I'm surprised these guys aren't higher rated.I've come to Ron's off and on for the past 10 years or so when I need a quick patch on a tire or some used tires for my work cars. I've even recommended them quite a few times with no issues. They've always been quick, honest, and reasonably priced. They've given me no reason to say otherwise.

Owner was helping to sale someone's vehicle, and it was a straight lemon. They end up selling it to my mother not telling her that it had major transmission problems. When she went to test-drive it. It was down to E on gas, so she was not able to drive it around. I'm very unhappy with them for not being honest ppl and selling a car knowing that it had major transmission problems. But I am sure that the owner has good tires and other service that he provides to the community. But the people that he allowed selling a vehicle on his lot and they work there did my mother wrong!!

Had a tire pop on me and this was the closest place that was luckily for me open. Got the tire off and replaced alot quicker than I thought would happen and was a whole lot cheaper than what I had to pay at another shop before. Everyone was helpful and friendly, if I have another tire issue I'll be sure to return.

I received the best service yesterday. Devin and Roger were awesome. I was greeted before I could even park. They fixed my tire and went above and beyond to help put my spare tire back and they could have just threw it in the back like a lot of places would have. Best customer service!!! Truly appreciated them when I was having a rough day. Keep up the great work guys!

Had a Flat tire. Called them they had one in stock. I showed up and they replaced it in like 20 minutes. Answered all the questions I had, and I was good to go. Friendly And explained it in a way, without knowledge could understand

Was in a pinch and needed a tire in a hurry. They were very helpful and polite. In a matter of minutes I was driving away with a new (used) tire at a very reasonable price.Edit: I now have returned there on 3 separate occasions and each time my tire was plugged/repaired and back in my hands 5 minutes later for $15. I realize this won t be everyone s experience. But I ve had only good experiences there!

They changed out my tire in less than 10 minutes on a walk in and I paid 20 dollars less than what they quoted me over the phone. I know where I'm going next time I need tires. Fantastic!

Went to Ron's today to get tired. Got there at 6:50 n went inside n lady said they was open just tell the tire guy what I need. He refuse to wait on me n said he's done for the day. My tire got a screw sticking out n losing air so I told him my situation n he said wasn't his problem. Safe to say I told the lady inside he refuse my service n I left with my tire almost flat. Hope this ain't there idea of good customer service. I would love to talk to a owner about this.

Generally rude staff. Customer service is not a priority there and every issue I've had with whatever service I've paid for was never fixed without more money regardless of fault. I've had several air stem issues and it's been every time except once that I've gotten one of their tires. I've been to much shadier and smaller used tire places with better quality anf longer lasting used tires and MUCH better customer service. Even with language barriers. It's too bad, this company could be so much better. I wish I could be more supportive of a local business...

We called to make sure they had our tires in stock, and they did! When we got there, they were already waiting for us. Very quick, affordable, and great customer service!

I am surprised at what I read for reviews. I have only used Ron's tires twice now and both times the staff was courteous and efficient. With that being said, however, the new tires I got last week, one is dead. So I know Ron's offers a 30 warranty, I will write back and let you know how well that goes over. but overall, I have not had a bad experience with the staff or products, and I am not even going to count this one as being a bad experience...yet

DON'T GO HERE. I needed one tire yesterday. Everywhere else was busy, but there wasn't a single car waiting at Ron's. I should have taken that as a sign. I had one used tire put on, and that tire blew out an hour later. I went to a more reputable place and got a new tire this morning because I no longer trust Ron's tires. I took the old tire back to Ron's and was told that even though they sold me a bad tire that lasted one hour, they would not be refunding my money. I will not be back.

Used tires are, well, used. If you know little about tires, and want new tires, I suggest you tell your tire service provider. Ron's can sell you new tires, problem solved. I'm reminded of Paul Harvey and "The rest of the story..." That's what's missing in reviews these days. How did Ron's handle the problem? It doesn't sound like they were even told. I have purchased many used tires at Ron's and elsewhere. The used tire consumer has to be savvy, educate yourself. Sounds like one customer didn't know how put on the spare tire! Towing and impound lots can be modern legalized piracy, beware! Given that I only buy used tires, look them over carefully, and know what I'm getting; I'm very pleased with the hard working guys that actually do the work in the shop. I've had very few problems, and haven't had any problems they didn't fix. Grow up and take some responsibility for operating your 2,000-5,000 lbs. vehicle people!

