Honest, fast working shop. They were able to look at my car right after I dropped it off and provide me a detailed list with photos of items wrong. The shop was great on communication and called me numerous times to explain everything they found. The option of the loaner car was perfect for me as I didn t have to miss work to get my car looked at. I will absolutely be returning.

I highly recommend Culpeper Tire and Auto repair, as I myself working for a small business I usually try to support my local small businesses and I was very pleased with my service. I called in last min on a Monday morning without an appointment for a state inspection and the receptionist told me they were closing at 12:30 and I told her I was in town already and could be there in 10 mins or so amd when i got there they took my car right back. They were very professional and the receptionist went over my inspection with me thoroughly over the details and they also text you your vehicles over all report which is also very detailed and thorough. I was out in a timely manner and will be using them again!

Been going to them for 5 years.. Even tho there moving! Still gonna continue to do business with them!! Sometimes a 40-50 minute drive is worth it for good service and friendly staff!

This is the best mechanic car and tire service in Culpeper VA . Chris the owner is kind, honest and the whole family and staff makes you feel special in your time of repair. I will not be using Culpeper Tire and Auto again. I made an appt at 1 o clock for new tires and a state inspection. My car was dropped off the night prior with keys left in the lock box. My car did not get worked on until 2:30. When I picked my car up at 4, I was told I had a battery was not up to standard and would need a new battery. I have not had issues with the battery or any indications that the battery was dying. My car was also not state inspected. When I asked why, I was told my appointment was for new tires, not a state inspection. Although I know for a fact I made the appointment for a state inspection and new tires as my car would not pass with the current tires on it. I was told there was not time to do that so I would have to make another appointment. I was sent a link showing that my car was inspected for health regulations . I did not ask for my car engine to be checked and was told multiple things were wrong and needed to be replaced on the car, which again I have not had issues with. I went to start my car the following morning and it is totally dead. Found out after getting my battery tested that it was fried due to improper hook up for battery life testing. The woman at the front desk was very rude and said it s just a coincidence my car battery died the day after my car was at Tire and Auto.My car will be going elsewhere for a state inspection and I will never use Culpeper Tire and Auto again.Service: Tires

Took my vehicle in for a brake line diagnostic. The ebrake had been pinched by the jack while changing a wheel. I was told after a $150 20min diag that the ebrake was not functioning and needed replaced. All told, I was quoted an additional $500 to change the cable. Took it for a 2nd opinion to the dealership and low and behold, everything checked out, only cosmetic damage, and the annual inspection passed and sticker issued. They also recommended $1400 in fluid changes even though I have a regular maintenance schedule that I ensure is kept up with. I guess I looked like a vulnerable dollar sign. Certainly won't be going back.

We were on vacation and called Culpeper about a tire replacement on our rental car. They gave us information quickly, but also suggested that we contact the rental company for a switch out to another vehicle (which we did). Their great service actually cost them business, but helped us tremendously.

This was my first time coming here, and at the very least I can say that I will be coming here from now on. During the 7 years of owning a car, I never felt like I was being heard or taken seriously at mechanics. Culpeper Tire and Auto took the time to hear me out, genuinely look at my car, help me understand what was wrong with my car, and then formed a plan they will help execute to get my car up and running. Another note: I ve had an oil leak ever since getting my car in 2016; NO mechanic (four/five different mechanics) found a leak. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong and that there wasn t a leak. Well, Culpeper Tire and Auto found the oil leak!! I am grateful.

CT&A was able to get my vehicle for a (long overdue) safety inspection. The inspection was performed as scheduled, was thorough, and was well-documented. The findings from the inspection were carefully reviewed with me and then emailed to me for my records. I had a great experience with this establishment yesterday. The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions. The office was clean and comfortable for my daughter and I while we waited for our car to get inspected. I also really liked the electronic report that they provided me after the inspection. My experience was wonderful. The waiting area was very comfortable, warm and inviting. I also appreciated the kindness from the receptionist. As I was sitting and waiting for the work to be done. I was delighted to see that they had already sent me the information and recommendations for my vehicle. I then made my decisions on what repairs would be made or if I needed to make an appointment. Great customer service. I had four brand new tires put on and an alignment and driving home. I felt like I was riding on butter. I want to thank them so much for the awesome job they did for me. Selected this shop as they were a preferred installer for Tire Rack. Had tires shipped to the shop, and dropped the vehicle off after hours for installation and state inspection. Chris called the next day to let me know it was complete and I paid over the phone. Picked up the vehicle that evening. Was an easy painless experience. The whole team at Culpeper Tire & Auto Shop went above and beyond to help us with our Tesla. We got a flat tire on 29 between Charlottesville and Culpeper. Our car got towed to the shop late on a Thursday afternoon. They took a look at it right away, before we even got there ourselves. The damage was too extensive for repair and the wheel was also damaged. We had to get a new wheel, and again, they fit us right in first thing in the am. I highly recommend them. Culpeper Tire and Auto Repair is awesome. They saved my day, I was driving from Charlottesville towards the Washington DC area when one of my tires starting losing air pressure about half way into the trip. Lucky for me I was very near Culpeper on Route 29 and even luckier Culpeper Tire and Auto is right off of Route 29. I got to the shop as the tire was getting pretty close to going completely flat. It was raining outside and I had my car packed up, they were able to get the car in and I was out of there with a patched tire in about an hour. Feel very fortunate to have found them when I needed the help. Everyone in the place was incredibly nice and helpful. Can t thank them enough. They have the most amazing friendly staff and the make the whole process a breeze and they email and text you with all the info and photos of your visit so there is no question of what they did was valid.
