I can't say enough good things about Culpeper Motorcars or John Gayle and Sam Wall who run the place. I recently bought a 2015 Honda CRV and have been pleased with the car, but I was even more pleased to discover this small pleasant used car lot on Brandy Road in Culpeper. I had searched online from Staunton to Harrisonburg to Charlottesville before looking at Culpeper Motorcars online inventory. I saw several vehicles that interested me and so drove out one morning to take a closer look.I dealt initially with John, who could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. When it came time to close the deal, I dealt with Sam, who was professional, efficient and clearly interested in making sure I got "my" car.The CRV was in great shape both visually and mechanically and I paid a fair price for it. My mechanic even said it was a great deal!If you are in the market for a good used car, I would encourage you to visit Culpeper Motorcars and check out what they have to offer. I don't think you will be disappointed. I certainly was not! They are a pleasure to deal with.

In February 2024 my Husband and I was looking for a nice reliable for our granddaughter. I came across Culpeper Motorcars online which was 2 hrs from where we lived .I reached out to the dealership to express that we would like to come look at the car & test drive. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness, respect and wasnt put under any pressure whatsoever. Sam and John made us feel like a part of the family and they took care of everything that needed to be done so that we were able to bring the car home the same day, which was on a Saturday. Out all the cars we've purchased in our lifetime, this was by far the least stressful and the quickest purchase ever. We love the car, our granddaughter loves the car. Since then we've had some questions etc and Sam continues to be more than willing to help. If you're in the market for a nice car and a pleasant experience I highly recommend Culpeper Motorcars.

I purchased a car from John and the owner, and let me just tell you...it was great. Culpeper Motorcars was the first place i went to, to shop for a car. I test drove multiple cars and at multiple places, but I came back to these guys cause they were the least car salesmen like. They didn't pressure me. They didn't send me texts, emails and bombard me with phone calls. They checked in but they didn't bother me LIKE EVERY OTHER CAR DEALERSHIP!! I got my car from them a month ago or so and I'm still getting calls from other dealers Anyway, if I need another car, I'll be going to them!!Thank you guys so much for your help, your information, and for not being pestering salesmen. You're the best!!!

What to do when you hit a deer. Find a local dealer to work with. A honest reputable dealer can go a long way. Nothing but positive things to say about our dealings with John and Sam.

Dealer was easy to work with, even fixed a cosmetic issue my wife noted on the bumper. Car was super clean on the inside. Zero pressure shopping experience. Closing was a breeze with no surprises and the price was competitive. Took car to mechanic to do my own inspection and car is in great condition, just needed new tires and an alignment and now drives great. Would buy from again!Thanks John, Sam and team.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealer on 12/29/2022. I worked directly with Sam and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The vehicle itself was clean and nothing was hidden because we were provided a copy of the CarFax for review. Didn't attempt to upsell and there was no pressure to buy something different. Closing was easy and I was actually very shocked (in a good way) that there were no additional "fees" that other dealers will tack on to rip you off. I can't recommend this dealer enough! Was honest, easy, and we got a great price on the vehicle. Would not hesitate to buy a car from them again.Thank you so much for making this a great experience!

Sam was super helpful and awesome as he put up with my less than polite mother while buying my first car with her in hand. I can't thank him enough! This place was very great to me highly recommend 10/10, go here for your vehicle. I didn't have a way there they sent me a walk around of the car. They got it md inspected and tagged and dove it to my home 2 hours away and we agreed on a price and they met it. 10/10+ for their help they we a blessing and a God send in the headache that is the auto world.

I purchased a vehicle from these guys they told me they were going to give me a new part but it was used and didn t specify at the time of sale. The ac doesn t work. Do Not recommend buying from these guys.

Was promised a new part and received a used part that after a week stopped working .Took car to dealership and was told that the part wasn't any good and has to be replaced .We called and was told that they only put used parts on there car.We weren't told anything at time of sale about putting a used part on the vehicle because if told so we wouldnt have purchased it .I dont recommend buying a car from this place

This place is wonderful!! I really loved the service they gave me, the price of the car was very good, they are very reliable people and I would definitely return to this place. The language was not a problem so 100% recommended. I love my car and it is new inside and out!Este lugar es maravilloso!!
