Best shop in the region! The dealership quoted me over 8 grand for a new transmission due to bolt being striped on my cooler line. Well Trans Auto Dynamics was able to fix it with a helicoil, and I was back on the road for only 300 bucks. I am a customer for life now, and they are the only shop that will touch the transmission on my truck from here on out.

This is our second experience with Trans Auto Dynamics and both have been great. My son s clutch and transmission were failing and James at Trans Auto was recommended to us for the repair. Originally only the clutch was repaired but the car continued to have similar issues as before. We brought it in again and took very good care of us. Next the trans in my pickup needed to be replaced. Trans Auto worked with the warranty company covering the repair to make sure it was seamless for me. And they got the work done way ahead of the estimated schedule.

Trans Auto received my car from Chapman's Towing and within a couple hours correctly diagnoses the problem. Another shop I previously brought it to completey missed the issue and wanted to replace the whole transmission, Trans Auto found the issue was just a failed motor mount.They saved me thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs the other shop wanted to do.Trans Auto provided me Honesty, Fair, and Quick work. They will be getting all my future transmission work.Thank you guys!!

Went to see James after two other companies told me I needed a new transmission because of the codes. The vehicle was driving and shifting fine. Turns out it was the emissions issue that Tundras are known for. Honesty is so appreciated.

My family and I were on our way to the lake for vacation and my Nissan Altima started acting up on the highway. Luckily stopped into Trans Auto and they were quick to test drive it and run diagnostic on it to determine it was the transmission. They were honest enough to suggest I call the Nissan dealer because this particular transmission had problems and they extended warranty. James was even nice enough to drive me to pickup a rental car. They are great people and run an honest shop.

These guys fixed my valve body rather than doing a complete rebuild, saved me $2500. I d never take my vehicle anyplace else. Honest and fair, and they don t waste time. Honest. Recommended to me by a friend when I was told my Silverado needed it s entire transmission replaced by my local mechanic. Took it to these guys for a replacement expecting a 5000 dollar repair and they ended up just replacing a sensor for 600 bucks. Will return and recommend to anyone I talk to.

I had my 08 Toyota Tundra towed here with multiple check engine lights for the transmission and had reached the limits of my personal abilities. Jason answered all my questions and had my truck back on the road in two days with winter weather looming around the corner. I was expecting thousands of dollars and probably a new transmission but for less than a thousand dollars and a simple fix, I had my truck back and ready to tackle the roads. I can t say enough good things about the professionals at Trans Auto Dynamics. I will be recommending them to everyone who will listen and they will be my first stop for any future problems. Some of the best customer service that I ve ever had at a repair shop. I had a question about my transmission leaking and James stopped what he was doing, diagnosed that it was slightly over filled and that s why it was leaking, siphoned some of it out, and I was on my way NO CHARGE. These guys were great. I took my 2000 Dodge Ram in for a transmission fluid change, filter change, and band adjust. Price was exceptional. The tran pan did leak after the work, but these pans are notorious for that. I took it back and they fixed the leak for no cost by tap drilling and inserting new bolts. Overall, extremely happy.

Jim and the guys did a great job on my 2010 Escape's transmission--it hasn't run this smoothly since I bought it. Transmissions are never cheap, but Jim was straight up about the job so there weren't any surprises, add-ons, or up-sells.

I give 2 stars only because they busted my engine cover, and left my fire guard hanging halfway off my hood and failed to even mention it to me. I only found out when I popped the hood to check my oil. Other than that they were very friendly and helpfull.

They listened to what I thought was wrong. We took a good test drive to replicate the problem. Then gave their professional opinion. They fixed my problem and the price was very reasonable. They did not try to sell me more than I needed.
