I am not sure what is going on with the other mean reviews, but Emmett and our local U-Haul has always been professional, neighborly, punctual--helped us every stage of the way. Great experience that took the edge off of a stressful move!

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This place is a joke. We reserved a 26 truck by speaking directly to Emmitt the owner. He stated that the store would be open at 9am our reservation was for 10am. As responsible adults do we showed up early. The building was closed so we try to contact the owner. Nope that s not going to happen 10 phone calls later and we are still waiting in the lot. It s now 10:30am. We ended up having to rent a second truck from Troutville and pay a second time. Now we have to try to get our money back from this imaginary Emmitt . Read the reviews don t make our mistake, btw this was happening to a second couple in the lot while we were waiting. I don t know the process but Emmitt should be stripped of his Uhaul sponsorship.

Useless . Website said open . Can t get ahold of anyone. Few hours later website said closed . Hot springs is open , both in Lexington are open . No phone number or hours on the office door . Poorly run . Judging by other reviews, should have know ! Useless. Went to Lexington. Great place and service.

The man running the office showed up 35 minutes late to open the store and sent us to the wrong location to return the uhaul. Was the worst experience. The whole shop smelled like smoke as 2 of the mechanics were smoking in the building.

This dealer told me he had to fix something on truck but ready for morning pick up. When I arrived the dealer had not fixed truck so I had 6 people waiting to help me move and no uhaul to do it. He was a lazy sad excuse to deal anything with the public. Didn't even call to let me know so I could rent another.

I broke down in Covington over the weekend of the 4th, and they were able to get me back on the road in hours for under what they quoted!

They say that they are open at 9 am but they never are. And it's a very shady place.

They have nothing there, had to go to hit springs to find one, waste of our time