Got a nail in my tire when I was in the area, so stopped in here to get it repaired. I don't know where the miscommunication went but he took my tire off and was going to replace it. My tire is still in good condition, so I didn't need a replacement! So, I stopped him before he gave me a new tire. He ended up putting it back on and patching it as requested initially.Later, my steering wheel was shaking vigorously because my tire was not balanced when he put it back on! Drove all the way back here the next day to make them balance it. First story was, "I did balance it when I put the tire back on". Second story was, "We don't balance it unless you request it and pay for it". So, which is it? From the very beginning, they clearly want to hustle more money out of your pocket.Ridiculous and rude staff.

Purchased used tires in December of 2017 - within a week I was back with a leak in one of the tires. At the onset of the purchase was shown four Pirelli tires in great condition; to my disappointment and unbeknownst to me, I received non-matching (not Pirelli) tires in less than ideal condition. I ve since been back twice due to low tire pressure. The used tire shop said it was most likely that my TPMS sensors weren t working properly - so I was sent to the automotive shop to have an inspection completed. Turns out the sensors were fine - the tires were supposed to be inspected and were done so visually and no issues identified. I returned to the used tire shop expecting some sort of recourse since it wasn t the sensors. I was sent back to the automotive shop to have a full tire inspection. Inspection was completed - but come to find out it was visual again and the tires weren t even removed from the vehicle. They didn t check the tread, but said I wouldn t pass my next inspection (in 8 months). I was also informed that I should have tires replaced before traveling out of state - so I paid $250 for tires that I ve had to go back for three times and shouldn t drive on out of state after only months. Since I am out of the 30 day warranty (even though I came in with concerns within a week) - there is nothing that can be done, other than purchasing more tires(but I could get a discount on used! - joke). There was no documentation on file for the multiple visits for issues - I had to request to have a document written up for documentation purposes (not like that will help). I asked to speak to a manager - the automotive shop said they were between management. The used tire shop said the owner most likely was not at work and could not be reached - but I was speaking to the administrative manager (not sure what that means). Best thing they have going for them is Josue - he is very friendly and helpful. Not expecting to receive any response to this or calls to follow-up as they didn t even ask for my contact information. In conclusion - used tires are probably not the best choice, but if you re trying to save some cash don t get your used tires here. Wish I would have read reviews first. Gino (owner) - if you read this, I would appreciate at least a response.

Thank you Ed and Haley! Came in originally looking for a used tire, but could not find the exact brand I was looking for. I ended up going with new at a great price (and trust me, I definitely checked around, Michellin is not cheap). Had my tire delivered the next day and put on in 25 minutes! Shortest I've ever been in and out of an auto shop!! Thanks a million guys!!

Needed a replacement tire for one blown out. Asked for the best one they had, he gave me an off bread with low and uneven tread wear. When I asked about it the said that was the best they had. He let me check myself and I found a Goodyear with great even tread, so I bought that one. Then the tire installer did not balance it but DID check off that he balanced it. When I questioned it, the guy said "oh, it doesn't need to be balanced" so I spoke with Ron and he hastily complied and balanced it in front of me. I'll never go back!

Called the "head office" because front royal refused to honor their warrantee on my dry rotted tires that 3 of won't hold air. Wasn't offered a refund said they couldnt get any more used tires that size for months and tried to sell me a new set instead and gave me a credit half of what I paid for the tires. Save yourself the trouble and go buy new tires from a real tire shop.

I rate this place with ZERO STARS! We have used this place a few times for tires, the last time BOTH tires went flat the next day. Last night my dad was on the way home and his tire fell off. He moved the car to a location out of the way and it was towed right before he went to fix the tire. They charged him $486.00 to get it out of the tow yard and refused to let him fix the tire while it was there. They were extremely rude and seemed so very happy to be taking so much money from our family. Terrible customer service and I recommend no one uses these people. We will never be going back. WORST PLACE EVER!

Had a slow leak on the right front tire and noticed that there was a screw in it. I drove to the closest Ron's which for me was in Culpeper. Drove up, talk to a gentleman in the back (unk. name). He had a black surgical mask over his face. In, out and on my way with 20 minutes !! I have had the pleasure of dealing with several Ron's locations and get GREAT service EVERY time !! Kudos !!
