occasions when I called, they told me it would be ready on a certain date but when that date arrived and I called them, they told me it wasn't ready. The repairs were done satisfactory but the car was dirty on the inside from when it was in the accident. I would not use or recommend them.

Hughs has been my go to for getting my car worked on the last several years. I know one of the mechanics and he does a great job. Recently I had a vehicle break down and was literally able to coast into their lot. I have a third party warranty on this vehicle and Hughs will not work with them so I had to have it towed to a different mechanic. I did however ask that Hughs pull the engine codes which advance auto parts will do for free, Hughs hit me for $100 for that. Other than my most recent experience I've always been happy with Hughs.

Prices are too high. I had my Jeep inspected. My battery was bad the guy said he had a battery for $170 and would charge $45 to put it in. I declined his offer, went a mile up the road to Advance Auto, got a battery for less than her wanted and they installed it for free.

They keep your car forever. They miss painting places. They replaced my windshield but neglected to return the inspection sticker which I didn't notice until I was halfway home. They will never call to let you know why you aren't getting your car back this Friday or last Friday or the one before...you get the picture. You can call them twice a week, every week. We're waiting on a part. Well the part didn't come in. We got 2 guys out sick today. You'll have to call back, he's at lunch. Oh then the bill will kill !!

They held my vehicle to extort money! I broke down I called the state police and botetourt sheriff we hired a tow truck to take my vehicle to Lexington when the tow truck got there the vehicle was gone. we called the state police back they didn't know where it was neither did the botetourt county sheriff or any of the tow companies in buchanan. so we ended up having to report it as stolen. hours later the state police discovered that they towed it to this place. this place wanted $225 to get my car from them after already paying $150 to the original truck that was supposed to get it. after attempting to explain to them that it was a miscommunication within the state police department and not our fault they informed us they were closing and it would be an additional $50 a night.

Too bad I can't rate their service with a zero. Such a shame to have a local business that price gouges and takes advantage of others circumstances for personal gain. Does not attempt to offer any assistance or good will to others. Does hold cars for ransom and then sells for profit.

My husband was working on our car and needed a bolt loosened up because it was froze up. Hugh's rudely refused to help, after several ppl had sent us there saying they could/ would.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with the tow portion of this ignorant company. They are not equipped or perhaps not educated enough to take credit cards on the side of the road. I was forced to follow them 6 exits down the highway only to find out they did not lead me anywhere I could pay for the service but just got me to an ATM machine at a gas station. THE IGNORANT TOW DRIVER COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THAT A CREDIT CARD IS NOT AN ATM CARD AND THAT I COULD NOT USE IT TO GET CASH. His solution was to try and force me to ride with him to ANOTHER location assuring me he could take the credit card there. Yeah, I don't think so buddy. Childhood 101 you moron, don't get in the car with strangers! After being held up for over an hour in the middle of a freezing blizzard I was forced to hand over my credit card and allow him to drive off with it. Horrible service and I will leave this same review on every site possible so no other women go through such a horrific and terrifying experience with these thugs!!!

Well I have to say these guys are the best!!! We were wrecked out on I-81 and they showed up like the military was called in. Every ones of there guys are top notch, super friendly and thank you!

They do pretty good work, but the Lady up front is dull and doesnt seem to want to help with anything. Customer service goes a long way.
